*** This story will be temporarily on hold. I am sorry to my readers if I can't continue to write this at the moment. I plan to finish The Royal Contract first this month before continuing to write this one. Again, I am asking for your understanding. Due to financial reasons, I need to write a new book for now. A Contract to Marry the Cold-hearted CEO I hope you will give it a try. Thanks again for reading my stories. *** Little girls dreamed of sparkling tiaras and fancy gowns. Little boys wanted to drive fast cars. Well, could she have both? And the father she had never met as a bonus. Luisa was the spunky, street-smart girl next door that wanted her life to have meaning. She lived her life like she was not exceptional except when she was behind the wheel, racing for the finish line. But was that all she wanted? One day, a man dressed up in an impeccable suit came up to her and told her she was a princess, heir to the throne. Insane, right? He was a prince and a successful tycoon who almost had everything except one thing. He wanted the crown. But he had no birthright to rule the Kingdom. Until he discovered there was another way for him to become King. However, he had to agree to the conditions and convince his future Queen of his plans. Easy, right? Would an arrangement be the solution to what they both desire? Would Luisa submit to what Liam proposed? Or would they get more than what they bargained for in the end? Note: This story is related to the Royal Contract book. Still, it is a standalone story. There is no need to read the other book to understand it. Finally, they all fell into silence as they worked on their doughs, cutting them into sizes and molding them before placing them inside the oven preheated to the desired temperature.
"Liam, would you accompany me to the basement? I need to pick a good wine to go with the steak." The Count requested, needing to speak with him privately and give the two a chance to be alone.
He could not help but wonder whether Luisa would ever want to learn about her father. Would Lance accept her as his daughter? Then, if the father and daughter reconciled, what would be his grandson's next move? Would he propose to her for real?
On the other hand, if Luisa decided to end this charade and forget about trying to find her father. And she chose to remain a commoner with no name or title. Would his grandson end this affair and forget all about her?
"Don't worry about us. I will keep Luisa entertained." King Lance assured Liam, who seemed reluctant to leave.
