As Travis remained silent I felt my curiosity beginning to grow. Even though I didn't know what he was getting at when he said I had forgotten something, I couldn't help but want to know what it was. The longer he stayed quiet the greater the urge to know grew until I could no longer stand it.
"Travis, what am I supposed to remember that I've forgotten?" I asked now drawing Travis' attention to me. "Could you please explain."
Meeting my gaze once more Travis' eyes expressed some emotion I couldn't quite place my finger on. It was as if a million things flitted there before resolve took place.
"Are you just playing ignorant or have you truly forgotten?" Travis asked seeming not quite sure if I was being genuine with my questions.
Huffing I tried to contain myself. "I'm truly curious what it is you're talking about, because I am baffled."
