immediately after hearing the voice his conciousness flew throughout space and across time.

In a small settlement in the NQSC in the outskirt region a young boy could be seen, he had jet black hair and eyes which seemed to hold darkness within.
the boy was etching a jagged line onto a great tree which stood proud in the outskirts there werent many trees left anymore so this one was special.
On the tree there were 2 lines and a third currently being dug onto the surface, it was proof that sunny and his family had existed, because he was from the outskirts he could not afford a grave so these lines on the tree were the only proof he had that he existed.
The reason he was etching a line for himself was rather obvious, he felt he was going to die. He had been infected with the nightmare spell and for an outskirt rat such as himself his survival was not likely.
All he could do was surrender himself to the nightmare spell, and to do so he headed to the nearest police station, it was law to go there when you have been infected or started showing symptoms.
Soon he had arrived at the station and confronted the guard, in which he told him he was a carrier of the spell.
"Damnation, thats the second one today"
'second?, some poor soul got infected aswell huh'
"whatever come with me kid" the guard ordered. To which sunny obliged.
he followed the guard into a small room with two metal bed like alters sat in the middle and chains attatched to the side, to keep those who failed the nightmare from going on a rampage.
On one of the sheets of metal there was a boy who led there still as if he was dead, the only indication that he was alive was the very slow movement of his chest up and down.
It would appear he had already succumbed to the spell.
Sunny took his place on the free sheet of metal and begant to get chained to the bed, cold chains wrapped him tight so that he couldnt escape.
After a short while the guard came and explained to sunless that the nightmare is fair and will most likely give him a tool to help him survive often in the form of an aspect.
And soon after he descended into the grips of the nightmare.
