"Rise and shine buttercup it's school" my mom kissed my forehwad. "Take your meds before you go to school ok. I put them downstairs on the island"
"Morning" I mumbled.
"I am going to work" she kissed me one more time before walking out "Bye"
"Bye" I said but she was long gone to hear me. Outside still looked pretty dull, had me wondering what time it was. I checked the time on my phone. It was 6.45am. Why would she wake up so early.
I got out of bed and took a shower before finding an outfit. Like every other day of my life, I didn't know what to wear.
I walked through my closet, throwing out clothes trying to find something, until I came down to a ripped jeans and black hoodie. I kinda looked sketchy
Once I was done with everything I went downstairs to eat my breakfast. Justin was already eating his cereal. I paused and looked at me.
He sensed I was staring at turned around looking at me. We both squinted our eyes at each other.
"Seriously, we wearing the same out" I threw my hands in the air and groaned.
Justin also wore, a black hoodie, with ripped jeans and white sneakers. Perfect. Now we are dressing up the same.
"Go change your clothes" He looked at me and insisted.
"Why don't you go" I rolled my eyes and grabbed a box of cereal.
"I am the oldest" he stood up putting his bowl in the sink.
"By five minutes" I poured the cereal and milk into a bowl
"Mom left a note for you on the fridge" he walked away.
I walked over to the fridge and pulled off the note. 'Take your meds'
I groaned and grabbed the bottle off the table. I threw a few in my mouth and washed it down with water.
"You know you aren't supposed to take it like that" Justin came back. He was walking around with his phone in his hand and a smirk on his face.
I started eating my cereal and watched him. That smirk didn't leave his face.
"Hey Justin who are you talking to" I tried looking at his phone, but he moved it away from my view.
"None of your business"
"Just tell me, is it a girl" I nudged him.
"It's none of your business" he walked away.
I jumped off the stool and ran after him, grabbing the phone from his hand.
"I wonder who it is" I smiled looking at the chat.
"No Avery, give my phone" he shouted and I started running.
A: hey handsome
Justin: hey beautiful
A: wanna meet up some time after school.
Justin: yes, where?
A: at the library?
I tried reading on but Justin grabbed the phone out of my hand. I tried grabbing it back but he was holding me off
He put his hand against my forehead. Pushing me back.
"Where are my favorite twins, look at you guys" Amelia walked in.
"Are they dressed the same?" Daniel whispered.
Justin and I snapped our heads looking at them and stopped fighting.
"I always knew they were identical twins, but never thought they would take it this far with the identity" Amelia looked in between.
"They look cute don't you think" Daniel put his arm around her shoulder.
"Just like when we were kids" Amelia laughed.
"Why is your rat face friend and Daniel here?" Justin rolled his eyes.
"Hey buttercup, I am not a mirror" Amelia shouted out to Justin.
"Let's not insult each other, this morning" I grabbed a back pack and dragged my friends out with me.
Daniels car stood at the end of driveway." I call shotgun" I yelled before running off to the front seat.
"No fair" Amelia whined running after me.
I jumped into the front seat and Amelia got into the back. Daniel can strolling down the driveway.
"Hey pretty face, speed up" Amelia shouted out the window.
Daniel rolled his eyes. He took the keys out of his pocket before getting into the car.
We waited for him to start driving as he took his own seat time. That's one reason why Amelia hated him behind the wheel. He was too cautious and I was to reckless.
"So Ava, tell us about yesterday's date" Amelia cheered in the back seat.
"You went on a date with Blake" Daniel froze.
"Yes, we kinda seeing each other now" I smiled. "Anyways last night, there was a bit of tension in the house, but then we ended up going anyway. We took me to this experience restaurant that his parents owns. Then he walked me home like what they did back in the day. Then he kissed me on my front porch"
"Oh my gee" Amelia and I squealed at the same time.
"I know"
"my ear drums" Daniel cursed, trying to close his ear.
"Shut up and drive" Amelia kicked his seat.
I turned around explaining everything to Amelia in detail.
"We are here" Daniel groaned. "remind me not to drive with you in the morning"
"Danny" Jordan squealed and jumped into his arms.
Then they had a make out session against Daniels car.
"Don't look or your eyes are going to bleed" Amelia put her hands over my eyes shielding me as we walked away from the scene. "They are always down each other's throats"
"That's love for you" we walked through the doors. "You ever think of dating?"
I have never heard Amelia dating a guy, only hook ups and many one night stands.
"I don't like long term commitments, anyways fucking with a guy you'll never see again is way better" she chuckled.
I worry and her sometimes. We walked down to the locker and exchanged the books.
"Hey Avery" I heard a feminine voice behind me. I turned and saw Catherine with two other girls.
"Hey" I smiled.
"I was just reminding you of trails today" she smiled, showing her perfect teeth.
"Oh shoot, I forgot. I don't have anything to wear" I hit my hand against my forehead.
"Don't worry, I have extra. See you on the field" she smiled walking away.
"She's so toxic and irratating" Amelia whispered in my ear.
"That's what you say about everyone" I laughed dragging her along with me.
