Chapter 21 Precious Moment

"What are you doing, Lily!" snapped Mrs. Jiang at her favourite granddaughter, who was getting hard to control. The woman exited the car and stood not far from Jiang Lily.

The behaviour of a beautiful woman she had been so proud of seemed increasingly absurd. For whatever reason, Jiang Lily became so haughty and seemed arrogant to other.

Mrs. Jiang was deliberately strict with her granddaughter. She didn't want Jiang Lily to become a rude and disrespectful woman. All of that was done just for the good of her favourite granddaughter.

"I'm going to the company with Aaron, Grandma. I hope Grandma doesn't prolong this bad behaviour." Jiang Lily was precious if her grandmother would forgive all her bad behaviour. Going against Mrs. Jiang was undoubtedly not the best choice.

"What are you apologizing to grandma for? If you're sorry, apologize to Aaron!" Mrs. Jiang snapped at her granddaughter.

Not caring about Jiang Lily's previous rejection, Mrs. Jiang was trying to get her granddaughter to be nice to Aaron. She was sure that the two of them would be reliable in the future.

Regardless, Aaron Liu and Jiang Lily looked good together. There was a little hope tucked inside Mrs. Jiang's heart. However, she was still not too sure about it.

"What! Should I apologize to him?" Jiang Lily seemed unwilling to say sorry to a man who happened to be standing not far from the car.

"Grandma doesn't want to force you, Lily. It's your choice; if nothing else, I'll leave now." Mrs. Jiang got into the car. She pretended not to care about her granddaughter. "Let's go, Aaron!" She called pretty convincingly.

"Wait a minute!" I don't know what kind of courage, but Jiang Lily tried to stop Aaron Liu from getting into the car.

She couldn't possibly go against her grandmother just for the sake of her ego. Jiang Lily stared at Aaron Liu, who also stared fixedly at her. She was baffled and at a loss for words to apologize to the man in front of her.

A few minutes passed, and Jiang Lily still held Aaron Liu's hand. She did not want to lose any chance to get another golden opportunity. Jiang Lily could not let go of the company just like that. She couldn't bear to let Mrs. Jiang struggle with the company alone.

"Don't waste time, Aaron! Hurry up and get in!" Mrs. Jiang exclaimed from the car. She could see that her granddaughter felt very heavy and unwilling to apologize.

"Wait, Grandma. Just give me two minutes!" Jiang Lily sounded a little pleading this time. She didn't want her grandmother to give her any chance at all.

Eliminating all ego within her, Jiang Lily seemed to be taking a breath before saying a word. She looked so hesitant but also couldn't avoid anything.

In the car, Mrs. Jiang had to hold back a smile. She was very confident that Jiang Lily would accept Aaron Liu. Sooner or later, the two of them would be perfect working partners for each other.

"I'm sorry, Aaron. I've been very rude to you. I hope we can work well together." Jiang Lily extended her hand, wanting to make a good impression on her grandmother and hoping that Aaron Liu would welcome a handshake that would signify they were becoming working partners.

"I hope I can help you, Miss." In a quick motion, Aaron Liu shook hands with Jiang Lily. The two of them were excellent pair of co-workers.

A moment that Mrs. Jiang had to capture. With a swift movement, the old lady grabbed her cell phone and took a picture of them. It was a new beginning and would show a significant change.

Without thinking, Mrs. Jiang got out of the car again. She walked over to her granddaughter. Throwing a warm and meaningful look at her only family figure.

"Happy work! Starting today, I hope that you two will help each other build our company." Mrs. Jiang said to her new partner.

"Thank you for your trust, Grandma. I hope that Grandma will still be willing to guide me," Aaron Liu said hopefully.

There wasn't much he could do; he just hoped that Mrs. Jiang would help him become an excellent assistant to Jiang Lily.

It wasn't a big deal, and Mrs. Jiang was pretty sure that Aaron Liu could manage everything. The man looked quite capable and was certainly very polite towards others.

"You can ask Jiang Lily directly. If my granddaughter doesn't want to help you, contact grandma directly." Although the sentence sounded so gentle, it actually contained a no-play threat to Jiang Lily. Mrs. Jiang deliberately slipped a veiled intention into her words.

"Does Grandma trust and love Aaron that much? How could you defend him more?" It was too difficult for Jiang Lily to understand that. The strange man who came into her life had ruined everything. Unfortunately, she couldn't put up any resistance at all. How heartbreaking!
