"What do you mean by your saying?" Archmage asked, looking thoroughly confused.
"It is nothing, my lord!! If you can't figure it out by yourself, then you will face more than you could see," Orion said cryptically.
"I will return to my own work," Orion added before walking toward the other room, leaving Archmage deep in thought on the couch. The meaning behind Orion's words eluded him.
"Am I forgetting something?" Archmage pondered, his mind striving to recall something important, but he found a gap, a memory missing, as if it had been erased.
"Why can't I remember having a saintess born before the princess? Why can't I recall the existence of a saintess living for more than a thousand years in this place? Did something happen in the meantime?" he wondered, his thoughts revealing his true nature.
