Allen ventured into the pitch-black depths of the cave, where no light except for a few small fireflies illuminated the surroundings.

"It's really very dark," Allen silently pondered.

Then he opened his palm, revealing a pearl of light emitting a brilliant blue glow, which illuminated the path ahead.

"This is better." He nodded, feeling more at ease with the added light, and continued walking deeper into the cave.

Along the way, he didn't encounter anything particularly special or extraordinary, only rocks and some vegetation growing on the cave's edge.

"Strange, how can this cave look so ordinary, and I don't even find anything remarkable?" Allen mused, lowering his head in thought.

However, he suddenly sensed something in the forward direction that caught his attention, prompting him to quicken his pace until he reached the end of the cave.

Curiously, he focused the pearl of light in his hand forward and discovered a large door adorned with golden patterns on each side.

"What is this door?" He frowned and cautiously touched it while observing its intricate designs.

Then he pointed the pearl of light upward, and immediately something astonishing came into view.

"This is a magic pattern?!" Allen stepped back slightly, becoming highly alert.

He hadn't expected to encounter a magic pattern embedded in the door, and he was fortunate not to have accidentally activated it.

Such an activation could have triggered a trap connected to the magic pattern and potentially caused him harm.

As the name suggests, a magic pattern is a series of structures of magic cast by a [Mage] and forms the foundation of magic itself.

All magic possesses a magic pattern, and a [Mage] must learn and understand the basis of these patterns in order to master different forms of magic.

Usually, magic at the one- to five-star level has a relatively simple structure and pattern, making it easier to comprehend.

However, magic above the five-star level becomes exceedingly complex and challenging to learn due to intricate patterns.

Allen took a deep breath, calming himself down as he assessed the situation.

"I really didn't expect to find a mythical-level magic pattern attached to this door..." Allen murmured as he cautiously advanced, pointing the pearl of light in his hand towards the top of the door.

These realms of magic surpassed the understanding of most people in this world, except for those who had attained the highest class level as a [Mage], such as Great Wizards and those who had transcended Beyond the World level.

"Now I take back my words that there is nothing special about this cave." Allen chuckled and shook his head, feeling a bit embarrassed about his previous assumption.

However, he quickly shifted his focus to the task at hand: breaking the magic pattern on the door to explore the secrets of the cave.

"But how can I break this magic pattern that is so unfamiliar to me?" Allen stared intently at the complex magic pattern on the large door, pondering his next steps.

"Alright, time to start!" He took a deep breath, closed his eyes, and concentrated.

"Activate the function, appraisal!" He whispered softly, opening his eyes to focus on the intricate magic pattern.

Immediately, a light formed in his vision, creating an information panel with valuable insights.

Yet he acknowledged that the other six heroes in each kingdom were no better, as their actions had led to similar fates for their respective kingdoms.

Regrettably, not every kingdom had someone like him who dared to challenge the dominance of the heroes.

"When the time comes, not only the heroes summoned by Eldoria but also the remaining six heroes will probably become my enemies," Allen said with a faint smile.
