Chapter Eighty-Four: Speak of the Devil
Sebastian's POV
Coupled with being the Alpha of a fast-growing pack, I still had the duty of being my mother's son and driver, and each role was for two different reasons. Geo could easily drive her to and fro, but it had to be me. I could never understand why or how she thought it wasn't a big deal with all the craziness happening now.
I looked through the reports gathered during the two days I'd left to get my mother back from my grandparents' place.
"Mr. Lennon came to visit?" I saw his log. He didn't leave a message, so he might return in the near future. I hoped it wouldn't be with news that the young lady had run off again.
I closed the log. The one I'd asked to watch her had failed, so I'd asked Geo to find someone else. I hadn't checked if that had been accomplished before I'd left to get my mother.
