"Not yet. Let's take a look at the store."
"Alright~" Ranta nodded. It looks like the host has gotten over the previous matter.
Placing her fork down, Tejumole accessed her profile page.
"Profile."
Instantly, the familiar screen with sinister blood-red words, "Welcome to the Punisher System" appeared before her eyes.
Two seconds later, it changed to reveal her user profile.

Her stats hadn't changed since the last time she saw them. Well, except for the suspicious numbers placed at the very top.
The first time she accessed the system, those numerical figures were much more. Above one thousand.
Tejumole didn't know what the numbers signified. It made her curious. Those figures appeared to be a countdown, but for what?
Tejumole felt troubled. She didn't like this feeling of being in the dark. Not one bit.
But since she knew nothing about the matter, she chose to settle other issues first. After all, she wouldn't get anything out of Ranta and much less the system. Her previous inquiries were either entirely ignored or brushed aside.
Therefore, as she glanced at the screen, Tejumole pushed her thoughts away and accessed the system store.
On her shoulder, was an inquisitive Ranta who wanted to know what his host would select.

Seeing these items the second time gave Tejumole a different feeling.
Previously, she was low in experience points, and could only reluctantly look away as the shop items flickered like the top prize on the shelf during a fair.
Now though, she had over three thousand experience points. More than enough to purchase whatever she wanted.
This congenial understanding thus caused her to feel smug as a satisfied grin slowly appeared on her face.
It was time to spend money like water.
"Host, take your pick~" Ranta spoke with sparkling eyes, and his tail swishing back and forth behind him.
"Alright." She responded lightly.
The first item to catch her attention was the Coffin of Horrors.
It was unlike any item in her inventory, and it gave off a supernatural impression. The origin of the coffin was also quite intriguing, and she wondered if she would get to meet the supposed ghost who apparently abandoned his 'wife'.
Thinking about this, Tejumole imagined the scenarios where she could use the Coffin and analysed.
The level of mental damage this coffin could inflict was something she found incredulous. If it could cause eighty-five percent mental damage to a person, then that unfortunate soul was destined to end up in an insane asylum or even kick the bucket.
Thinking about this, apart from scepticism, Tejumole also felt the urge to test the potency of this supernatural object.
Luckily, she had a new mission to complete and with the nature of the task, there were bound to be plenty of sinners. Who knows, she might even get to meet the scummy apparition.
Great.
"Coffin of Horrors." Tejumole thought it through and decided to purchase this item. She recited the item she wanted in her mind and waited for the confirmation button to appear.
[The host has chosen "Coffin of Horrors".
Cost: 700EXP points.
Confirm purchase: YES/NO.]
"Yes." Tejumole confirmed the transaction and successfully attained another item. However, she tsk-ed and rolled her eyes when she saw a miniature coffin do a flip before entering her inventory.
(Congratulations, you have received system item "Coffin of Horrors".
Do put it to good use.)
Tejumole ignored the last comment while Ranta shook his tail on her shoulder. She felt a little distraught as she saw her experience points fall, but steeled her resolve and continued her shopping spree.
She would earn more soon.
The next thing she selected was 'The Doctor's Chair'. This was another interesting item. She felt it would prove useful when dealing with her future opponents. Especially the stubborn ones who refused to talk.
'Aanu will like this…' Tejumole sighed when she imagined how Aanu would obsess over this item.
[The host has chosen "The Doctor's Chair".
