Revelations and Frustrations

Present

Yeah, I now remember. I remember this scene very clearly in my mind. I still clearly imagine how I felt when I read about this scene in a book called "PRINCESS CORONATION." Yeah, it was the name. I bought this book from my cousin who was only nine years old.

But there are lots of parts which were disturbing.

Except for this part, it has many gruesome scenes. But now when I remember the heroine of the book was not Ellanious de Olger Usoro but Jessica Atriedes. Yeah, she was the female lead. Ellanious was barely a stool for her to get the title of princess.

She was born into the Baron family, but she was a close friend of Crown Prince Griffin, which made her come to the palace more easily than anyone. But I never liked her character. I was never really fond of such an innocent, weak character fan. But the most annoying part was that she was coming to the engagement ceremony of the crown prince and running off from the banquet when the prince was about to wear the ring to Ellanious.

It was as if it was planned.

Later after this scene, all started blaming Ellanious for trying to steal the Crown prince from the Baron lady, but in reality, the one who came to the duke for the marriage was the emperor himself.

Now everything is coming to a close.

I never noticed that I had similarities with Ellanious. So now I have concluded that I have entered inside the book I read, and the villainess in this setup is me, Ellanious De Olger Usoro. What rubbish!!!

I know there was a scene where the duchess fell from the window, but there are not many clues about Ellanious in the book. She didn't even have a proper role, but it roamed around Jessica Atreides, who became the future empress as well as the saintess blessing the empire. Then why is she not revealing now?

My mind is a mess.

"Princess"

"Princess"

Misa called me as usual, making me snap out of my thoughts.

"Yes"

"Aren't you coming to the funeral of the Duchess?" she asked.

"No," I declined.

"But what if people say bad things about you?" She always thinks about what the best of me is.

"Let them be. Do you think they think good of me now? I'm not sure. I didn't even see my place as a saintess when my mother slapped me just because I had gained five more kilograms than she thought. She even acted so crazy enough to kill herself. Then what is the point? What will I say if I show myself in front of those social butterflies?" I don't know what I was saying to her or if that was what I was saying myself.

"Princess, the Archmage is waiting for you in the waiting room," another maid informed.

That was not what I was expecting, but I still somehow ran to him. My head is in a mess, but I'm still trying to find an escape from all the stupid thoughts inside my mind.

"Greetings, Princess," he said.

"Greetings, Archmage," I said and sat in front of him.

"What made you come all the way?" I sounded as if I'm misbehaving with him.

"I feel so sorry for the Duchess. I never expected there would be a day I would get to see the duke's family shattered," he said.

Why do you sound so sad when I am not sad seeing my mother dying?

"Are you fine, princess?" he asked, but I slapped his hand.

"Sorry, for the way I behave, but I want to confess something!!" my heart is beating loud as if I'm going to say something wrong again.

"Yeah, you can say anything you want," he allowed.

I took a deep breath and said, "I don't belong here."

I said it.

Yeah, I did it.

"Yeah, I know princess. 'You belong to the temple'," he is still saying so calmly. It is pissing me off.

I got up from my place and walked toward his place. I can finally get his attention. His eyes were staring into me as if he was observing me, but my pissed-off mood can't be solved with just his attention.

"Archmage Arthur, sorry to tell you, but I don't belong here means that I don't belong at Duke's place, but I'm not from this world," I held him by his collar.

"P-princess," finally flustered.

"I'm not sure if you believe it or not, but whatever that day, I said is true. I'm from the other world. I don't know anyone here, but whatever is happening here is already written in a book. And the Female lead is Baron Lady Jessica Atreides, while the Male lead is Crown Prince Griffin. Now can you understand whatever I'm saying?" I'm looking at him while stretching my eyes as big as round-shaped glass balls.

"P-princess, could you please let go of my shirt?" he said. His face turned all red as well as his ears. He is trying so hard to hide.

"Oh ok, sorry," I let go of him.

"So, you understand me, right?" I asked again.

"Princess, did you see a future?" he asked.

I felt lost again. My eyes lowered as I lost my freaking hope.

"Or perhaps you can't process it because of the loss you faced today?" He sounded concerned, but it didn't matter.

"You know what? I don't care what you think. Now you can leave, Archmage Arthur," I said and walked toward my room.

I can still feel his stare poking on my back, but now this is so frustrating. I let go of my freaking fear and said such a big truth, and what he said? Lose? Lose my foot!!!!

Thank God the bitch died!!!

Now I can finally breathe, and now I can finally eat whatever I want.

"Ella"

"Meet me at study!!"

The duke called me as I was about to enter my room.
