Princess Olivia halted the Archmage just before entering the bustling market.
"Archmage, wait a minute!"
He turned to her with a gentle inquiry, "What is it, princess? Do you require something?"
She hesitated, glancing at the crowded market. "What if I get recognized here? I know I suggested this, but now I'm reluctant to enter the crowd."
"No one knows you're a princess. You've never made a public appearance. This is your escape," he reassured, smiling—an unusual sight that made her heart flutter.
"Come, I'll help you." With that, he pulled her into the lively market, eventually leading her into a dark alley, away from prying eyes.
Inside a secluded house, a woman greeted them, "Lord, how come you've come without prior notice?"
Princess Olivia, standing behind the Archmage, whispered, "Who is she? Can she help us?"
"She's my messenger," he revealed.
