Lady Florence Peterson just stepped out from her second daughter room as she wasn't happy with how Amelia had kept a sullen face about Dan's behavior towards her. As she knew once a male lord started behaving wierd on his first encounter with his arranged mate, it simply meant he didn't wanted his arranged mate, And Lady Florence didn't wanted Amelia to suffered in the name or marriage.

Lady Florence stepped out into the wide passage on the second floor, and thought to spoked to her husband about reconsidering his idea of having Amelia married off to Dan, as Lady Florence knew once Amelia has officially been marked as Dan's mate, it would be very difficult for Amelia to remarry any other wealthy werewolf in the park, if Amelia's marriage with Dan eventually crashed.

But as Lady Florence was thinking on the best possible way to explained to her husband and to convinced him, whom was the Alpha of Apples Pack as they had Grapes Packs and Banana Packs, where she knew Dan had connections with, as she has heard from gossip mongers after late Matteo Anderson death, That Lady Michelle Anderson was from Banana Packs, And at Banana Packs once a female werewolf was marked and mated to a male lord, it was extremely forbidden for the female werewolf to remarry, even after her mate had passed away.

The Banana Packs were more strict with their custom and practice that a female werewolf cannot cheat on her mate, except she would be killed and she sighed as she saw a maid standing in front of her first daughter's room and also yelling at Julianne, "What do you stand there staring at?! Collect it at once, Useless!."

Lady Florence jaw dropped at the level of utterance the maid had to yelled at her first daughter which such level of disregard in front of her, and if it wasn't that she was the one whom truly birthed Julianne, she could have just ignored the maid and walked passed them, as Julianne truly brought shame upon them for not being a complete she-wolf.

But unable to bear the insult as the maid didn't only insulted Julianne, but also disrespected her too, Lady Florence approached Julianne's room door, just as Julianne shaking hands collected the tray from Nana whom also wore the white and pink maid uniform with black shoes, And as Lady Florence approached Nana, She smacked Nana hard across her face.

Lady Florence dragged Nana away roughly, but at the sound of the thunderous slap, Julianne frightened and loosen gripped of the tray of her meal in her hands, which fell to the ground, As a result of fear as her mother gripped Nana and started dragging Nana away.

Dragging Nana from her room entrance door and started beating Nana whom screamed, "Please My Lady forgive!."

"Shut up!" Lady Florence yelled as she slapped Nana again and again, and finally dragged Nana away.

Pausing to stared back at Julianne, as the tray of meal had fallem off from Julianne's hand, Lady Florence brown eyes narrowed and she spoked, "Clear the mess at once and go serve another meal."

"Yes mother" Julianne shivered in fret as she replied, And she immediately bent to clear the mess of her food that had fallen off from her hand, While Lady Florence dragged Nana away and took her downstairs even as Nana cried out for mercy

Lady Florence walked into the grand hall still holding Nana roughly and Alpha Gregs Peterson stood with Beta Marcus Colt as he was waiting for the rest of the Apples Packs elders to arrived, and he stared to his wife in shocked.

"What has she done?" Alpha Gregs asked as he was in an elated mood knowing that Dan has finally acknowledged one of his proposal and Lady Florence breathed out her seized anger as she knew both herself and husband were also at fault too.

But for the fact that Nana boldly insulted Julianne to her face, she wanted Nana punished, And so she spoked, "Nana messed up and she needs to be punished. Guards!."

"Please My lady.." Nana tried to begged.

"Shut up!" Lady Florence landed Nana another multiple slaps and said, "This will serve as a grave lesson to you, not to utter any gibberish about Apples Packs Alpha nor his children again."

"Take her out!" Lady Florence handed over crying Nana to two hefty guards that stepped in, and they bundled Nana away, while the head of the guards, James Black, walked up to meet her.

"Madame what should we do to her?" James asked, as he subtly bowed, While Lady Florence dusted her both palms as she felt irritated for having to touched Nana and also slapped her.

"Discipline her. Twelve strokes of the cane on her buttocks. That will teach her to tame her mouth" Lady Florence replied, as she shifted her gazed to the rest of the castle maids standing and staring to her in shocked, having withnessed the scene, And Lady Florence questioned them, "What're you all still standing there and doing? Get back to your duties at once."

"Yes my lady" The female servants immediately ran away and went back to cleaning the dinning table and other corners of Alpha Gregs Castle, While James bowed and walked away, going out to informed the guards on what to do to Nana.

Lady Florence turned to walked away without uttering any word to her husband, and Alpha Gregs sighed as he stood with Beta Marcus whom had an expressionless look on his face.

"So as I was saying.." Alpha Gregs resumed his conversation with Beta Marcus as his wife took the stairs and angrily left them.

"Dan has officially acknowledged my invitation for him to mark Amelia as his mate. This call for a huge celebration" Alpha Gregs spoked, as he acted like nothing had just happened in his presence before, knowing it wasn't the first time his wife was disciplining any of their maids.

"That's good news Alpha. But don't you think is best we wait for Dan and Amelia to officially wed first, before we proceed with the celebration. As from what I heard from my daughter, Nora Colt, whom is also friends with Amelia. She told me that Dan is more aloof when it came to women and so far they hadn't seen him with any she-wolf yet, neither had he hosted any prostitute" Beta Marcus spoked and Alpha Gregs frowned.

"That's why it has to be celebrated, so that way it will be official and Dan won't be able to back out from marking Amelia as his mate either" Alpha Gregs said.

"And what if Dan refuses to mark Amelia?. What if Amelia isn't his mate?. Don't forget that Dan shares same blood as Banana Packs, and they are more focus on finding true mate or staying faithful to their mate" Beta Marcus stated and Alpha Gregs frowned..

"Same thing am talking about Marcus. Once it official Dan won't be able to back down and he will have no other option than to mark Amelia and that way we will invite him to join our cabinet members."

"Hmm.." Beta Marcus stood speechless as he watched some of the elders arriving for the packs meeting, as the ground floor of Alpha Gregs Castle was also used as a meeting hall by their packs elders.

"If that's how you want it Alpha, I will be looking forward to the ceremony" Beta Marcus finally replied and Alpha Gregs smiled.

"No you're talking." Alpha Gregs stares back to the elders arriving and entering into the hall, While he stood waiting with Beta Marcus for most of their pack elders to arrived, so he could officially announced the news to them.

Julianne was thru cleaning up her room door that she had spilled her breakfast and just as she was thru mopping the tiled floor to looked cleaned, her mother arrived and cast a look of disdain on her, while she bowed her head lowered.

"If only you had your wolf and can shapeshifted like every others, all these insult won't be happening to you. But you choose to be useless, a disgrace and I shouldn't have hurted Nana instead for your sake, as you don't worth. Hm.." Lady Florence walked away, clicking her shoes sharply to the tiled marble floor, and she took the next flight of stairs on her right side going upstairs to her room on the third floor, as her room, husband and also Richard's rooms were at the above floor of Alpha Gregs castle, while Julianne frowned..
