Chapter 20: The Commoners’ Rebellion

With the mages and kings locked in conflict, the common people of Novus Mundus found themselves caught in the middle. But rather than remain passive, they began to organize. The Children of the Tree, once a small rebellion led by Thane, grew into a massive movement. Now armed with both magic and the support of the Arcane Circle, the common people rose up against their oppressors in cities across the world.

In Velethar, King Loran's reign was brought to an end when a group of mages and commoners stormed his palace, overthrowing the corrupt monarchy and establishing a new government in its place. Similar uprisings occurred in other cities, as the people demanded an end to the tyranny of the kings and nobles.

The Commoners' Rebellion, as it came to be known, spread like wildfire, and soon the balance of power in Novus Mundus shifted. Kings and nobles who had once ruled unchallenged now found themselves fighting for their survival.
