A close shave

The beast turned to my direction.

There was no need to run, it will surely catch up with me.

An idea struck me,

I remembered prince Fyren and Ustra's fight.

And my experience with the seven cracked-winged creature,

probably that would save me again.

I imitated prince Fyren,

The beast stopped moving forward as a long, sharp sword emernated from my hand and slit the monster's neck.

The radiating light went down.

I just stood numb, I didn't know what to do or say.
