The Attack

The year is 1240 in the city of Chanchan a country blessed with good land and natural resources. It is a country known for their art, colour, beautiful music and strong military power in the Zode island which is the continent. But the Snake nation has been making several attacks on the country and Benard the leader of the snake nation has been making threats and asked Chanchan to surrender or face bloodshed but the King of Chanchan Ores told him that he can never give up his country that easily and Benard has been making continuous attacks on their ports and villages.

It is a cool evening in the capital city of Centri, 18 year old James who is fair with brown eyes, pretty muscular and tall sits alongside his father Dominic a tall burly man in his fifties who is a centurion in the Chanchanian army when a knock was heard on the door. Domnic swiftly drew his sword and took his magical amulet and approached the door slowly and then opened it and saw a slim soldier whose hand was almost cut off and was bloodied. He told Domnic that the Snake army was approaching and had killed every soldier guarding the walls and were on their way. Dominic then told Maria the maidservant to take him in and treat him. James then took his sword and followed his father on his horse.

"Where are we going to?" James asked his father. "Warfleck academy your school" He shouted. James could hear the sound of commotion from afar.

After about 50 minutes, they finally arrived and the academy was filled with a lot of teenagers many of which were not even soldiers because the school was for training soldiers. James's father then took him to Zoriah's office at the top of the building. It is a dimly lit office with a candle burning on his table and some medals of war on his table.

Zoriah who is a pale skinned man who looked a bit young for his age with gray beards he made to braids was drumming his fingers on his table when they arrived. "Ah Domnic how are you." "I'm good my brother" He replied. He then took Zoriah aside for some talk. James was examining the office when Cletus walked in with Joy and Dorcas. Cletus and James hugged each other. Cletus was about the same height with James but a bit more attractive with silver hair and Joy was short with red hair and a scar on her neck caused by a wild cat. Dorcas was pretty tall and had a good shape with blue eyes and jet black hair. James saw joy and then he went to kiss her. The four of them then started discussing about the attack. Cletus then told them that they might have to stay in the school because it was the safest place in the country. They were still discussing when Domnic and Zoriah walked in. Domnic then told them that they were going to stay in the school for as long as the attack would last. He then left with Zoriah who dropped lots of fruits for them.
