Marcius urged his familiar wolf to speed up as he eyed the fleeing victims in front of him. Currently, he was chasing down yet another group of enemies who were running away in disarray.
His little group of most elite warriors and the cavalry had proven to be more effective than Marcius had hoped.
With the increased mobility of the small regiment, since all of the troops under Marcius's current command were warriors of a higher caliber or had mounts, the bandit hunting of the day was progressing really well.
The aid from nearly a dozen scouting drones flying and surveying the terrain of the land from above also helped quite a lot. All Marcius had to do was to look through the eyes of his drones by watching the screen of the tablet in his hand, and then point his small army in the right direction. It was quite an effective method.
