Betrayal

Whiro woke up to find Kira close to him and he thought to himself that it was nice to be with someone.

The two got along really well and she knows the situation Whiro is in.

They're both prepping to set out to find clues about the witch.

On the time they were ready Whiro turned 4 yrs old and is now capable enough to move around without running out of stamina and dozing off.

He can stay up to 14 hrs and is now 4 ft tall which is a tad taller than a regular 4 year old.

Whiro created a spacial bag made of special leather from the witch's inventory and he also asked the chimera's to watch the gate for them.

Not only that he created metal golems to stand watch for extra measures.

So their first destination is outside the forest back to the surface.

Kira has a special pocket on Whiro's bag and this is where she stays.

It transport Kira to another dimension big enough to be a room. It is custom made so that Kira can have her own inventory.

Whiro mastered the art of building from one of the books they have at the witch's house.

He also learned a thing or two from Kira and Kira learned to some extent that she can use shadow magic.

Shadow magic can only be used by beings that has dark affinity. It can manipulate shadow in any way shape or form. It can use to enter hallucinations, transport, camouflage and body control, it is also used as a stealth for infiltration and retreating.

This is how they traveled out and it took them less than 10 minutes to reach river.

And when they get to the ravine, Whiro used 'teleport' while glaring at the top of the mountain.

From there he grabbed dirt and water to disguise himself as a poor orphan who is stranded at the road with nowhere to go.

He paced his walk so that it can look like he's weak.

Moments later a carriage stopped right in front of Whiro.

The door opened and the man asked if he's okay.

Whiro responded with sarcasm "I'm alright" .

The man in the carriage asked "do you want to ride with us to the next city?".

Whiro then looked him right in the eye and said "I don't have anything" and continued to walk.

The carriage slowly followed him while the man is sticking out his head from the carriage.

"It's okay kid you can take a ride with us, it's on me."

Whiro then managed to hitch a ride to the closest city.

During the whole ride Whiro did not say anything and sat there quietly.

This made it so he won't build any form of relationship to the people on that carriage.

When they got to the city Whiro left and walked around to start his investigation.

The only problem is Whiro don't have common sense when it comes to outside world that includes his past life.

He is walking around carefree not knowing what might come to his way.

Around the night time Whiro stopped and stayed on the plaza.

Plaza is the center of the town similar to a shopping district, without the actual shops.

As he was sitting on the bench prepping to sleep an old lady walked up to him and asked "are you alone?".

Whiro looked around and gave her blank stare. She then sat beside him and told him a story.

"I had a grandchild just like you".

Whiro kept his guard and didn't say anything.

She told him to be careful and be safe then left.

Whiro then left the plaza and went outside the city to rest especially because he's not familiar with the place.

He set up his place and Kira is guarding him since she had plenty of rest.

The next day he went back to city and asked around about a woman with dark messy hair that looks like she's in her 40s. It's the only description he have of her. But apparently that wasn't the case there because most of them are blondes.

He posted up in the plaza again to take a break and the grandma found him.

She went to waving at Whiro while approaching him.

She asked if he's hungry and Whiro remained silent and ignored the old lady.

The old lady then left and said her goodbyes to him. For four days he went back and forth into the city hoping that there might be a clue.

Then one day as he's making his way back into the city he saw the old lady with a bunch of suspicious people.

He then stopped and assessed the situation but due to his lack of experience, he kept on going and walking towards the city.

The people started to get close to him and it seemed that they're the townsfolk armed up.

They started closing in fast towards Whiro.

One of them started yelling "chase that devil".

Some of them started shooting arrows.

Whiro is confused on what is happening.

Whiro didn't put up a fight and got caught.

He's a mere 4yr old and yet the whole town is accusing him of being a devil.

Whiro got hit the back with arrow barely penetrating his flesh but it still latched on his back. One of the men threw his axe and hit Whiro in the head and all he had is cut but it didn't destroy his skull. He is bleeding tremendously in the head and they finally caught him.

They restrained him without any effort and started dragging Whiro to the plaza.

The townsfolk started talking about how he's the son of the female devil.

Whiro heard this and finally realized who they are talking about.

At this moment Whiro is in the middle of a big pile of wood and there's a few of them with torches.

Then the old lady came out from the crowd wearing a priestess clothing.

She is the head of a church called the 'Pantheon'

The pantheon is known for doing mass executions and corrupting the system.

She then announced that he's related to the one they're hunting. The female devil from tenebris.

Whiro is now certain that the witch is in the surface, wether she's dead or alive, he doesn't know.
