"Miss Xie have you approved the leave we told you about", Mian asked standing in front of Xie Yurin
"I understand that both of you have to go see your old man but why for two months, how will I handle things here without you", Xie Yurin said to Mian
"We have to go Miss Xie, we have handed over our duties to our secretaries so our work won't be left undone", Lifei said annoyed
"Okay, I will approve it. You can leave tomorrow", Xie Yurin said reluctantly
"Okay", Mian and Lifei replied and walked out of her office
"Why did this two have to take a leave now, there is so much work to handle but if I beg them to stay it will seem like I can't handle the company without them. Chen Lihua's six months plan with which we were running the company has expired and the shareholders are now on my neck, I have to find a way to bring more money into the company and stop our leaving artists or else they are going to remove me, why did this two have to leave now of all times, to make it worse even Ting is not here. Aaahh" Xie Yurin yelled angrily throwing away the vase on her table.
"Ma'am are you alright?", her secretary asked running into her office when she heard the noise
"Did I say anything was wrong with me, Get Out", Xie Yurin growled angrily and the poor Secretary scrammed out in fear.
"Zixi, Ming", Lifei and Mian shouted running towards the entrance of the airport
"Welcome", Zixi smiled brightly and collected their bags
"Ming, is it true President Chen woke up. I still can't believe it", Lifei asked looking excitedly at Xi Ming sitting beside her.
"Yes she did and not just you none of us can still believe it", Xi Ming said and smiled all of them had already given up hope of Chen Lihua ever waking up.
"But Sister Mian, you two were meant to be here in two more days, why did you come earlier" Chen Zixi asked looking at the road in front of him
"We had thought that Xie Yurin was going to reject our leave application but I guess she didn't dare to" Lifei said and the three ladies laughed but soon stopped when they noticed Chen Zixi's tightly squeezed knuckles on the steering wheel. Lifei who was sitting beside him put her hand on his and gently rubbed it
"You are not the only one Zixi, we all hate Xie Yurin and Mo Ting as much as you do and we would have had them pay for what they did by now, but only President Chen has the right to punish them not us",
"But I really want to kill those two with my bare hands", Chen Zixi gritted his teeth and said with red eyes
"Calm down Zixi, the two of them and everyone else involved has a hefty price to pay and they will definitely pay it", Mian said and Zixi finally calmed down, a while later they got to the bungalow.
"Aunt Mishi, Grandpa", Lifei yelled from outside the door
"Hey Lifei welcome my dear", Xi Mishi said coming out of the kitchen and hugged her tighty
"How are you aunt", Mian smiled brighly at her and Xi Mishi moved to hug her as well
"Well I have been fine except for the fact that I missed you two", Xi Mishi replied with a happy smile.
"Come in why are you still standing at the door", Xi Ming said pulling their bags with her
"Ouch", Lifei yelled when she felt a painful hit on her back and she didn't have to turn to know who did it.
"Grandpa, its hurts", Lifei yelled in pain
"Oh so you know how to feel pain", Master Qin snorted unhappily and stood sternly in front of Lifei his hands gripping his walking stick tightly
"Grandpa I...",
"Keep quiet you insolent brat, you completely forgot about this old man, is this how you pay your filial piety", Master Qin yelled his chest heaving up and down
"Calm down Grandpa, come have a seat", Mian said and helped the old man to seat.
"Grandpa I am sorry", Lifei apologized her eyes turning misty with tears, she knew she was wrong for not asking about her grandfather often
"Thank goodness I had Zixi, Ming and Mishi with me or I would have been alone here",
"Sorry Grandpa, it was because everyone was here with you that I didn't bother but I know I was really wrong am still your only biological grandchild after all. Sorry Grandpa please forgive me. Please", Lifei apologized already weeping, her grandfather was the only family member she had left after her parents passed away fifteen years ago and she didn't want him to be angry with her.
"Please forgive Lifei Grandpa, we were always extremely busy so we didn't really have enough space to ourselves let alone check up on our relatives. Please forgive us Grandpa we promise to make the necessary amendments", Mian added also kneeling in front of the old man.
"U hmm, I don't care if you make the amendments or not. I will stop bothering about you now, earlier I had only you now see my whole house is filled with people" Master Qin snorted and calmly relaxed on his chair. Lifei looked at him and smiled, her grandfather have always had a stubborn personality and he was never really good with words, his statement already indicated he had forgiven her even if he wasn't willing to talk to her anymore, pacifying his anger was already good she would gradually melt his heart again.
"Aiyo, why is the environment so tense. Ming come with me let's make snacks and lunch for everyone", Xi Mishi said and entered the kitchen with Xi Ming.
"Aunt Lifei, Aunt Mian", Little Yingbao shouted running down the stairs
"Calm down girlfriend or you might fall", Zixi said running to pick her up
"Oh look at our little baby", Lifei and Mian smiled happily collecting the little girl from Zixi
"Aunt Lifei, Yingbao missed you a lot", Yingbao said excitedly pecking Lifei's cheeks
"What of me Yingbao, did you only miss Lifei", Mian asked pouting her lips to the girl
"I missed you too aunt Mian, don't be jealous. Here I will give you a kiss too" Yingbao said pecking Mian's lips as well and everyone in the room burst into laughter.
"We brought you lot of toys and gifts Yingbao. Wanna check them out", Lifei said with a smile and the little girl nodded her head frantically.
"Yes aunt Lifei, wanna check wanna check",
"Okay, go open the pink box. Everything in there belongs to you", Mian said and the Yingbao jumped down from Lifei's hands and ran to the boxes in the living hall.
"Zixi can we meet President Chen now", Mian asked her expression turning all serious
"We just fed her lunch and she has gone to sleep now", Zixi replied and Lifei nodded
"Alright then let's not disturb her we will see her when she wakes up" Lifei said looking anxious
"I really don't know how we are going to tell her everything that has happened in the last six months, will she be able to take the shock" she added looking between Mian and Zixi
"President Chen isn't so weak Lifei, the both of us know that very well and we have to tell her everything sooner or later, why postpone it then", Mian said to them
"I am equally as worried especially after I saw how she reacted to the news of her paralysis, I just want my sister to be safe",
"She will be fine Zixi, come Lifei lets go shower so we can come down for lunch, I am famished", Mian said rubbing her stomach and Zixi and Lifei laughed
"Come let's go then", Lifei replied and they both went upstairs carrying their bags with them.
A while later everyone was gathered at the dining table for lunch, they chatted while eating and the atmosphere was harmonious.
"Mom, Aunt Lihua is awake", Yingbao shouted from upstairs and everyone at the dining table looked at each other, it was now or never.
