The Regressing Villain Returns

I died as the villain. I reincarnated, but wasn't able to take over the body. Turns out, the body I got reincarnated into was the body of the author who created my original world. After that body died, I was finally given control, but I was transmigrated back into my original world. I guess, now, I'm a regressor. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Release Rate: Check the schedule Chapter Length: 1200-1750 words per chapter My chapters are edited by myself, so forgive me if I make any mistakes. The Drunkard (3) - 7

A/N: Alright, we're finally getting into new territory y'all! Sorry for all the confusion in the making of this, and I hope you enjoy!

'Oh, he was actually able to block?'

A little bit surprised that the trash had been able to even see my attack, I launched my next one whilst actually trying, estimating the attack to contain about 10% of my power...

And he was quickly defeated with only the second strike.

"At least you were able to hold on until the second strike." I remarked, looking unconcerned, as I put the wooden sword that I had been using to train back in its sheath on my back.

Then, I walked away, leaving him wallowing in his misery, as he built up all his resentment and anger at himself for being so weak in the face of my power even after 5 years of endless training, using that as his fuel to bring himself to greater hights.

Already feeling the waves of heat undulating off his back, I smiled, knowing that I had sparked a positive change in this world.

At the very least, now, in the future, he would be able to help defend against the other three races.

Now, it was only up to him to decide what he would become in the future.

I had done enough, it was now time to move on to my next subject.

My younger sister, the 9th and final child accepted into House Aeronwen.

But, unknown to most, she was also the 1st child of House Aeronwen, the prodigy that had ascended to heights greater than anyone without even taking the max level talent awakening potion, and my one and only blood relative in the past of this particular life, at least, before the "incident" happened.

And, she was the heroine of the novel, being the only one to reach a level similar to that of the protagonist's, obtaining the opportunity to stand beside him as he stood before the gods.

But, before any of this happened, before she became the companion of the protagonist...

She was the only one to stand by me until my end, the only one I would or could entrust my life to during my hardest times...

She had pulled me out of the abyss of my despair, and had sheltered me after I became a monster in my own right.

She had then continued to support me, as I regained my bearings in this distorted world that I viewed with my own eyes.

Yet, good things never last.

After all she was also the one that betrayed me in the end.

And that was unforgivable.

...

I stood there near the warp gate, feeling nervous for the first time.

The thought of seeing her again brought back a slew of memories, memories that I thought I had forgotten after all this time.

So, instead of thinking about her, I tried to think of something else.

Well, I still thought about her, but, instead of thinking about the memories I had with her back then, I would think about something that was also related to her, but not about the things I didn't want to think about.

In simpler terms, to cope with some memories, I thought about similar things that weren't sad or as sad.

You guys should try it out sometimes, it works a whole lot better than trying to think about something else, because you end up thinking about the sad memory again no matter what.

Anyways, back to my thoughts, I was currently thinking about the backstory of my 9th Sister.

Originally being the 1st Sister, she had been a prodigy among prodigies, completely dominating everything, earning the right to look down on everyone from a higher position.

Yet, she had been ambushed suddenly when coming back into the city from her Odium.

Immediately, our father had called upon a few mages to completely seal her soul, making it so that she wasn't fully dead.

After all, it would be a horrible waste to let a talent like hers leave, and she was his blood daughter after all.

Anyways, his obsession with reviving her was to the point where he actually enlisted the help of mages, the mortal enemy of the Aeronwen Family, which was a sword family, and had begged them to help him.

And finally, after almost two decades, the team that father had put together was able to inject 1st Sister's soul into an unborn fetus.

Thus, 9th Sister came into this world, a conglomeration between two souls actually, with the two souls fusing and becoming one soul.

So, 9th Sister, in reality, was actually a completely new person, technically.

But like, the original soul of the body had never grown, and 1st Sister had infused her whole life into her soul, so...

To put it simply, it was like 1st Sister had gone to sleep and had woken up in another body, just, this new body was a lot more susceptible to a lot of change.

This was actually extremely beneficial, as it meant that 1st Sister could just mold this body into a greater one than her previous one, making it so that all the regrets she had with her old body to become nonexistent in this new life she had been given, as if they had never happened, starting from a blank slate.

She could now build a legacy that would far surpass the legacy of her original body.

And, with all her knowledge from being one of the most powerful in this realm, well, let's just say that it would be very easy for her to climb the power rankings quickly, even if she was laughed at in the process.

But, there was one thing.

I also knew all the techniques that she would use!

'Wait a minute...'

*Ding!* (sfx)

I could obviously use them for myself too, but there was an even better option now that I thought about it!

What if, I took all those opportunities that she would try and get, but then, I gave them to her, so that she owed me!

Marveling at my own geniusness, I smiled on the inside, whilst my face stayed as emotionless as ever on the outside.

Then, it happened.

The warp gate started glowing, as ripples started appearing on its surface.

And then, a pale, slender leg appeared, as "she" stepped through.

A/N: Alright, some statements that I want to make regarding the direction of this novel.

You see, unlike the other ones I've written or am writing, this novel has been fully planned out with the direction of the novel being set in stone and everything, because I had to provide it for the Reaper submission.

That also means, the love interest and everything has already been set in stone.

This is going to be a no harem novel, just saying, and, unlike my other novels, two of the main supporting characters will actually be male.

That's all, just saying all of this just so that y'all know and can drop this novel if you're only reading this novel because you expected it to be the same as my other ones.

Thanks for reading!
