A Mystery II

Storm sighed tiredly withholding herself from slipping down to the floor in weakness and tiredness, every trace of drunkenness in her eyes totally gone. She was beginning to get tired of everything, seeing that she was in the dark about a lot of things.

Had all these been a joke? She thought, sighing again.

Well, at least she knew now that her father had cared for her before he died. Even though he had a funny subtle way of showing that, he still did. Jess' words had just confirmed that.

Howbeit, Rest In Peace, father.

Storm almost scoffed but for the fact that she would alert the typical shameless couple in the bedroom, when she felt a tear slip off her eyes. Good for her dam to turn on at the slightest knowledge that her father might have cared for her well being.

Her thoughts were momentarily forgotten when she heard Jess' next statement.

"Well, the master would have to be more patient with me, till my son, Manuel, comes back."
