Chapter 77

" Thank you all for coming to this gathering again. " Merlin said as she eyed everyone who gathered at the new meeting place. As the person who is in charge of foreign affairs Roxanne let Merlin do the talking as she took a seat at the big stone table. 

Unlike the earlier meeting venue where they hold the discussion in a room they are now in an open field courtesy of Katarena who blew up a whole building with her magic. But even so the Shadow Garden made a wonderful meeting venue with the rubble they found. So now the meeting venue looked like an ancient ruin with the stone pillars and stone furniture. They even made a stone platform for it to be more authentic. 

" From the devils side we have the current Satan Lucifer Sirzechs Lucifer, his queen Grafia Lucifuge and the current Satan Leviathan Serafall Leviathan. " Merlin began her introductions with the devils as they were the closest to him. 

" Then from the Angels Side we have the chief of all angels Archangel Michael and the Archangel Gabriel " She said as she looked at the Heaven faction representatives. 

" Then from the Fallen angels we have the Leader of all fallen angels Azrael and the Governor general Azazel " she said as she introduced the fallen angel representatives. 

" And lastly we have the leader of the Shadow Garden Lady Shaltier " Merlin said as she finished introducing everyone. 

" For today's discussion is how much information we will release to the public on what our stance is against this new organization that is responsible for this attack. The Khaos brigade. " After speaking Merlin stopped speaking. Her role is over for now. 

" well to be honest today's attack might have reached the ears of other pantheons. After all, the use of magic is still lingering here. We should be glad that the Shinto faction didn't come running here with weapons. " Azazel joked, not knowing how true his words were. 

The shinto faction was about to come here to check what the three factions were doing when they sensed the aura of a satan class being. But they were ultimately held back by the Shadow Garden who somehow convinced Amaterasu. This is also the same for the Yokai faction. 

Due to these factions not making a move every other faction had to keep their hands out of this matter. After all, no pantheon likes when other foreign patheon meddle with their affairs. And due to this situation information on what happened here is very pricey on the black market. 

" Azazel, enough joking, we need to be serious about this. The peace meeting was attacked by a group of terrorists despite knowing all the leaders of the three factions are present there. This clearly says how much of a threat they are. " Areal admonished him before he could say anymore. 

" Yes, for an organisation to have the courage to antagonist all three factions is indeed concerning. " Michael also agreed to this. Antagonising one faction can be considered normal but all three of them together that's something only a madman would do. 

" You shouldn't forget about us chief Michael. Although we are considered a neutral faction, attacking the Shadow isn't something we take lightly " Roxanne said in a cold tone. If she didn't know the story this attack may have killed most of her friends. 

" We first need to know how those terrorists managed to teleport here without the barrier blocking them. And apart from me I only gave you guys the key to teleport here directly. And from the reports I got those guys didn't bother to analyse the barrier and instead teleported directly here. " Roxanne said seriously. 

" So we have a mole amongst us huh " Serafall said bitterly. She knew most of the suspicion would fall on their side due to the Old Satan faction having a clear hand in this attack. 

But just as she was about to explain themselves a small magic circle appeared in Azazel' s and Azrael's ear. It was a communication magic circle that is able to send small voice messages. Although it was commonly used in wars to spread important information or emergency orders. 

After a few seconds Azrael said , " I see " while Azazel had a grimm look on his face. It looked like whatever message they received was not good. 

Azrael gave Azazel a look making him nod reluctantly. He gave a deep sigh as he said, " well it looked like the mystery mole has been found out. It was from our side " 

Gabriel asked innocently, " who is it Azazel" 

Azazel's face twitched as he said, " it was my adopted son Vali. He just defected from Gregory with his friends from the Khaos Brigade. " 

" Oh " was everyone's reaction when they heard about this. 

" The White Dragon Emperor huh , well not too surprising considering his lineage" Roxanne said, making everyone look at her. 

" What do you mean , Shaltier?" It took almost every bit of his willpower to look a bit threatening as Azazel asked this question. 

" Hmm, isn't he a half devil? From what I investigated he is the youngest descendant of the late Satan Lucifer. The grandson of Rizevim Lucifer. " Roxanne said, ignoring him. 

Sirzechs and Serafall looked shocked at this revelation while Michael and Gabriel had an understanding look in their eyes. Sirzechs eyes turned cold as he asked Azazel, " how did you even adopt him Azazel" 

" Hey hey don't blame the kid too much. When he was just a little brat his grandfather killed his father and did some really nasty torture on him. 

When I found him in the Underworld he was covered in bruises. And I just happened to see him in the wilderness after he escaped from Rizevim. " Azazel defended his kid after seeing Sirzechs mood. He didn't care as Vali was truly not aligned with Khaos Brigade. So until he does something that will break his heart he will always care about his adopted son. 

" Putting Azazel's adopted son aside , do we have any information about this Khaos Brigade?" Michael asked, breaking the tense atmosphere. 

Azazel groaned as he said, " no actually those guys are too careful. From what we were able to gather this group seemed to consist of magicians , exiled exorcists , and the devils from the Old Satan faction. "
