"What did you just say???"They asked in shock

"Elder kang,speak up!!"Elder long yelled as his body shook in fear

Elder kang sat in his seat looking downcast abd devasted

"We are all doomed!!!,the devil has broken from his chain!"He uttered again causing another wave of fear around the elders

Every single elder present were lost in their own thoughts

It was ultmost silence for almost an hour before an elder rose up and spoke

"I suggest we let the prophesy take it place!"He said causing a loud upoar

"Are you crazy elder fu???"An elder yelled in anger

"Do you know the consequences that follows if we let the prophesy take its course ??" Another added as every elder nodded their head in support of what he said

Elder fu scoff at the annoying elders that he once told a certain time not to trick the devil

Not only did they trick him,they locked him up and chained him just because of power and wealth

"Well do any of you have any other suggestions??"He asked in a mocking tune and they all went shut....

"Elder fu is right! this is the only way!" Elder Kong said as grumbles could be heard but no one spoke against it

"Luke!!"He yelled and a young man ran in almost immediately

"Make an annoucement,from the upper realm to the middle realm and down to the lower realm,there will be an opening for five top students to join the upper elect elders!! "He ordered snapping his fingers

Luke was in shock because this was the first time such a thing had ever happened

An opportunity to become one of the most prestigious heads of the upper realm was really a fantasy which was about to become real

He bowed as he immediately vanished to carry out the orders

It was so obvious that none of the elders liked the idea but none could oppose to it either

They knew it was the only way to survive when the devil comes for their blood!!!

Back to the middle realm, Mo fan walked together with Lin ran as they both went from shops to shop looking for some certain herbs

I turned and saw a deep black eyes...

Extremely dark with no ray of sunlight

At first I got shocked because I have only seen such eyes before when I was still a goddess

He didn't focus on the crowd instead his eyes were on me instead as If analyzing me

My eyes turned to the direction of the man in the mask but not to my surprise, he was already gone

The certain mask man stood at a hidden distance staring at the girl in a white robe...

His face were cold but his eyes had a hint of amusement to it

"What do you know about her?? "He asked the man kneeling

"Her name is mo fan... one of the daughters of the mo family, one of the most prestigious family in the zuo empire... She is the eldest granddaughter and the most useless one... rumors has it that she was born very ugly with a large scar on her face that's why she always put on a veil! "He narrated earning a deep chuckle from the man on the mask

"Interesting..... a goddess in a useless body... seeking to redeem the body??? hmm now isn't that interesting ?? "The man asked rhetorically...

"Find out more.... I want to know where she lives before night fall! "He ordered and one of the men vanished into thin air to follow the order

"Have you found out the location of those old fools that dare trick me?? "

"No my lord, but information has it that they are planning on organizing a competition to bring out the best five that could defeat you just like the prophesy said! "

The masked man snort, and laughed evilly for a few minutes

"Now isn't that super interesting???..... trying to send innocent kids to me instead of coming themselves! "The man said licking his dried red lips

Both I and Lin ran got to the mo mansion and found the place a bit cheerful

Hmm I must admit... not what I was expected...

I was thinking the news of the eldest mistress almost killing the third mistress must had spread round by now

It was quite obvious that he was so hungry,weak and pathetic ,I can't watch him like this

I yawned tiredly...

"Wake me once you are done preparing the herbs! "I said collapsing on the soft bed falling asleep immediately....

By the time I woke up, it was already past midnight

I looked around and saw pumpkin mixing some herbs

"You are awake? "He asked and I replied with a 'Hmm'

He smiled brightly with his body radiant of energy...

"I can see you have eaten! "I said and he nodded

"Thank you... although you are a terrible person but you did not starve me to death! "He said causing me to smile

"Get into this bathtub! "He ordered as his face got serious making him look so adorable...

I wanted to pinch his little cheeks but I had to endure

I got into the bathtub that was filled with Red substance...probably from the herbs

I could feel the spiritual energy coming from it making me lick my lips in hunger

I softly laid into the bathtub and tried to concentrate as the spiritual energy flow into my body

Due to my soul had lightening... I couldn't feel the pains that came with the spiritual energy

I absorbed it relaxing fully....

"I have blocked every noise from outside, so concentrate more on cultivating and harvesting more spiritual energy! "He said and I nod...

He vanished back into my body leaving me inside the tub...

After few hours of absorbing the energy, I could feel my self about to advance... I tried to concentrate more absorbing more energy as my spiritual tree grew for the first time into a tiny green leaf...

I breathed down when I finally was able to cultivate into my first spiritual tree...

I got out of the tub feeling light and radiating from spiritual energy

Even though it was just the first fruit, but at least I was able to cultivate

It is a start for me

A knock came on the door and I quickly wore my robe before opening the door...

"Mistress! "Lin ran bowed before entering into my minor

I sat down tapping the chair for her to seat...

He drew closer to me while I moved back until my back touched the wall

I could feel the faint scent of his breath over my face

"I only like it when you give me that attention! "He said as his mint fresh strawberries breath spread across my face making me feel dizzy
