Friend or Foe?

"Don't make me laugh. You're going to untie ME?" after this a pillar of fire burst through a small clearing. Anything nearby had run away or went into hiding for the forest went completely silent. The only sound was Pheonix's unnaturally shakey breathing . "Hunt might be too strong of a word. I really don't want to fight you." the dragon landed right in front of the man and looked him in the eyes. "Then why are you here?" Pheonix, on the verge of having a panic attack says, "I want to be your friend. I feel like we would work well together." The dragon looks at him for a minute seeming to be thinking about the offer.

A few seconds passed by and the dragon clears his throat and answers. " We would work well together maybe, but humans and dragons being friends will never happen. If you aren't here to fight, then leave." The dragon is about to take off before a voice sounding completely different, more confident, shouts "Wait dont go yet!" The dragon stops and he feels a little kicking in his side. "I'm lost can you fly me to the closest village?" The dragon agrees but only for this one time.
