Chapter Fourty Two: The Turn Around

Shawn and Raven just outside of the Witch Kingdom to find that they could not enter.

" It would seem they have undergone a lock down or something" Shawn sighed. Raven knew that the Kingdom would only lock down under the most extreme of circumstances which meant that Kara had more than likely, made her move. " We are too late.." Raven sighed as she stared up at the giant walls that surrounded the entirety of her former home.

" Well where would she have taken her then? We can still still stop this" Shawn turned to Raven who tried her best to think on where Kara would actually attempt to hide.

" I am not sure, there are far too many places to check and I doubt we will have the time to do so. The only thing I can think is that she would go back to Earth but that also seems unlikely. We might have to wait until she makes her next move.." Raven was concerned that the next move Kara made would be a devastating one, but they also had very little choice in the matter.

" If we can't stump her, And she harms the baby.. there will be no going back" Shawn points out.

" It was an option that we never really wanted to do" Raven adds.

" Is it possible that she would go after Gabriel? " Shawn questioned.

" I would doubt it. She wants him in the world so I'm going to find it very unlikely" Raven continues trying to think of possible Locations that Kara could have hidden.

" I don't understand why she wouldn't let both she and Gabriel to grow up and then tried to do everything she could to ensure that they didn't break up. Wouldn't that have made more sense? So at least in one life, she gets to be with him? " Shawn questioned.

" Well she's definitely not thinking clearly. If. Anything, She is completely lost her mind. And there's not much we can do about it. We could try to present logic to her but I doubt that would go over well. She went through with capturing herself and now she is going to probably do God knows what with it. And all we can do is sit here and hope she makes a mistake" Raven was increasingly panicking.

" They always end up making a mistake. The people who aren't thinking clearly always end up messing things up somewhere along the line. And she will. Because as smart as she was. For all the promise and potential, she made more mistakes than anyone" Shawn assures Raven.

" Well those mistakes could have been prevented if we had intervened more" Raven argued.

" What were we supposed to do? They weren't children! We weren't supposed to guide them. They had to make their own choices! " Shawn retorts.

" But is that not what you've asked our daughter to do? To guide the hands of fate? To ensure that everything goes as smoothly as it possibly can? " Raven brought a valid point and one that Shawn could not argue.

" That is her destiny " Shawn answered.

" Well Destiny or not, our child's life is in danger! Where is she? " Raven finally realized that if Kara was going after Penny, they could let Kara come to them by being with Penny. It wouldn't keep their daughter completely safe but it would at the very least, lure out Kara.

" We were searching for paradoxes. Things within the world that didn't belong and We had all split up to handle them. That's when you came to me so I'm not entirely sure where they are now" Shawn answered.

" Well I saw Keera briefly and she said she was going to meet up with Penny and keep her safe and out of conflict if Kara approached her" Raven remembered.

" I would highly doubt that either one of those two would deny the chance to meet Kara or face her in combat, even if Keera is a bit more responsible" Shawn sighed.

" We have to get to them quickly then" Raven pulled her cloak tighter around her and both dissapeared from the Kingdoms Wall, in hopes to find their daughter who may be in more trouble than they realized.
