We arrived at the relegated walls very close to the barricaded cells.
"Ustra, I'd like to walk slowly behind you. I'm very scared, I... Don't know"
Ustra ignored as she hopped out.
"MAINE-HAN-SHALAL!"
Every guard around the vicinity fell on their knees.
"Bring the captives to me," Ustra ordered with fierceness in her voice that gave no accessable atmosphere to anyone, she looked completely different.
I only stood there, slightly behind her.
Shivering to my spine.
I watched as they truped out of the cell.
I couldn't help but notice Sonia, Petra and my stepmother Brianna were missing already.
That spelt doom.
I tried hopping on my feet. I stood on my toes even harder.
My shaking legs almost turned jelly when I realized they were truly not there,
" I'm doomed!" I whispered to myself.
Ustra yelled with great fury,
"Why would you let them output without notifying me first?"
One of the armies moved forward on his knees quickly.
"My lord, prince Fyren was ready to behead us all. He command no one leaves this place or we die at instant." He said, as profuse tears rolled down his cheeks.
"And why didn't Agrabos report this to me?"
Ustra moved her head side ways.
I think she was looking around to see if he would crawl out.
"Prince Fyren asked his guards to bind him,as we speak my lord I know he is at prince Fyren's quarters"
Ustra kept quite for some minutes and eventually spoke.
"I..."she shivered with burning fury.
Ustra turned her face towards me,
I could see how much she felt pained and how strongly she shut her eyes.
she turned her face back at them.
I think she observed for a while the other werewolf members.
I never know what was on her mind but I felt she wasn't comfortable with the sight either.
I never wanted to have a direct contact with any of them.
All I could think of at moment was what my stepmother Brianna, would do to me if things ever turned right at prince Fyren's end.
Since myian my stepmother's brother was with prince Fyren all through the court meeting.
"He must have seen me." I thought
"what will I do now?." I muttered.
"I doubt Ustra could ever save me from any of this. " I cringed the more.
"Y o u a l l a r e d i s m i s s e d" U s t r a s a i d.
"I only have business with the house of Beta. You all were just a means used in exchange for what I demanded, you're no longer useful to me."
Ustra turned fiercely, she headed for the couch.
Damien approach me,
"your sisters left us here. And your mother never cared! ...even you! " He yelled.
His eyes ran from my head to my toes.
"And huh... All thanks to you and your miserable family, my sick mother is now dead!.
So we had to sleep in this rotten cells because they used us as a means? Means of what?!. At our detriment?!" He slammed his hands over his chest.
"And you? You have now become some friend to this person?"
He wiped his face with his shirt and yelled again,
"You Betas are the worst betrayals I'd ever seen!"
"Betrayals?, Coming from you?" I thought.
"And never forget this, someday when you all will come back crawling on your knees, we will not take you back.
Not even you Tanya, you are the worst of them all!"
He spat on my face and walked off.
I stood there numb,
I felt so sorry as I watched them walk away slowly. while some ran as fast as they could, just like life headless chicken.
Even Claynon, my father's old friend said nothing to me.
I felt really ashamed.
My eyes became so blurry with tears.
Our pack has been together for a very long time and now? that strong, united and maybe sometimes peaceful community is shattered in pieces.
I never had a specific friend amidst them but they gave me a sense of belonging.
The people of my own and my type, I've heard of how my father Beta Ezra had fought hard to bring everyone together.
I Still didn't get the whole story though, but it's too late to ask anyone around now.
I don't know exactly who to blame.
Maybe Ustra, for attacking us, which in turn favoured me to an extent. At least, I would have more reasons to be alive until we get to prince Fyrens'.
Or my stepmother?
For failing to settle whatsoever she had with Ustra amicably rather than putting everyone out here and leaving them behind.
And worst still, the vengeful imprint left on Damien.
"Tanya?" Ustra called, just behind me.
She moved closer to me and embraced me.
"I'm so sorry Tan." she said.
I really couldn't help the tears.
my conciousness wasn't in the present.
All I c o u l d remember w e r e those night father would call everyone out with aloud whistle just so they could dance round the fire.
The joy ,excitement and all. It's all gone now.
I had a feeling like we were seperating for the rest of our lives.
It felt like things had suddenly changed and I've become the lost but never found needle in the hay sack.
I couldn't hold back the tears anymore I allowed the ocean of tears pour down my cheeks.
I w e p t aloud the more.
"You are all i have got!." l wept the more.
I knew Ustra wasn't going to let that go down quietly.
We arrived before a very big castle situated on the south side of a deserted island.
The misty and foggy atmosphere made the environment quite peaceful.
I never knew a place like that ever existed around.
