The Red Princess

Ever since she was crowned Queen of Caray, Scarlet had been caged by the thoughts "Will she ever be as great as her late mother?". She soon lost sight of herself, making everyone under her authority terrified by her presence or rather childish exuberance. This earning her the monicker "The Red Princess" because of her fierce composure and unfriendly appearance. But all feared her except The head maid who had never been separated from her from birth, Maria Ferguson and the old kitchen maid who had waited upon her mother in her prime. One fateful day, a helicopter landed in Caray and only one survivor was found. His name was Chima Jackson, a Nigerian, he soon found a place in Scarlet's mansion. Chima falls first for her when he was enchanted by her aura but it was a forbidden love. Not only was he not a royalty of high standing, he was a biracial child. Unfortunately yet fortunately Scarlet returns her feelings for him but doesn't show it openly. They are opposed greatly for even knowing each other. As other royalties have their eyes on the throne of Caray and Scarlet herself will the two love birds stand firm in their resolution? Is their love strong enough to wade away the oppositions? How much can they bear till they choose to throw away their love? Will the forbidden love end up being futile? ***THIS IS PURELY FICTION*** Caray doesn't really exist. **Chapter 15***

Standing together at the arrivals section of the airport. Onyinye on Manuel's shoulders held a banner on which was written 'Chima Jackson'. She was nervous to the core. 'What would she tell her when she saw him? ' she thought.

The plane soon landed and it was time for the passengers to alight and go to the arrivals. Eve was woken up by Chima. They walked hand in hand through the door of the plane, down the stairs, and into the arrivals section. Chima left to get their bags.

He soon got back. Eve became shy, she bent her head down to avoid eye contact with others. Everything felt new and strange. She didn't completely hate the feeling but she didn't like it either.

He held her hand firmly.

Faraway Onyinye recognized Chima and sighed. She bent a little and whispered into Manuel's ears "There's big brother,".

The latter immediately started walking towards Chima. When he was sure he could be heard, he called out to his brother "Chima,".
