Beth couldn't believe her eyes that she was seeing Scarlet standing in the same shop as her with a woman who shared a resemblance to the princess, but that was impossible. Why would the princess be walking around with Scarlet?
It further angered Beth to see the workers run around the shop to grab dresses to show to Scarlet. Then one of them brought a chair for Scarlet to sit on.
"Why are they treating her like she's royalty?" Beth questioned, annoyed with the workers. She should have received the same treatment since she was going to marry Jack. "They don't deserve my money."
Beth thought this was a shop that would have treated her well because of what she heard about it, but it was evident that all the praises it received were for nothing. "She must own it."
