Subterranean Symphony

"Hahaha, whoever did that must be an insane freaks."

"Ain't it!? It feels like entering the cavern nest of a malevolent spider demon!"

89 bodies were hung by the ceilings. Splotches of luminescent red paint were splattered across the inside. With the right angles, numerous messages can be revealed upon closer look. The photographer managed to capture those messages without many pictures.

From the left corner near the entrance, taken thirty degrees to the ceiling, the formation of paint could be read .

'May your screams be a sign of celebration, a song of offering, of reverence to me.'

Still from the left side, on the third row of the corpse, from there another message could be read.

'May your cries be raised as spells, which will please both the masses and me.'

Near the middle of the entrance, if one hunched and looked at the seven columns of the hanged corpses, another message could be spelled.

'May you dance with your life on the line, the risk is the height of it all!'

And then from the corner right near the entrance, the formation of paint could be seen forming a coherent sentence that was stretching from corner to corner of sight.

'For those who will not dance, make them drink their fill! For those who are unskilled, make them drink their fill!'

And then the last picture, showing the view being taken from the end side of the building, a clear message was shown.

'May there be curses on you and your offspring. May you be cursed, you and your offspring.'

"If I'm being honest with you, these messages that we captured, really gave me the creep." He then took a whole batch of the stacks of pictures from his belt pouch and scattered it to all directions. "The picture of the Yugen Extra's corpses within that building! Go get it before they find out!"

"Oy Logan!" One of the other Red Marauders immediately came over, slinking through the crowd before dragging the man by his back collar. "You're having too much fun, now they have their eyes on us!"

"Ahahah!" Logan saluted in my direction. "I'll see you later, stranger!"

I waved as a reply before getting away from the way of the crowd that was trying to acquire the scattered pictures.

It was rowdy, until some members from the Yugen Extra started to hurl their poison rods, effectively killing the people and dispersing the crowd.

"To anyone that dared to get ahold of those pictures, we will hunt you down, no matter where you live!!"

Oh welp, guess I know that they are happy with my gift. I exited the vicinity, going to my next destination.

"Guess the Red Marauder didn't get a hold of the last message, huh."

From all these pictures that man had shown, there was one more message missing. Either that they didn't have the time to look further and the Yugen already came to the site, or they were just not as attentive to search every corner.

Welp, the Yugen Extra would eventually find it either way.

From the center of the whole building, if one tilted their head at ninety degrees to the above, the last sentence could be seen.

'Neither the dawn nor the dusk shall stop the next celebration.'

"Oh well, that was fun."

It wasn't the first time I did something like this, to be honest. In fact there was once an unsolved Urban Legend Threat back in the day where many of the Associated Offices ended up with a clueless end.

Now that such a phenomenon happened once again, I won't be surprised if they revived the sunken Urban Legend from the abyss within the list of the things that the Associations should be taken care of.

Or that was what was supposed to happen.

People began to worship those bloody paintings and deemed them as a revelation upon the hellscape of the City's veins.

Eventually, an Urban Legend Syndicate was formed.

The name of the Urban Legend was 'The Subterranean Symphony', led and cultivated by some capable freaks with an enigmatic reason for why they were doing so. After a while, they began recreating my disgusting craft with their own preaching, waiting for the next revelation.

Of course, they weren't actually that much dangerous when compared to numerous Syndicates I know, so their names and goals weren't well known in this specific part of District 67.

I wanted to try visiting them when I have the chance, now that I have started to be active again. What kind of reaction would those freaks make? If they found out that their so-called vague Deity was actually a normal human?

Likewise, it won't be long before they visited District 67 after the report managed to travel onto the other Districts.

If I would like to guess, the Yugen Extra must be really anxious about this. While they probably had some testimony of the survivor from the Headlamp Zero's hunt, the uniforms we wore won't be convincing enough to determine that it wasn't the doing of the Subterranean Symphony.

Yes, the Yugen Extra would be thinking that the Subterranean Symphony was the one who did this to them until they managed to track which organization had such uniforms.

For the whole time of that hunt, I hid my whole head with a scarf and acted differently with a different voice, enough for them to have a hard time to determine who the hell that person was.

As for Nusa and Neijya, both of them were general staff that were rarely seen outside of the headquarters. Yugen Extra didn't have the scouting capability of the Streetlight Talon, they won't find out who they were either.

Heh, sneaky White Rabbit and Cheshire Cat, they were expecting this kind of result. Who knew that the Streetlight Talon was capable of developing such psychos.
