Chapter 6: Changed

What's happen with him? After their return from their honeymoon, Peony starts to get a little suspicious of Arion. Arion's attitude changed. That's what made Peony a little suspicious of her husband.

"What's happen with him?" Peony muttered quietly in her room.

This is the second time, Arion doesn't have breakfast at home. Even these two days, he came home late at night. Actually Peony wants to ask Arion, if he really has a problem Peony is ready to be his vent. But Arion really looks like he's avoiding Peony.

"Ah… I should just bring lunch to his office later!" Peony said a little reassuringly.

Peony looked at the clock on the wall in her room, it was already 9:00. Peony came out of her room, and down the stairs to the kitchen. He immediately opened the refrigerator, checked some supplies of groceries.

"There are still a lot of groceries, Non." Said Mrs. Sari.

"Eh Bi, yes, I want to bring Mas Arion to lunch. Auntie help me cook Mas Arion's favorite food, okay?" asked Peony.

"Ready, No. What do you want to cook, Non, Chicken rica-rica or Rendang?" asked Bi Sari giving a choice of Arion's favorite food.

"It's like chicken rica-rica, Bi. The problem is that if the rendang is too long, "said Peony.

"Okay, No."

"Auntie wash the chicken, I'll prepare the seasoning!" said Peony.

After the activities in the kitchen were over and the food was ready, Peony immediately cleaned herself up, changed clothes and prepared to head to Arion's office. With Driver escorted, Peony headed for Arion's office. There was actually a bit of fear in Peony's heart, because this was the first time Peony had come to Arion's office. Peony was only afraid that Arion would be angry with her for interfering with her work.

Arion is a hard-working man, so he really understands how Arion's totality is in managing his family's Company. Even the Arion Company is more developed, while under the leadership of Arion. It took only 40 minutes, Peony arrived at Arion's office. Peony entered into a fairly luxurious office building. The building is owned by the Arion family, it's just that in the building there are several other companies that rent office buildings belonging to the Arion family. And Arion's own office is on floors 20-25, considering how fast Arion's business is right now. Peony approached the reception desk, to ask where Arion's room was. Even though Peony was now Arion's wife, Arion never told her anything about work.

"Excuse me Ma'am, I want to ask if Mr. Arion's room is on what floor?" Peony asked the Receptionist.

"What do you mean Mr. Arion from Jhonsons group,"

"Yes Ma'am, Mr. Arion is there?" Peony replied with a friendly smile.

"There is ma'am, but you have guests, ma'am!" Bella's information.

"Visitor? Who?" asked Peony a little curiously.

"Hmm.. Mr. Yoan, ma'am."

"Mr John? A business friend, sir?" asked Peony again.

"No, ma'am. College friend, Mr. But if you want to come in, come in, ma'am. It's okay!" said Bella.

"That's right, I'm in okay?" asked Peony a little doubtfully.

"It's okay, Mom, when you and your own wife, Mr. Arion, are angry!" said Bella.

"Okay, I'm in, Bell." Said Peony again and Bella nodded her head back. Peony hesitated a little, as she wanted to knock on Arion's door.

However, he dared to knock on the door. Knock... knock... knock. Peony knocked on Arion's door.

"Enter!" replied Arion from inside the room.

Peony gently pushed the door of Arion's room, "Peonies?" Arion said as his eyes looked towards the open door.

"M-mas, I brought you lunch." Peony replied a little nervously.

"Why bother? I can have lunch at the canteen," said Arion.

"But, I've cooked your favorite food, Mas!" said Peony, slightly disappointed by Arion's words.

"Ehem-hmm…." Yoan cleared his throat. Arion glanced at Yoan.

"Meet Yo, Peony My Wife." he said.

Yoan extended his hand to Peony and was greeted by Peony. "Yoan,"

"Peonies,"

"Wow, it's only right that you forbid me to play at your house!! It turns out that your wife is as beautiful as this." Yoan said trying to dilute the tense atmosphere between the husband-wife debate that was in front of him.

"Mas Yoan, you can do it!!" replied Peony smiling shyly.

"Yeah, you go home! I still have work, so I can't take you," said Arion.

Yoan just kept quiet and pretended to be busy with his cellphone, when he heard Arion's tone which seemed to drive Peony a little away.

"Okay, Mr. I'm home, but don't forget to finish your lunch, okay?" Peony replied still in her gentle fashion.

"Hmmm…." Only a sigh escaped Arion's mouth. Peony immediately stepped out of Arion's office.

Peony's heart ached, hearing Arion's words that seemed to drive her away in front of Yoan. Peony herself was confused, why after they returned from their honeymoon Arion changed his attitude.

'Why did you change, sir? Have you really loved me all this time?' Peony thought.

"Mom, are you going home?" Bella's question made Peony slightly surprised.

"Hey, Bella!! You're going to surprise me!"

"Hehehe… sorry, Mom!" said Bella.

"It's okay, you still have work to do, he said. So I just went straight home!" replied Peony.

Bella frowned slightly.

"Work?? But today, you don't have any other schedule," said Bella.

Deg!

Peony's heart aches when she finds out that Arion is lying to her. Apart from kicking him out in front of Yoan, Arion also lied to him.

"Is that so? Maybe you have business with Yoan, his friend who is inside." Peony said trying to cover up her disappointment.

"Oh, I see," said Bella.

"Yes, Bella, I'm going home first!" goodbye Peony.

Peony also contacted the driver, to wait in front of the lobby of the building. On the way to the lobby, Peony was still at war with her mind. Why did her husband change? And why did Arion lie to him? All in Peony's mind about why and what's wrong with Arion. Unknowingly Peony had arrived at the lobby of the building, from a distance she saw Mr. Imam and the driver who was waiting for her. Peony walked a little briskly to approach the Driver. Because her eyes were focused on the Driver, Peony didn't even notice that someone was walking with several piles of files, until they collided. Files were scattered on the lobby floor.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I walked carelessly!" said Peony as she picked up some scattered files without looking at the person she hit.

"Peonies…?" A few days later, at the official meeting of the two families, Arion said what his goal and desire was to marry the peony in front of the entire two families.

"My extended family and I came here wanting to ask the reunion if the pawn would marry me?" Arion's voice sounded very relaxed and there was no nervousness at all, it seemed that he had made up his mind to marry a peony.

The peony family must be very happy after hearing Arion's statement, as well as Arion's family. because the pianist and Arion's parents have been friends for a long time. They even had a plan when their children grew up they would marry them off. But they are not parents who like to match their children, for them, let the children themselves determine who has the right and they want to be their life companion. Especially Arion's parents, namely (name), are very happy and relieved because Arion is getting married now. Arion's parents are finally relieved, because their only son who they are proud of and they look forward to in their marriage has finally broken the chain of adversity after years of shutting down to be serious with women after breaking up due to being abandoned by his lover.

Since then Arion has a very different personality from before he doesn't believe in love anymore, even though many women are infatuated and chase him to become a partner or just want to seduce him, but Arion is not easily swayed by his stance, there have been many women whom he approached and knew, but none of them matched him. For Arion all women are just for fun, that makes the women in Arion's life only for warming his bed.
