A Feint Hearted Beauty and Cautious Swan

Great Blaze continent, Flowing Light Empire, Dual Mystic Plain.

The triple color pond is a popular private property in the territory of Longevity sect, these days it could be said as a sought after picnic spot for young couples, Elderly and lastly the disciples of longevity sect in longevity town which later build the sect as it core it was the biggest city in Dual Mystical plain.

It was especially so in weekend days in which it was little crowded had a unique ambiguous atmosphere all over the place despite called it pond it could called even small lake as it was very vast and had many exotic species living in them even elders and deacons like to enjoy brief boat ride from time to time.

The clean water doesn't have three or more colors like the name suggests, in fact the solid reason this place gotten such a name lie in different matter altogether a unique bird species migrated here about a century ago and settled down in this pond living their lives in leisure.

The said rare species called tri colored swans by the local inhabitants of the city. They have eye catching but refreshing feathers, this gorgeous birds could be seen swimming here all year around in pairs which considered good omen among couples was very pleasant to look and have romantic air about them for the young couples to spend time here.

It was said that in the entire flowing light Empire there shouldn't be any tri colored swans could be seen as it wouldn't settle down any water body just because it was clean and has plenty of foods they were sensitive towards the atmosphere and energy of heaven and earth very picky about where they live.

This birds were not famous because of their calm nature and beautiful looks but a silly local superstition about how they could bless faithful couples a life of happy love life just like them so people would often try to get along well with this harmless but gorgeous birds.

The pond was so quiet in that early morning gentle breeze that passed by create a small ripple pattern in the stable water, tall trees grown around the pond at certain distance in arranged manner, lush grasses adorned the ground like emerald carpet.

The mild temperature that felt here dispite just being early morning and slight mist above the pond created a breath taking scenery and perfect climate that could capture attention of anyone for few breaths at least.

Though it could be said today was exception at least for certain someone, who was agitated about something the scenery couldn't sooth their annoyance in the least. an exasperated sigh echoed in the calm pondside with a light yawn a pretty looking teenage girl plopped herself up from the silk blanket casually reached out and picked up a small wooden box nearby she had to stretch herself little and lazily strode towards the peaceful lake.

Her sea green eyes looked towards a certain direction then around the pond frowningly, she couldn't spot a single tri colored swans around this time, they didn't follow any pattern but choosed to swimming around the pond on their whim so she was little disappointed.

She frowned little as she looking at the box in her hand then she scrutinized the bushes and shore across and near by trees for the lazy birds but caught none of in her sight as the mist further hinder her sight she sighed 'What a nice day' she sarcasticly thought to herself.

Exasperated and frustrated by something she pursed her lips and made a weird noise that was somehow come out like a musical clucking sound a similar but more sharp sound escaped from the other side with a flapping of wings accompanied she could now see a single tri color swan curiously come out of the misty side with elegant swimming.

Her eyes lit up as she hurriedly imitated the noise once again with her eyes sparkling trying to catch it attention the swans sharp intelligence eyes locked onto her eyes then the glint dimmed abruptly as it seems completely lost interest as it slowed down it's advance stared at her with blank stare.

High spirited unaware of this subtle changes the red haired girl with see green eyes kneeled near the pond gently flapped her palms on the water eagerly signaling it to come towards her the swan gave her a strange look still didn't show any interest in going there.

Unfortunately for the girl who trying very hard to get it's attention it simply Floted in the water totally ignoring her, after few minutes of effort she dissapointedly took out the box and picked out a orange gem that has small size similar to that of a pearl.

This time she put her palm into water with a strange item the swan finally looked over seemed interested but still didn't come towards her "Little thing come to big sister" she cooed in soft pleasant voice "See, see what I brought for you? I have many other good things as well come let this little miss pet you little" she was all smiles her eyes narrowed in happiness.

She was very excited after she manage to hook the swans' attention at last and tried to coax it from here it wasn't often she was alone like this also, she was very interested in this swan very much and seen with her eyes many times it would often volunteerly approach girls from village and her senior/junior sisters from sect, let them pet and feed them. She has been long since wanted to do that but she was unsuccessful so far due to various situation even the last few attempts didn't give her any results.

It didn't affect her she come prepared this time as she personally readied this spirit pellet just for deepen their relationship 'Hehe, no one can stop this little Miss, did their cheap treats amount to my spirit pellets' she was very gleeful in thought of such a ingenious plan.

Truth to be told she was very jealous of the few girls who had been able to get close to this pretty birds but as the the property owner she at least enjoyed such a privilege more importantly she can't stop them from approaching this young maidens was she? what would this girls think? what would her martial sisters think?

She would come out as a petty person, It was said those girls where blessed by this swans to have happy marriage life so after find out they are approachable she wanted that blessing for herself as well who wouldn't especially if one had a secret crush on someone.

As time pass by her expression became more and more gloomy the time was nearing her breakfast she was little distracted and worried about something as she looked around from time to time her face fell as if she understood something her eyes reddened little.

She bitten her low lips suppressed her tears from welling up very upset about something she crushed the thing in her hand let it mix with the pond "Good, don't come to me then!" she hissed "Those girls didn't bring you anything but I brought you SPIRIT PELLETS yet, you guys wouldn't give me your favor huh? "

"Don't let me catch you guys.... or you become soup in my dinner someday hmph!" she angrily threatened them "Ungrateful things it's your loss not mine" then as she thought of something her face flushed and she took out another pill turned away from the attentive and alarmed swan fling it into the pond like marbles.

After half a dozen jump on the surface it sink into the pond each jump has certain distance like the first one quickly disappeared into the pond she started to throwing them one by one as she was playing some game.

As she flung her fifth pill with a petulant expression more than dozen swans gathered in the water and tried to catch the pills as carefully as they could before they break up and disperse into water.

But they didn't dare to catch them head on as they were coming in the speed like bullet however soft the pills seemed they instinctively know it was dangerous to intercept even if they don't get kill they would severely injured.

They started to flapping their wings in frustration and fear afraid the girl would suddenly aim one of them if they angered her any further, they couldn't even catch the quarter of the pill before it fully dispersed if they could they could have cried a river.

If one look carefully at this they would understand with throwing this kind of speed it should delay the process of break down even the pill lost the velocity it was surely something to do with her trickery.

Has any martial artist seen what she was doing they would be furious and vomiting few mouthful of blood in anger and envy at her extravagant attitude it's not she was wasting pills on them as this type of pills or not for humans but some rare ingredients in it could used to make vitality pill which is very helpful for marital practitioner in their early period.

If the people from her sect seen her childish behavior they would surely shocked by it too as she was said to be crowned as gentle flower by the younger generation for her gentleness and etiquette anyway it's not going to affect her as no one nearby even her shadow guards who always tailing her and protecting her all the time.

She was muttering to herself, the expression on her face kept changing as she looked like she was lost in her thoughts in trance as she was almost finished the half of the pills from the box then her action were frozen suddenly her eyes rolled for brief second, she stumbled little as she felt her world spinning.

Her body started to tremble her elegant dress drenched in sweat she felt her throat parched and fuzzy dots swimming all over her vision she coughed uncomfortably and slowly steadied herself and shook her head from side to side it was only after she crouched down did she felt the dizziness receded little.

Her eyes opened once again struggle to stay concentrated in one spot as her pupil shook and dilated little tears streaming down uncontrollably "Wh- thg- *Cough* *cough* htr"

After a coughing fit she managed calm herself her dilated eyes roaming around the pond and the tovering Statue placed on top of the boulder then her eyes slowly turning to the box that not for from her feet and the bunch of swans surrounding it pecking furiously at the pills.

"W-why am I -ere?" she croaked in coarse voice her eyes were heavy and with a trembling hand she touched her upper lips and nose wiped the hot blood that trickled down "Damn" her balance sense seems leaving her as she helplessly fell back into the grass her head turned to the side she was sure she saw a familiar blurry silhouette in the distance.

A boy with slender figure and red hair stared to run towards the fallen figure as if he had noticed something was off and he further speed up as his sharp eyes caught the sight of blood smeared in her dress.

"Senior Sister, SENIOR SISTER!" He shouted in fretful voice in few minutes he crossed the distance and dashed to her side and felt her pulse while panting while calling out to her.

His gentle shaking did nothing in this situation as she really seemed feinted because something and checked her strength of breath awkwardly look for any fatal wound on her body as he chased away the tri colored swans from her sides.

He frowned as he couldn't understand her condition nor what caused it nonetheless he lifted her up with shaking hands to a bridal style and unsteadily walked towards a certain direction after each step his speed increase little slowly turned to a jogging.

Not long in that direction a aesthetic looking house builded and when it enter his vision he yelled out in breathless voice " SENIOR SISTER! " even though his voice wasn't that loud because of his breathlessness a pretty girl with golden hair come out and he sensed few people in dark clothes speeding towards him with murderous intent.

The pretty girl's face also changed when she registered the whole situation she jumped out of the building and speed towards that boy, the earth cracked from her steps as she also noticed the black clothed people she yelled "STOP!" her leg covered in strange glow her speed doubled as she speed towards them like a dart.
