7. Evil Plan

Adrian and Kirana turned their heads. A handsome man with deep brown eyes walks up to them. He is Zayn!

"Who are you?" asked Adrian, displeased at being interrupted.

Zayn didn't answer. Instead, he reached out for Kirana to stand up and take him by the hand.

"Get up, and you can't be down at a time like this! Your mother is waiting and needs you now," said Zayn.

"Mom?" Kirana muttered in a low voice. Yes, her mother must be waiting now.

Adrian was annoyed at being ignored. He is curious about the figure of Zayn, who suddenly came. He had never seen Zayn before when he was with Kirana.

"Who are you? Don't interfere in my business with Kirana!" Adrian bluffed.

Adrian did the same with Zayn, holding out his hand. Now there are two hands outstretched to want to help Kirana.

"Come on, Kirana! I'll take you," said Adrian. He hoped that the woman would take his hand.

"You can trust me, Kirana!" Zayn said.

Hearing Zayn's voice, Kirana remembered the person who had helped her last night. She could smell the same perfume as the man's jacket. Kirana was sure that this person was the same person who had helped her after coming home from the beach.

"Do you own that jacket?"

"Yes, Kirana," Zayn replied with a nod.

Kirana took Zayn's hand and stood holding onto Zayn. They then left without paying attention to Adrian, who was stunned by their departure.

"Oh shit!" Adrian clenched his fists and punched his car. Kirana prefers to go with strangers than him. Adrian decides to follow Kirana out of curiosity and feels angry after being ignored.

Kirana and Zayn arrived in front of the Hermawan family's house. The house was already crowded with relatives and colleagues.

"Daddy!" Kirana was hysterical when she got out of the car and ran into the house.

She saw his father lying, lifeless. His face was pale but peaceful. Kirana was left by her father forever.

"Dad, why would you leave us?" Kirana lamented, hugging her father's corpse.

Ratih came and hugged Kirana, trying to calm her daughter down. "We have to let him go. He's calmed down."

Adrian, who had arrived at Hermawan's house, was surprised when he saw Hermawan's death. There was regret and sadness in his heart. Hermawan's figure, who was so kind and loving, made an impression on his heart from long ago until the conflict between them occurred.

Ferdian and Julia learned of the news of Hermawan's death from Adrian. Ferdian intended to see his former best friend one last time.

"We don't have to come there. The situation is bad, after all. What if we are humiliated there? We've already cut ties with them." Julia forbade Ferdian to come.

Ferdian agreed with what his wife said. Now that they will never have anything to do with the Hermawan family again, Adrian and Kirana's engagement is over, and most importantly, the company belongs to him.

At the funeral, Kirana couldn't stop crying in her mother's arms. Adrian and Zayn were still there. Adrian occasionally looked at Zayn, who was looking at Kirana from a distance. He didn't like the situation and felt jealous of the stranger. Adrian decided to approach Zayn.

"You didn't answer when I asked you a question," Adrian asked, already beside Zayn.

"You'll find out later," Zayn replied.

"How well do you know Kirana and her family?"

"Why do you want to know about that? Aren't you related to Kirana anymore?" Zayn asked back.

Adrian answered. "She and I love each other."

Zayn smiled sarcastically at Adrian's answer. He finally turned his head, looking at Adrian.

"Love each other, you say? Fuck you! If you love each other, why did you marry another woman and dump Kirana? Are you sure Kirana still loves you?"

"She is pregnant with my child. Our bond will not end even if I am married to another woman." Adrian started to get angry.

"You are so confident. Do you think Kirana still wants to be with you after disowned the baby? Kirana is still very precious for you to dump."

"Who are you?" asked Adrian, even more, curious because Zayn knew so much about Kirana.

"You're so curious. Okay, I'll tell you this!" Zayn stepped closer to Adrian. "I am the person who will always be near Kirana, who will wipe her tears, help her rise from adversity, and help her forget you. If necessary, I will be the father to her child! So I hope you don't get in my way." Zayn said firmly.

Adrian's eyes flashed with anger at Zayn's words. "Please take her! I don't like the used things that I throw away," Adrian reproached, clenching his fists.

Of course, it wasn't a word that came from his heart. He said it because he felt jealous and his ego rivaled.

"With pleasure. I can't wait to have fun with Kirana. Wouldn't it be better if you went back now? Your wife must be waiting for you," Zayn replied.

Adrian left Zayn, who was smiling contentedly at him. His chest rumbled with anger, rage, and annoyance all rolled into one.

Adrian returns to his parent's house. When he arrived, he saw his parents and Angel relaxing, even looking happy.

"Why did Papa and Mama not attend Uncle Hermawan's funeral?" asked Adrian.

"We have nothing to do with them anymore," answered Julia.

"At least you can show empathy when they are in trouble."

"Bro, why are you still discussing them? Wouldn't it be good if Uncle Hermawan died? It means that nothing will interfere with Papa's steps in the company, right?" Angel replied to Adrian's words.

"You're right, honey!" replied Julia happily.

"You have no heart," said Adrian. He left them and went straight into the bedroom by closing the door with a bang.

"Oh my gosh, I'm shocked! What's wrong with him?" Julia was surprised to hear the sound of Adrian's door closing.

Meanwhile, Ferdian didn't say anything. He pretended to open the computer screen, but his mind was elsewhere.

"Maybe Adrian is the problem with Sintia." Angel tried to guess Adrian's attitude.

"Those newlyweds can't possibly fight, and this must have something to do with Kirana. This afternoon, he left the office with that woman?" Julia said anxiously.

"Maybe Adrian already knew Kirana was pregnant, and the woman asked him to be responsible."

Julia was silent, and she started plotting evil intentions for Kirana. "The child in Kirana's womb must die so as not to interfere with Adrian and his wife's relationship!" she muttered.

Meanwhile, Sintia was annoyed because she tried several times to contact Adrian, but there was no answer. She finally contacted her mother-in-law, Julia.

"Mom, is Adrian there? He didn't answer my calls at all," asked Sintia when Julia answered the phone.

"Yeah, he's here. You don't have to worry! Are you two quarrel? He's coming in angry."

"No. We're fine. Adrian just can't be reached."

"This must have something to do with Kirana!"

"Kirana?"

"I'm planning something for her so she doesn't interfere with your relationship again."

"What's that?" asked Sintia curiously.

Julia then tells Sintia of her evil plan. The daughter-in-law who heard that smiled with satisfaction and said, "Okay, I will follow Mama's plan."

"Remember, this is only a secret between the two of us!" said Julia warning her daughter-in-law.
