They were betrayed by love. The power of greed broke down filial piety. The primordials were taken down by their children, the titans and broke down the peace that had been existent since their rule. Before the primordials faded they laid down law that any after them had a finite time to rule and restore peace in the realms or they shall be dethroned by universe law and the cycle shall not stop until their law was fulfilled.
