Xander was a bit angry at the system, since he was expecting the system to give him more stats so he could finally learn the silver dragon's clap. But he still but it in his endurance.

But as he thought about it maybe the system was being fair, since he didn't risk his life and the fight was relatively easy. And he honestly thought he could fight at least three intermediate best, and defeat them if he was not drained.

Though he wanted to stay and fight he had to go and meet Marcus so they could duel in the evening, since that was when they usually finished the days work and he was expecting Marcus to be there.

He then found his way back to the room to get some well deserved sleep.o

The nest day the boys did their usual they had breakfast went to class, later they had lunch and went to class again before finally having dinner and it was then the students could relax.

During that time the two boys Kelvin and Alvin told Xander that they had something to do, and when Xander asked if he could come along the asked him if he would plead with Marcus to cancel the duel and as you expected Xander said no.

The two boys searched for Marcus for a while before they found him, he was about to enter the place where the staff had their food when he heard two people shouting his name.

And he couldn't help but see the two boys running towards him, but he was disappointed that Xander was not with them as he furrowed his brows.

"Good evening Sir Marcus, we just wanted to ask you if you could cancel the duel you are having with our friend Xander", kelvin said straight forwardly.

And though Alvin thought that they could have beaten around the bush for a little while, he knew that they needed to get this over with as soon as possible.

"Ahh so you both came here to beg for your friend", Marcus asked like he wasn't interested though he was going to make the most out of this.

"Yes Sir", both if them said at the same time and it was obvious that they were desperate for his reply.

"Well you see your friend challenged me, without fear and he has to be thought a lesson". Marcus said.

"But I was sure it was just a fun joke right", Alvin said with a half smile on his face.

"Fun joke, the scum you call your friend dared raised his hand to slap me. A whole me.", Marcus growled and with the veins that were bludging on his four head and neck it was obvious that he was angry.

"We're, I mean he is sorry", Alvin said in a pleading voice but it was barely even felt by Marcus.

"If he really is sorry why didn't he come hear himself", Marcus asked but the two boys didn't reply which made Marcus even more annoyed.

"I don't want to hear another word about the scum called Xander, so if you have nothing better to do or say then leave me alone", Marcus barked out annoyingly but the boys could barely do a thing about it.

"I thought so",Marcus said. "Well gentleman I bid you good day", Marcus said and slammed the door behind him.

The two boys could only walk back to their rooms like men who had lost a war, they got to their room and slumped to the bed.

" let me guess that proud moron refused to cancel the duel...and you guys feel sorry for me right",Xander said and when they didn't reply a deep sight escaped his throat.

He knew that his friends cared about him even though they meet not too long ago, and they thought he was done for.

But he knew he could win and just like killing, defeating and beating people helped him grow stronger so also was he going to try and make them relax with his calm words.

"Listen guys, do you remember how I destroyed that doll from when we were about to qualify to become students in this Academy", he said while smiling.

And if wasn't defeating the doll that made him smile no no. It was the crystals he received.

"Or do you guys remember how I survived that attack while we were travelling to this Academy", he said and was happy that his friends mood seemed to be getting better.

" Listen guys, I am strong even without an ability I can beat Marcus even if I don't have an ability",Xander said and kelvin smiled before he spoke.

"Though what you said just now sounds almost impossible, I think you will be able to beat him", kelvin said since he paid more attention to him after he destroyed the robot. And now that he thought about it Xander had a chance to kick Marcus's butt.

"Well I can only say, I support you", Alvin said a with a smile.

"And remember that no matter what happens we will be there for you", kelvin said with a fiery determination in his own eyes.

" I agree ",Alvin said with the same fiery determination in his eyes.

"Thanks guys", Xander said and they just smiled, and just then a female came in to inform the about something... it was about the duel.

" Xander, Sir Marcus wants me to inform you that he is ready for the duel in the training hall ",the female said and left.

Immediately Xander, kelvin and Alvin started heading towards the training Hall and gosh.... the place was jam packed with people or rather spectators.
