Start of a journey

Drake stood in front of the chief as he was currently getting severely berated by the old man at the moment. The chief yelled at him,"You could have easily destroyed the energy in your body! What the hell were you thinking?!"

Drake sighed and said,"Truthfully master, I was blinded by power when the idea to fuse the two abilities popped into my head. My only thought at the time was 'what would happen if these two energies could combine?'. I decided to stake everything on this idea because I felt it was necessary! When I formed the blood pact with my new spear, I also gained a new skill, it was a skill called 'Energy Manipulator', it was a rare skill that I was going to throw out or sell. However after the final thrust I had an epiphany and immediately learned the skill! If that skill did not pop up I would never have attempted such a dangerous act!"

The chief didn't say anything for a long time and Drake didn't dare try to say anything else. Finally he said,"Huhh… fine, as long as you're alright I guess it doesn't matter. Anyways, now that you are sufficiently powered up, what are you planning to do?"

Drake smiled and said,"Master, sometimes I swear you can read my mind!" The chief chuckled and motioned for Drake to continue. Drake did so by saying,"I am going to start my journey tomorrow"

The chief sighed and said,"I expected as much, I'm guessing you can't tell me everything due to the curse right?"

Drake had not thought about this and he smiled and an even wider grin as Eco relayed a new modified story into his head. He started slowly by saying,"Yes, that is correct. I will return when I have reached level 100."

The chief was a little shocked and said,"S-so, you're going to be gone for over 5 years eh? That's a bummer, you will be missed my disciple."

Drake chuckled and said,"No master, I will return in a maximum of a year and half. However, I do have two requests for you"

The chief was curious and said,"A year and half? Hmm.. Ok.. I am intrigued, what are your requests?"

Drake responded,"Number one, if you get called by the king in about a year, don't ignore it, you'll know why when it happens."

The chief scoffed and said,"Fine! I do not like politics and the royal family but if it is because of my student I will be there! What is the second!"

Drake looked at his master and stood up from the knee he had taken. The chief was a bit surprised as Drake never broke his stance, not once since he had met him. Drake then said,"In approximately 1 year, I estimate that at least 3 races will come to this village. They are the Elves, the Orcs and a third race I have not yet Identified! My request to the honored elder chief, is to harbor these other races until the 'Event' happens. Please Master! You have to promise me!"

The chief was a little taken aback and so he said,"I see.. For you to be this passionate about it, I will take your claims seriously as you are a man of justice and a man of truth as you have vowed. I, Isaiah the Master, allow my successor Drake Silver to go on a journey to fulfill a promised outcome! I agree to the requests the successor has made!"

Drake took a knee again and said,"Thank you master! I will repay this debt!" The chief didn't say anything and went to check on Ariana and Fern.

Drake and Loco went back to the hut and Loco asked him once they were inside,"What was all that?"

Drake sighed and said,"Listen, you are my benefactor and I want you to trust me, but there are certain ways I have to deal with situations to make myself seem more favorable to the NPC. However, I can't tell you what I am going to be doing in the next year, I just need you to trust me on this, because I also have a request for you."

Loco leaned forward, his business side taking him over in a moment and said,"What is the request?"

Drake sighed and said,"I need you to create a Superguild."

Loco went slackjaw when he heard Drake say that. Loco asked in a shocked voice,"How do I do that?!"

Drake smiled and said,"First, try to get Germaine, Istria, and Jacklyn Santana as your vice-masters. They should be just starting the game,"Drake continues on as he listens to Eco once more,"So make a post on the general forum officially inviting them to the creation of your guild. Make them want to be with you, as you know the Santana family only cares about power, so think of something tempting."

Loco sat there for a moment and thought about it. After about two minutes of silence from the two Loco said,"I can do it, But I need the footage from earlier today where you made the explosion."

Drake smiled and said,"Not a problem!"

The chief and Drake were looking at each other and the chief simply said,"You are the best student I have ever had, I cannot wait to see the man you become in the future! Stay safe!"

Drake nodded as he and Loco walked down the path away from the village once more and heard all the villagers cheering for his safety. Drake smiled and walked while thinking about how much he adored this small little town. Drake sighed, because unfortunately it wouldn't stay quiet for long and he was on a time limit.

He and Loco got up to the diverging paths and Drake said,"This is where we part ways, my friend. You know what you need to do right?"

Loco nodded his head and said,"I have a grasp on the situation. But still your definition of 'Super Guild' is pretty extreme, but I will give my utmost as your friend, rival and ally." Drake and Loco said goodbye to each other and Drake went on the path leading the west and Loco went to the North.

Drake sighed as he genuinely enjoyed Loco as a companion but this mission of his would contain highly sensitive information and he would need to play with the rules he had previously set up too much for anyone who knew him.

Drake called out,"General, are you there?"

General responded with,"Of course my lord"

Drake said,"Any suggestions on which camp I should target first?"

General made an audible sigh in his mind and said,"I believe the Orcs are the closest to your current level and will give you the best performance right now. However, the forest that surrounds them is very dangerous to even level 50 adventurers. I can't say anything about the elves and the third choice either. Both of those you would need to be at least level 75. That is my suggestion to you my lord!"

Drake took the words as the most likely answer and brought out a map of his current position. Drake said out loud,"Ok, according to my speed and the sidequests that I will need to do this should only take me a year if nothing goes wrong!" Drake then said,"Shit, now I'm cursed. Why did I even say that?"

Drake shook his head and headed out to complete his goal. General then notified him,"Master, there is a kobold den ahead. Wolf-type and they are around level 35."

Drake smirked and said,"Let's go pay them a visit shall we? This is the start of the grind to level 50!

Loco walked for about an hour and then stopped in front of a cliff's edge, noticing the beauty and power of mother nature herself in this scene Loco decided that this place was as good as any, He summoned his live recorder and stood in front of the magnificent view of the mountains behind him. He started his livestream to the forums.

Loco stood there for a moment as more people started to flood in, Loco smiled as he had purposefully sent out a message on the forum that the top player was looking for a few individuals. If it was them, how could they miss out on this chance? So after only a few minutes of the stream being up, Loco already had 2k people waiting for the announcement.

Loco finally said,"Welcome all, I have come before you today with two announcements. Announcement 1, Effective Immediately I will be starting the process of creating a guild, but not just any guild, but a super guild made up of the elites of the elites! As they say, Greatness next to trash will always look better, only when it is greatness next the greatness can one truly behold the marvels of true power!!"

The chat was going crazy at the revelation that the number 2 player in the world just announced that his guild would be better than every guild in the future! The words 'Super Guild' started to trend on the forums.

Loco continued on," Announcement 2, As a personal request from the number one player in the world, I am now announcing that I am looking to have 5 vice generals! I wish for 3 of these slots to be attained by Germaine, Istria, and Jacklyn Santana! Send a personal message if you wish to accept this position!" Loco said, and then he smirked and continued,"and if you don't think that Drake Silver is the number 1 player for a reason, he has given me permission to release his latest power scaling test! Enjoy!" Loco then ended the stream.
