Disaster

In the next month, every hope that Isaac had left in humanity had left him. Everyone was after benefits and they would stab you in the back without thinking twice. He made himself a schedule, were he was exploring the sewers for the few food that was left for the same day, than he was heading outside for a bit of fresh air and after that he sleeped on the bare floor.

He relocated his bed farther from the tunnel entrance ,because the weather was unusally cold for the autumn. He was still grieving over his stolen clothes and he swore that if he found them again, he would kill them. The few homeless people that were there ignored him, because his deep blak hair and eyes were making him a disturbing company.

*Outside the sewers, at the same time*

"An unusually big cumulonimbus cloud had been spotted aproaching the city at a rapid pace! All people are recommended to leave the city for the next week, because severe flooding are expected"a news reporter was saying loudly.

Isaac's mom was watching the news with concern. The concern wasn't directed to her lost son, but to her house. Isaac was long dead to her.

*Inside the sewers*

Isaac was panting heavily. He ran away from a group that tried to take his watch and he only escaped after stabbing one of them into the temple. After he managed to get away he started pucking uncontrolably. It was the first human he ever killed(his father survived) and the eyes of the person he killed were still hunting him. They were filled with desperation and fear, they were just trying to survive. Was it realy nesecary to kill?

Isaac couldn't find the answer.

He headed slowly to his little pesronal space, realizing he needed some time to sort out his feelings. Unfortunetly, nature didn't seem to be on his side. As soon as his head hit the improvised pillow, a small rumble made him jump on his feet. Just now he realised that he was alone in the sewer and that the ceiling was leaking mudy water. He began running in the opposite direction of the entrance, because he realised what was going on.

Isaac was already at the second turn when he heard a deafening sound. When he looked back he saw a black wave. It looked like a monster ready to eat him and that drove him to run faster. After one minute he could feel his mulscles toring apart, but he didn't give up. A big tent appeared in front of him and he recognized it. It was Chloe's tent. He started laughing like a madman.

Her head could be seen loking for the source of the noise.She was surprised to see Isaac runing towards them, but even more surprised to see the flood that was folowing him. The last thing she heard before she was swallowed was Isaac's swearing.

Even though he was close to death, he was happy. He got his revenge and had no reason left to live like a rat into the filthy sewers. The waters overrun him and after a few seconds, something hard hit his head and everything went blank.

A few memories of long forgotten times came into his head. Back then he was still treated like a normal human, not like an animal. Before his heart stopped, his eyes turned black and stars could be seen shining in his eyes. Instead of turning into a corpse his body shattered into milions of pieces.

The next thing he remembered was a gloomy hallway with multiple entrance and exits. On the wall next to him there was a inscription made with a substance that looked like blood.
