Chapter Fourty One: The Goodbye Festivity

Lysette and Ally spent the next day within the home of the serpents. It was there that they made friends with many of the family of serpents. it had been quite an enriching experience for Ally, who was able to learn a great deal from all of the ancient knowledge that was shared. The ways of the Witches and the Lycans and the Vampires was explained in great detail to her. The source of all magic as well as the great visitors of the Well.

Ally appreciated all of the information that her friends had decided to share with her and found the most interest within the topics of the untapped magic sources within the world. Uncontaminated magic that had once been looked over by a group called the Ancients. This group had dissapeared long ago and had actually never directly interacted with the Serpents of the Well.

The main reason for this being that the serpents chose to keep their Identities a secret.

Whether someone was benevolent or not, The power of the well could truly bring devastation among the world it fell into the wrong hands. Ally knew the importance of protecting the Well and vowed that she would do all she could to ensure it's saftey. A promise that she would need to live up too as Lysette would hold her to it.

Even Lysette herself had learned a great deal, and had even learned some new healing techniques that would help with great wounds especially in battle. But mainly, Lysette kept watch of Ally and monitored her progress. she had not coughed in several hours and her condition had seemed to improve greatly. This was a huge relief to Lysette who worried for the child dearly.

" I cannot wait to see what you become when you grow up. I know that you're going to do amazing things in this world. I believe you are going to change it for the better" Gandy smiled at Ally who smiled happily back.

" I agree" said Lala. " There is nothing that would make me happier than to see Queen Ally rule over the Underworld and change it so that we all may truly benefit from the peace we have been owed for centuries".

This of course was a lot of pressure. But this pressure was something that Ally felt she was more than equipped to handle. Her new friends had inspired a confidence within her that made her feel as though she could conquer anything that stood in her way. She was a true Lycan unlike any other. Tough but Smart, and far more open minded and future thinking than anyone of her Kind. Even Lysette still bore wounds from the past that prevented her from being able to see things clearly at times.

" I shall make you all proud! I promise" Ally giggled.

" When will you return home? " Questioned Gandy.

" We will probably head home tomorrow, Your family awaits us Ally" Lysette reminded the child who seemed sad.

" I don't want to go home. I want to stay with my new friends. I want to learn even more from them. That way when I do return home someday, I am able to truly make a difference"

Lysette Understood the plea but this would not be allowed. She needed to return home because the Lycan Kindgom was in complete disarray without her. In truth, most of the reasons were completely political and Lysette was saddened by the reality that Ally could not stay where she found herself being the most happy. She would have to go and do bigger and better things even if that meant she had to be where she was miserable.

" I am sorry Ally, I truly wish that you could stay. But I promise you that you can visit any time you would like. I will ensure that you can return here as often as you would like but you have many things to get done" Lysettes heart broke at the tears now being shed by Ally.

" I am sorry " Lysette apologized as Ally ran to Gandy and hugged him tightly.

" Do not worry child. You will be able to return to us like your protector sad. And we will wait for you. But you have to go out there and make the world a better place. We are putting our trust and faith and you to do so. So please do not let us down" Gandy tried to comfort Ally and it seemed to work.

" Besides, you get to spend one more night with us all and we shall make it memorable" Lala laughed, trying to be as positive as he possibly could.

" Okay" Ally finally broke a small smile.

" Good! " Let's have a feast" Lala demmanded as all of the serpents scrambled around the chamber to prepare their favorite dishes. " What do you guys even eat? " Lysette questioned.

" The Souls of the damned...and potatoes " Gandy answered.

" Huh..weird " Lysette shrugged as she picked Ally up and made her way down to the festivities.
