The Rise of Ancients
[Currently being re-edited] Existing in the layered Universe was a vast Athenaeum consisting of eternal knowledge. Legends claimed that the Athenaeum even contained the secret to becoming a god and ascending above the Universal laws. The Ancients were the race that guarded the Athenaeum and the secrets it held. But as the Universe progressed, so did the greed of the civilizations residing within it. The Ancients were schemed and massacred. Just before the death of Aria, the last of the Ancient warriors, the vast Athenaeum fused with his soul and he was reincarnated into the body of a soldier on Planet Earth. Awakening I
From within the portal emerged a giant that emitted a radiance as bright as the sun. The surface of the giant had a white marble sheen with golden patterns throughout. It had a circular head without any sensory organs along with bony arms and legs.
Suddenly, a wave of white light surged from within the portal that accurately moved towards the waist of the giant. As soon it neared the giant, a golden barrier surrounded it. The light destroyed the barrier like glass and lost some of its power, piercing the waist of the giant and blasting a hole in it.
Sparks glittered throughout the giant's body as the golden patterns on it dimmed. Thankfully, the portal behind the giant disappeared along with the wave of light, giving a breath of relief to the giant as it floated aloof and was on the verge of destruction within the darkness of the space.
