"Mom, Mom, look what we bought!" said Lala and Lili simultaneously.

Mataya and Benvolio then turned towards the source of the voice.

"What did you buy, honey?" asked Mataya very gently in response to the two foster children.

"Chocolate, cookies, and ice cream, Mother," they answered in unison and were enthusiastic.

"Haven't you eaten chocolate and candy today, honey? Sister Emma told Mother that you've been eating a lot of chocolate and candy lately. Why are you buying sweets again?"

"Sorry, Mother. We really like sweet food and can't stop eating it," Lala said and looked down because she felt guilty.

"You have to choose one of the three and the rest you have to share with the others," answered Mataya firmly.

"But Mother, Uncle Kazayn has already bought sweets for everyone here. It wouldn't be fair if they got more from me and Lala too," said Lili and pursed her lips
