Chapter 10.

After Dr Stevens fled from the hospital,he knew they will come after him.

He rushed to his personal laboratory,packed his experiment, documents and left for his home to get his daughter.

Dr Stevens drove recklessly to his house as he kept having the feelings that something was wrong.

It was a sour sight to behind as his house was on fire and his precious daughter was lying dead with a vampire bit marks on her neck and a letter was besides her and it read"we will be back for you"

Dr Stevens was torn apart.His heart was bitter with sadness and sorrow and he swore to revenge her death..

Armed with the letter,he left with everything and the broken pieces of his life as his daughter was his only family member....

After Dr Stevens left the city,he went into hiding in the woods,there in the woodDr Stevens begins to set up a secret laboratory. In order not to attract attention, he builds his lab deep in the woods, away from any roads or villages. Once the lab was set up, he begins to experiment with the blood of vampires, trying to develop a cure for vampirism....

Day and night Dr Stevens kept working in his lab, till one day while he was busy working on one of his experiment,he begins to hear strange sounds in the forest around him. He can't tell if they're animal sounds or something else. He starts to feel uneasy, like he's being watched. Then, one night, as he's working in his lab, he hears a scratching at the door. He slowly opens the door, and is shocked to see a beautiful woman standing there, a woman with pale skin and glowing red eyes. She says, "I need your help."

Dr. Stevens stood frozen in place, unsure of what to do. The woman steps forward and says, I'm Barbara by name and "I know you're looking for a cure for vampirism. I can help you with that, if you'll help me. I want to bring an end to the rule of the Supreme One. He's been terrorizing my people for too long. Will you join me?"

After thinking for some times, Dr Stevens thought to himself that this woman could be his key to finding a cure for vampirism, so he agrees to join forces with her. "I'll help you," he says, "but on one condition: you have to tell me everything you know about the Supreme One and his power. What makes him so strong, and how can we defeat him?" The woman nods and says, "I'll tell you everything." And she begins to tell him a story that goes back centuries...

The woman tells Dr. Stevens the story of how the Supreme One came to power. Long ago, she says, there was a powerful sorcerer who sought immortality. He made a pact with a demon, exchanging his soul for the cursed inks But the demon tricked him, turning him into a creature of the night - a vampire. Over the centuries, the sorcerer grew in power, until he became the Supreme One, a being of terrible power and cruelty. He rules over the other vampires, demanding their loyalty and obedience.

The woman tells Dr. Stevens that the Supreme One is sustained by a dark cursed inks on both his hands that allows him to be immune to ordinary weapons including silver weapons . This is how he has lived for so long, and how he has become so powerful. But she says the only way to defeat him was stabbing him directly in his heart with a sword made from the fang of the First vampire.

Dr Stevens was shocked by the revelation and asked Barbara how she knew all of this.

So, the woman continues her story. She told Dr. Stevens that Vlad is her brother but she doesn't support the idea of him trying to control the human realm as well as the supernatural realm and now she wants to stop the Supreme One once and for all. "You can help me," she says to Dr. Stevens

Dr. Stevens is still skeptical. He asks the woman why he should trust her. "I know you have no reason to believe me," she says. "But I'm asking you to take a leap of faith. If you help me, we can put an end to the Supreme One's reign of terror. And perhaps we can find a way to reverse the curse of vampirism." Dr. Stevens considers her words, and then he makes his decision. "I'll help you," he says.

Dr Stevens and Barbara begin to plan the foundation for the battle ahead and decided to form a group know as the "Moonchaser "

In a gathering of supreme one and followers, supreme one was seated with a glass of wine in his house as it seems like a party,he stood up and everyone bowed.

"Dr. Stevens you can't run forever,I will get you if is the last thing I do echoced Vlad while his followers tremble in fear ..

Somewhere in the wood,Prof T and Barbara kept working on different expriement as they knew time wasn't on their side.

Within a few weeks of working together, they made so many progress.

They were able to create special silver weapons mixed with a virus that burns the skin of a supernatural beings once it comes in contact with their skins and then a perfume made from the tears of a beetle which once sprayed makes one to lose memory of a particular event that took place ....

All this were made possible with the help of Barbara.

Then the search for the chosen members of the moon chasers.....

According to Barbara, they must be courageous, Smart,brave fearless, always at alert and finally must have the zeal to fight against evil .

Prof T had numbers of students in mind for the task ahead as he had encountered most of them.

They have the zeal and taste for revenge against the supreme one for having lost one or two family members to a vampire attack or virus injection by the doctors at the province hospital.
