The Original Heretic (1st of the series)

Reborn as the younger twin of Freya, he was by far the most dangerous original sibling out there. In his previous life he was an avid fan of the vampire diaries and the originals spin offs.

I ignored the time hijinks by the angels and Dean a week later and continued my meditation. A couple days later Sam sent me a prayer asking for assistance with a Rugaru. I teleported there and asked him as I did so. "What's the problem this time?"

I ignored the new guy that was asking how I showed up like that. Sam sighed. "I need your help in convincing him to fight the urges."

I turned to the soon to be Rugaru. "If you don't fight it, you'll end up eating your wife and neighbors. Then you'll expand outwards killing and eating people until either the cops put you down in a hail of gun fire or hunters do."

The poor guy gulped. "What are you then?"

Dean answered him. "He's a god. Which means he can literally drop you with a mere thought, I think."

I snorted and the human meat machine asked. "If you're a god, can't you just make me not be a Rugaru?"

I shrugged and laid a hand on his forehead. I drained the Rugaru DNA out of him. The only thing magical about him now was his soul. I had to repair the broken DNA strands with new ones that wouldn't give him a blood disorder. After a couple minutes I let him go.

Sighing I said. "There, you're no longer a Rugaru. You should be happy, if you'd have fed on a human, you'd be dead from this process. Your body would've been more monster than human."

I turned to the house. "Your wife is home, you should know she's pregnant. The child will be a Rugaru as well. I can't change it while in the womb as it'll kill the fetus. Don't worry, Rugarus only change once they've passed on their genetic marker. Kind of like a surefire way of hiding until more are there to replace them."

He paled. "Can you come back when the baby's born?"

I shrugged. "We'll see. For now though, Sam and Dean need to stop the hunter they came with and you need to keep all this a secret. I'm sure they'll give you a way to contact them once the baby is born."

He backed away. "I give you my word I won't say anything."

I nodded and turned to the boys. "Anything else before I go?"

They shook their heads. "Nope, we're good."

I nodded again. "Good luck with the old hunter. And make sure he doesn't kill this family, they're innocent."

I teleported home with that and returned to my meditation. I didn't receive another prayer from the Winchester's or Bobby until Halloween day. Then both boys prayed form my help in finding the witch that was killing people.

I gave them the ability to see magic as it were. After a trippy experience on their part, the boys managed to kill both witches before they could summon the demon. At the stroke of midnight, I removed the ability they prayed for. That confused the angels for a while as they'd been proven wrong.

I kept an eye on Sam and Dean after that and when they were heading out on their next mission, I sent Victor and Nancy to meet up with them. They had orders to bring back the Babylonian coin for me. Anubis was waiting in the wings not far from them to ensure it came back as well.

With them on the case, I could continue my meditation in peace. Three days later they came back coin in tow and a story about a perverted boy and a suicidal teddy bear. I chuckled at their story and told them it wasn't the craziest thing I'd ever seen. When Victor handed me the coin, he asked. "Why'd you need it so much anyway?"

I looked to Anubis who smiled and answered him. "The coin grants wishes that turn out wrong, but for gods like Alex, they can drain the energy it has stored up from all the chaos it's caused. Assuming Tiamat hasn't used it to feed in a great long while-"

I grinned as I felt the energy. "She hasn't. It hasn't been fed on in eons."

Anubis grinned. "Then he'll be able to drain it of magic and use it to strengthen us."

I chuckled. "Or more likely you. I can use it to strengthen and grow our souls, true, but it won't work on me till I've healed, so I'll use half the power in it to help you for now and save the rest for me later."

Anubis nodded. "I'll need to save up and store it all like you did last time, so I can ascend in one step."

I sighed. "It's the downside of these bodies. They give away our ascension when we try to go for it. Don't worry too much though, I should be healed by the time you're ready to take that step. I'll defend you as you've done me my friend."

He bowed. "As you say my lord, then I shan't worry."

I drained half the coin's power and waved him closer. He came foreword and I put my hand on his head. The energy from the coin was purified with my curse and siphoned off into Anubis, who now had his eyes closed. When I was done, I waved a hand and sent him to his room.

Seeing the confused looks on Victor and Nancy I sighed. "It'll take a while for him to stabilize himself. Until then you can either take some time off and head to town for some relief and fun or take on a new case. Either way, it's up to you."

They decided to take a week off and blow off some steam. Nancy went into town to make a call to her family and let them know she's alive and happy. Victor hung around to ask where I got the funds they were spending on their hunting trips.

When he asked if I was stealing them, I laughed my ass off. "I'm a god! Other than punishing drug dealers and mobsters for the fun of it, I don't need to steal from mortals. Though I do take gold and jewels from dragons, I can always just turn the ground you stand on into gold or literally crush Cole into diamonds."

I took him to the treasure vault which was literally a planet of gold and jewels. I told him. "This entire planet your standing on is solid gold. Mountains of jewels and gems abound. Rivers and oceans of gold make up the seas here. This is all in a pocket dimension I keep in my ring I call my treasure vault. I have other vaults of weapons and magical artifacts as well."

He looked stunned so I took him out. "As you can see, I don't need to steal from mortals to get what I want. The money you use on your hunts is supplied from gold I trade or money I take from terrorists and drug cartels. Either way, it goes to protecting humanity, so don't worry so much."

He nodded slowly. "That actually helps a lot. Thanks for that."

I nodded. "Actually, I was thinking of you using those same funds to turn hunting into a business. You and Nancy could run it and pay the other hunters to bring in monster corpses and trapped ghosts with the cases Anubis uses. Each dead monster would be worth five hundred and each ghost would be worth say, seven hundred. I'll fund it completely of course. Demons would be worth a grand even and the ghost traps would work on them as well. Of course the stronger demons would be worth more. As would the stronger monsters."

He nodded. "I'll talk it over with Nancy and get back to you."

I sighed. "Take your time. In the meantime, take a vacation."

I turned and headed back to my room for a meditation session. As it was, meditating was only helping stabilize my soul so it would heal easier when I do heal. Over the next few weeks I heard Sam and Dean pray for various powers ranging from strength, to smiting. When I'd finally gotten tired of their needless prayers, I sent them both a message.

(If you're just playing with my powers, I'll stop answering your prayers.)

When they both prayed next, I teleported to them. They were in Bobby's junk yard fighting each other. I arrived and they stopped. Sam spoke first. "Sorry about the constant prayers, but we're just trying to get used to using those abilities."

I rubbed my forehead. "I'm not here for you both to use like a power up. They're only for emergencies, now either stop praying for no reason, or I'll stop answering. My powers aren't for you to get used to."

I teleported back home and didn't receive a prayer from them until a week later. They asked for healing and protection, which I gave easily enough. I sent Victor and Nancy to them as well and watched on my tv. Anubis was still busy, so I watched alone.

Apparently they found the fallen angel Anna. And were systematically beaten by Alistair. Ruby had managed to escape with Anna and Sam and Dean jumped out a window of a three story church. I watched as they healed each other and Victor stood guard with Nancy.

They had demon blades of their own ready and shared them with the boys. Dean had left the original in Alistair's shoulder, so they were down a blade. Once they were healed, Ruby came in with a maids body. She told them where the fallen angel was and Victor told her. "We'll be there in a second. Just go back."

Ruby left and Victor clasped his hands in prayer. "Heretic god, we ask that you send us to the location she spoke of."

I felt the prayer and gave him the ability to teleport temporarily. His head tipped back with the knowledge of how to use it before telling the others. "Gather together, we're going to teleport there. Each of you grab my arms."

They did so and he focused on the car as well that was outside. I sent him the extra power to pull it off or he'd have killed himself in the attempt. Moments later they were standing outside the cabin with Dean's car as well. Dean spoke up. "Damn, and he gets pissed that we wanted to train with his abilities."

Victor snorted. "Yeah, but I bet you didn't ask for powers to train with and only asked for powers in general. It's a matter of perspective. If you just ask for powers, he gives you full access to his abilities. If you ask for training powers, he'll give you the minimum to get used to. It's the difference between asking for a flashlight and the sun. Can't always ask for the sun, Dean."

Sam caught on and looked go smacked. Nancy smiled. "Now your catching on. He's trying to heal and you're constantly asking for his full power. You're lucky he hasn't banned you from asking for them at all."

Sam sighed. "Damn, no wonder he was pissed."

Victor chuckled. "Just give him a few weeks to gather and stabilize his powers before you ask for something taxing again. Until then, we're here to help anyway. He's set aside powers for our use and only newer ones like teleporting us and a car drains him a little."

I watched and didn't comment on their guesses and answers. When the angels arrived demanding Anna, Victor told them. "You may be winged warriors, but you're not getting the girl, leave now while you still can."

Uriel sneered. "A mud monkey like you threatening us, laughable."

Victor smiled. "Take how you want, but I guarantee you're not going to like the results if you continue to stay here."

Castiel looked at him curiously. "Where do you get your confidence from?"

Nancy showed him her prayer pendant. "The Heretic God protects us, his powers give us strength."

I felt her prayer and released the flood gates. I watched as power rolled off her and Victor. It was nearly tangible now. Uriel sneered. "Some pagan worshipers think they can stand against the night of heavens armies? I'll smite you down for your heresy."

Victor and him collided and Uriel was sent flying through the wall and out the cabin. Nancy turned to Castiel. "You cannot win this time. Leave now or face his wrath."

Uriel came back wounded and leaking grace. Victor held up the necklace he was wearing before with Anna's grace in it. "This looks important, I think I'll keep it. Now leave before I get mean."

A second later a burst of angel power flew out from the back room where Anna was hiding and they were flashed away. Anna came out as Victor put away the necklace. She told them. "We need to leave, that won't keep them away for long. We need to find somewhere safe."

Dean spoke up turning to Victor. "Bobby's place is safe enough, at least until we can find out why they want her so badly. Think you can take us there like you did last time?"

Victor nodded. "I still have access, though you'll all have to grab on."

He held out his arms and they each grabbed on to him. Ruby did so as well at the last minute. He teleported them and the car to Bobby's and they let go. I took away the ability and he told them. "Looks like that was the last of the help we'll get from him. He just revoked the ability and the knowledge to use it. We're on our own from now on."

Watched as they set up Anna in the panic room and called in Pamela. When she arrived, after flirting with the boys and now Victor, she did a hypnotherapy treatment on Anna. When it worked, Anna told them she was a fallen angel.

From there they set out to find her grace. I'm sure she'd have found it sooner if Victor wasn't covered in my aura which masked its presence. They found where her grace touched down and found it missing when they arrived. Dean cut himself off a slice of angel food cake that night. The next day the angels sent the message that if he didn't turn her over to them, they'd toss him back in the pit.

Victor told him. "Don't worry about it. If they try, just send a prayer for protection."

Then came the planning. That night at Bobby's, Ruby scampered off time get Alistair and Dean took them to the barn where they planned the confrontation. When Anna went to give herself up, Alistair showed up threatening the angels with his demon groupies.

Victor and Nancy prayed for shields and pulled the boys behind them as both sides fought. I sent Victor the idea that the grace he had was Anna's and he tossed it to her. "This might be yours. I took it from him at the cabin."

She smiled and crushed it at her feet as Uriel bounced off the shield Nancy prayed for. Castiel was about to be cast out by Alistair, and Dean hadn't interfered, so I sent some power to Nancy and she raised her hand, sending Alistair into the ground like he was hit by the hulk.

His body was crushed a little and he was clearly in agony now. A crater formed from the impact of his body. I released the power as Anna yelled. "Code your eyes!"

I teleported to the barn and watched her ascend to angel status again. Whispering. "Beautiful. Truly a unique path to power. To bad there's a limit for that path."

I teleported away with the humans and took them to Bobby's. If the angels and demons wanted to continue fighting it out, they'd be doing it by themselves. I saw Alistair crawl out and teleport away just as we left.

I left them on Bobby's doorstep and took Victor and Nancy home. "If the demons give you trouble send a prayer. As for the angels, I doubt they'd do anything to you either way."

I left them thinking on that and went home. Nancy and Victor left three days later on another hunt and I went back to meditating. Two months passed in the blink of an eye. Nancy and Victor had started organizing the hunters together and paying them for their kills and captures.

Anubis had finally woken up and began helping them bring in demon souls and ghosts. He made several jars and urns to absorb the spirits and trap them inside. Demons, once they fled their hosts or were exorcised, were sucked inside them as well.

I made a mini version of my ring that had a limited amount of space and filled it with gold and jewels for payment. The hunters association officially began in force. Victor used my name and contacts to set the ground work for everything. Demon blades were spread out amongst the members in case of emergencies and protection amulets that were stored in the bunker were passed around.

The bunker became the main base for the hunters around the US. Knowledge on monsters and demons was copied and disseminated amongst everyone. Within those two months, it became a full blown operation. Victor used his old contacts to sell off the gems and gold for cash and started paying the hunters for their kills and captures.

When I left the bunker, it had become the epicenter of change for the humans. Anubis was consuming the corpses and essence to strengthen his body and spirit, while the souls and demonic essence was left to me.

I arrived at a curious little town that was experiencing a lack of death for want of a better explanation. I hid my presence as people would immediately start dying again if I hadn't. I arrived at the funeral home and ignored the angel warding as I walked in.

I found Sam and Dean in spirit form behind an iron chain and Alastair was about to kill his second reaper. I waved a hand and sent him crashing into the ceiling. "Ah,ah,ah. No means no."

He dropped the scythe and I caught it before stowing it away. I snapped my fingers and the seal broke, releasing the reaper and she freed Sam and Dean. I left Alastair there as I followed Dean and the reaper out. I teleported to their side and the reaper looked at me warily. I smiled to her. "Relax, I'm not here to harm you. Go, do your job, though leave Pamela alone, she stays."

Dean frowned as the reaper left. "What's wrong with Pamela?"

I shrugged. "She got knifed. Sam's there with her now and he should be asking for healing powers in a second, if he's smart that is."

Alastair showed up and I teleported to Pamela. Sam looked like he was lost. I slapped him upside the head. "Seriously, you have a god on tap and you act slack jawed while your friends are dying. Dumb ass."

I waved a hand and healed her. She stood up and lifted her shirt before saying. "Thanks handsome, though I'd prefer you not be so hard on him. I was prepared to go."

I snorted. "His lack of common sense will get someone killed the way he is now. Anyway-"

Dean woke up with a gasp. "Ouch, shit that hurts!"

I chuckled. "That's why newbies shouldn't play around with magic. I'll be heading out now, the reaper is picking up speed. She should be done in an hour or two."

Dean spoke up. "The angels captured Alastair."

I shrugged. "Not my problem. I don't get into angel business. Keep me out of it. Last time was a little close for my taste."

Pamela spoke up. "That goes double for me. Next time you boys need a favor, don't call me. I ain't dying for this crap, today was as close as I ever want to get."

I teleported away and went to the bunker. In my place two cards fell on the beds. They were Victor and Nancy's idea of business cards. When I arrived, I set the scythe in the armory of the bunker. Anubis appeared next to me. "Are you sure it wise to keep that here? It's owner is still alive."

I shrugged. "It'll go to him when the time is right. Until then, it's safe here."

He nodded and looked at it wearily for a minute before following me out. He gave me a ring full of demon and ghost souls. I drained it in seconds and tossed it back to him. I went back to meditating to adapt and absorb the souls fully and use them to heal myself. Three months later, I felt the final seal break.

I turned my gaze from my bedroom wall to the distance. I saw how it all went down and sighed to myself. For the passed three months I'd been answering prayers from all the hunters and even the boys subconsciously. I hadn't really woken up from my meditation till now.

I found Castiel dead and Sam and Dean at the site of the cage doors. I sent them to a plane not far away and pulled Castiel together. That was a doozy on it's own. Luckily I'd seen how angels were put together when Anna ascended.

While technically he was dead, he wasn't human to start with. His soul, as it were, was made up of energy that was dispersed throughout the universe on its destruction. I simply pulled that exact energy back together.

Like I'd thought before, an interesting path to power, but it was limited to the reality it was in. A special piece of him was being pulled into another dimension but I wrestled it away and put it back good as new. I even gave him a bit of energy from the other recently dead angels. The rest, I gathered for myself and consumed.

He reformed in a field not far from Lucifers doors. When I was done, I went back to my body and stayed there. I watched as things played out there for awhile before I headed to the dimension I'd felt was trying to take pieces of Castiel.

When I found it, it was at the very far corners of the universe. I stepped inside and found it an endless abyss of blackness. Something about it called to me, I felt a hunger like no other explode from inside me and it began consuming the dimension.

A being of darkness came forward and turned into Castiel. "What are you doing here? NO! This isn't right, you're not supposed to exist!"

My hunger grew and grew until the entire dimension, dark shadow and all was absorbed into me. I was left back in the supernatural universe. I didn't feel any different than before. It hadn't healed me, so I ignored it for now and went back to earth.

I went into meditation and let my hunters do their jobs. A week later I got pulled out of my meditation for a prayer I'd decided not to answer. Bobby was praying to be healed. Sighing I teleported to him in the hospital.

He'd just sent Sam and Dean away with Castiel. I appeared and sat on the bed next to his wheelchair. "So I'm called on as a last resort now? I feel slighted."

Bobby grumbled. "Just heal me, please!"

I turned to him and frowned. "No, I don't think I will. At least, not just yet anyway."

It was his turn to frown now. "What the hell is that supposed to mean?"

I chuckled. "Relax Bobby, of the four of you idiots, I like you best. I'm not going to leave you in the cold as it were. I'm going to give you a challenge. In a few months there's going to be a case you'll want to get in on. I'll make a deal with you. You stop trying to get others to heal you till then, and I'll heal you then and give you a bonus. I'll return you to your prime and give you a permanent bonus power up."

Bobby looked furious and spiteful till I finished talking. "All I gotta do is live like this for a few months then I'm healed?"

I nodded. "And then some. Like I said, I'll return you to your prime. You'll be decades younger and a heck of a lot stronger. I'll even throw in some bonus years so you'll stay that young till you're ready to grow old."

He nodded slowly thinking to himself for a bit. He finally spoke. "And what do you get out of it?"

I sighed. "It'll teach you some humility. I spent a very long time as a impaired person. I couldn't get angry without slaughtering everyone near me. I'd literally flayed my own soul and it'd broke my mind in the process. From that, I learned to treat every day since then like it was a miracle. When I was finally healed, I felt that everything about life was so much better. I'm hoping you'll feel something similar and think more clearly about your options before you take them."

I stood up and held out a hand. "I'm no cross road demon, so I won't make it a deal, but how bout a bet. If you lose, I'll still heal you, but you won't get the extra bonus prizes. If you win, I'll even throw in a favor to be named at your leisure. It can be anything, up to and including bringing you back from the dead if you're killed before you're ready to go on."

He took my hand. "Fine, you have yourself a bet."

I nodded with a smile. "Very well, in that case, just remember, no seeking out healers until the case plops into your lap. Then, send me a prayer, and I'll be there."

I teleported to the bunker and told Anubis to watch the Winchester boys and see if they'd be willing to sell their kills for our going rates. As I was, gods were worth twenty grand for their bodies, demons were worth two grand a soul, while everything else was cheaper unless it was unique. The hunters that worked for Victor and Nancy now added up to a hundred people.

Each one was earning a lot of extra cash as they only had to capture, or if they couldn't do that, simply send a prayer. And they'd loose a hundred bucks for each bounty. Anubis was having the time of his existence now. He was even sharing his meals with Hades.

I didn't exactly have a problem with that either, so I occasionally shared mine with him as well. Nothing much, only a hand full of spirits here or there. It wasn't a week later when the hunters Bobby called for were sent out to hunt some demons on Sam's recommendation.

They were praying for backup and strength almost as soon as they began the hunt. I sent both. Thirty hunters went in as backup and brought back eleven demon souls. The three that ran the hunt to start off with quit working with us the same day. I shrugged it off and brought back the hunters that went to save their asses.

They brought back their prizes and traded them in for the cash. It was a thirty way split so they didn't get much, but no one died. Two weeks later Anubis brought back the body of a woodland god the wonder twins killed. They sold it to him for twenty grand and tried to kill him before he told them he was with me.

Not that they would've succeeded anyway, but it's the thought that counted. Anubis ate the god and shared its essence with Hades. I had my eyes on a bigger prize myself. I followed the boys on their next hunt.

I arrived in town just as they did and felt out the owner of the serious power there. It wasn't god level power, but it was at the very least on the level of a seriously powerful archangel. I found the boy long before the brothers did.

He was sitting alone inside his house watching tv. I teleported inside and made myself visible to him. I held up my hands. "Relax kid, I'm not here to hurt you, I just want to talk."

He looked afraid. "How did you get in here? Why are you here?"

I sighed. "I teleported inside. I'm here to talk and if you want, I'd like to make an offer that will keep your family safe."

I waved a hand and a chair appeared. I sat down and his eyes went wide. "How did you do that?"

I smiled. "I'm a god. There's not much I can't do. Making a chair is easy, heck, I bet you could do it too if you wanted to."

He frowned and tried for a second and another chair appeared next to mine. He went bug eyed. "Am I a god too?"

I chuckled and shook my head. "No, but you do have some decent powers."

He frowned. "Then what am I?"

I sighed. "To some, you're a weapon. To others, a tool. To me, you're a kid. But if you want to know how you got those powers, it's because your birth mother was possessed by a demon when she gave birth to you. You're half demon and half human, but stronger than both."

He teared up. "I don't want to be half demon!"

I shrugged. "If you were more demon than human I wouldn't be able to do anything, but since it's half, I can replace the corrupted DNA in you with a humans. It would make you full human, but you'd loose your abilities."

He shook his head. "I don't care."

I nodded. "Fine, who do you want to be your father?"

He frowned. "I already have a father and a mother."

I chuckled. "Very well, I'll be right back."

I teleported upstairs and rummaged around till I found some hairs from the kids stepfather. I came back downstairs and sat before him. "Close your eyes and drift to sleep. By the time you wake up, you'll be fully human."

He closed his eyes and I helped him drift off as I began changing every molecule of DNA in his body to match his soon to be birth father. After an hour, Sam and Dean showed up. When they came in and saw me, I told them what I was doing and they watched till I finished.

We left while the kid was still asleep and I walked them to their car. "Don't worry, I reversed all the damage he did. He was just a kid that believed everything he was told. His powers manifested and made those beliefs a reality. I've cloaked him and his family from demonic eyes in case they come looking for him again. He's a harmless human now."

Sam asked. "Why'd you do that though?"

I snorted. "There's no way he'd last long against Lucifer it any other archangel. He's just a kid and I wasn't about to subject him to the horrors of war."

Dean nodded. "You did the right thing."

I nodded and Sam still looked stubborn so I told him. "He asked me to make him human Sam. I told him the ugly truth of what he was and he wanted no part of it. But hey, at least he made the wise decision."

Sam frowned and asked. "What's that supposed to mean?"

I sighed. "You gave in to your darkness. Dean fights his, the poor kid was wiser than the both of you. Sometimes, the wisest thing you can do is deny evil the battle at all. Don't fight, yet don't give in. Take the middle road of no contest. For Dean, it would be to except his passed in hell and move on. For you, the wisest thing you could do is stop obsessing over what you've done."

"Take my advice, shit happens. It happens to the best and the worst of us. Hell, it happens equally. Boo hoo, you're a demon blood addict. You killed Lilith and jump started the apocalypse. Well guess what? You're not the first, and you sure as hell won't be the last. There are a literal infinite number of realities out there that are experiencing the apocalypse of their own."

"Guess what? You sure as hell didn't start them. And for your information, the angels have been planning this moment for two thousand years. That means even if you didn't want to do it, some other poor sap would've done it In your place."

I finished my rant and turned to Dean. "The more you push him away, the more likely it is he's going to say yes to Lucifer, not that I care really, cause I'd smite him if he did."

Sam backed away and Dean asked. "You can do that?"

I nodded. "Easily. I can smite god if I wanted to. Just FYI, the fact that the world is still spinning means the god of this reality is still alive. And by the way, I personally think he's a bigger dick then Lucifer. I'll see you around. Leave the poor kid alone and don't go looking into it too much, you'll attract unwanted demon attention."

I teleported to my place and absorbed the energy I took from the kid. My soul healed five percent from it all. Two weeks later I got a prayer from Bobby and met him at an underground poker game. When I teleported in, Bobby introduced me to the witch.

After a round of pleasantries, the witch asked if I'd like to play a game. Smiling, I sat down. "Sure, but you don't have enough power to wager my lifespan against yours."

He looked confused. "You're clearly not human. So, what are you? Demon?"

I shook my head. "Let's just say I'm immortal and unkillable and leave it at that. As for lifespans, I'll play with Bobby's. Fifty years to match. If you can win more than that, I'll give you a grimoire I have that would boost your power considerably. Bringing back the dead would be a parlor trick after you master it's pages."

He raised an eyebrow and I snapped my fingers. The book in question appeared in my hand. "It's blood bound to my wives and I. I'll key you in and give it to you if you win."

He nodded. "Then we have a game."

An hour later I stood up saying. "We're done here. I'm not going to rob you of the youth you have now. You're almost out of years now."

I waved and and transferred some of the years I'd won into Bobby. He looked younger and stronger now. I waved another hand and healed him. He stood up and I did a small spell on the chips before passing the stacks to him. "Just tsp one to your forehead to make yourself younger by a year. You have enough to stay this way for the rest of your natural lifespan."

I turned to the witch and waved a hand. The rest of the pile slid to him. "It really wasn't a fair game. I can see through solid objects and make the cards be whatever I want them to be. I only need this much to pay my debt with him. The rest you can have back."

I pulled out a spell and handed it to him. "This will bring back a loved one for a day. If you add on your poker spells, you should be able to extend the persons life by however many years you're willing to give up. Keep it, it'll only work once before it becomes useless. Instructions are on the back. By the way, I'd leave town if I were you. And no playing with Sam or Dean Winchester. Though, if you do get tired of this game, I wouldn't mind training you and your girl, your both still young. Look me up if you do get tired that is."

I walked out with Bobby and ran into Dean. When he saw Bobby, I laughed at his expression. "Don't be so shocked, I'm pretty good at card games."

He was still staring at Bobby's face. Bobby himself asked. "So, how do I look?"

Dean finally snapped out of it to answer. "Like your twenty six. Bobby, what the hell happened?"

Bobby answered him with a smile. "Alex here played cards on my behalf. He won me a few years back and a little extra to stay this way."

I snorted. "Alright, now I'll give you your real reward."

I bit my finger and tapped his forehead. A drop of my blood went inside his skin. It had all the Alteran upgrades. When it was finished, I pulled away and he asked. "What the heck was that?"

I smiled. "An upgrade. Don't worry, you're still completely human. I just evolved you a little further down the natural path of evolution. This time tomorrow you'll be a lot better a certain things. If your lucky, you'll get a healing gift or telekinesis. Something useful in your line of work. Nancy got pyrokinesis and Victor got the healing touch, I don't imagine yours will be much different."

Dean asked. "Wait, are you saying humans naturally become psychic?"

I nodded. "Sure, it's natural in some. Though it's not in Sam. The kids yellow eyes bled into evolved, but the process made them lean towards evil. The less he uses it, the less likely he'll go dark as it were. As for Bobby, that was a gift. Nothing dark about it. Though he'll have to adjust and get used to it, he won't go dark, well, not any darker than the he would have without it."

Dean held out his arms and I chuckled. "You're funny Dean. I'm not gonna just give you a gift like that. You have to earn it. Bobby did when he decided to stop trying to be healed and lived with his crippled body for a few months. Victor and Nancy did when they experienced their worst nightmares come to life for the first time. It takes wisdom and growth to adjust, you aren't there yet. I suggest you leave the nearly thousand year old witches alone. They'll be leaving town tomorrow and I know you'll only piss them off. They don't kill people, they simply play the game."

I teleported to the bunker and left them to decide what to do from there. A month later I got a call from Bobby saying they were going to ice the Devil. I teleported to his place with a few hundred colts. He and the rest of them looked confused until I told them. "Remember the demon blade? I'm thinking about doing the same thing here."

Dean handed me the colt reluctantly and I sighed. "Well, for one thing, this won't kill the devil."

I copied the runes and spell work on all the guns before storing most of them in my vault. I handed Dean back his colt and passed around one each to everyone. "Lucifer is an archangel. You'd need an archangel blade to kill him, or something similar in power."

I looked around to all their sad faces and sighed. "Sorry to be the downer, but that's the truth. There are five things in all of creation these guns can't kill. Archangels happen to be one of them. Primordial beings like god, me, gods sister, Death and the empty are another kind."

Dean frowned. "What are the others?"

I shrugged. "Knights of hell. Nasty bastards the lot of them. Then Leviathans and finally hells most savage creature, the Shedim. Not demons per say, more of like evil creatures so bad even Lucifer is afraid of them. God locked them up in hell because they were so evil, he didn't want them to see the light of day. Anyway, there you have it. All five beings on the list."

Jo spoke up. "So were not killing the devil then."

I shook my head. "Not unless you've got something a lot stronger than these guns."

I waved a hand and cases of bullets were brought out of my vault and left on the table. I turned to Castiel. "Now that you're all here, I guess it's only fair to tell you I'm the one that put you back together again. I figured you shouldn't die from trying to help Dean save the world. Especially not when it could've been avoided."

Castiel frowned. "If you put me back together, then you should be able to at least fight Lucifer-"

I snorted. "If I fight Lucifer, which wouldn't be much of a fight cause I'd just rip him apart, God would step in and yell foul. Death would help him and he'd raise his sister for the fight as well. It would attract higher beings, beings that I pissed off long ago when I tried to ascend to their level."

"They would come back and there'd be a mock down drag out fight that would wipe this universe off the map, and not just this one. They can't defeat me like they did last time. It would only be bloodier. Billions of universes and untold amount of lives would be destroyed in the fallout. I won't be responsible for that much innocent bloodshed. So no, I won't kill the devil for you."

I walked over to the liquor cabinet and poured me a glass. Castiel asked. "Surely God would step in and-"

I snorted. "Your god, the being that made you, would be one of my enemies. One of many might I add. I'd tear him apart when he showed up and this universe would die. So no, I doubt he'd help. Besides, he's aware of the situation as it is and doesn't care. Hell, he's expecting you to go there tomorrow and lose. The only reason he's not here right now, is the fact that I've hidden this place from his site before I came."

I took a swig of the cheap whisky and tossed the glass to Castiel before teleporting to my place. I put the colts in the armory to be distributed amongst the hunters. Millions of special bullets were added to the armory as well.

I stayed away from the Winchester's and their ilk for a good five months. I didn't see them again until the gods Anubis was tracking started to gather. Anubis called me in to a meeting they'd invited him to. I showed up at the Elysian Fields Hotel with a suit on. We went in together and low and behold there the boys were checking in.

I ignored them as Mercury took some of their blood at speeds they couldn't comprehend. When they left, we came to the front desk. Mercury looked at Anubis. "You I recognize, him not so much."

I growled and grabbed the little god by the throat. "I am the White wolf god, Mikael, and you will show me some respect."

My eyes shifted and the image of a wolf appeared behind me. Mercury paled and I let go of him. Anubis spoke to him. "He is my lord and I would advise not offending him. The last god to do so was lunch. He feasts on everything as he's a god of destruction."

Mercury whispered to him while I looked around. "What pantheon is he from?"

Anubis sighed. "None now, he ate his pantheon. Or what was left of it when the angels got done smiting them. In exchange, he ate a few angels as well before they left."

I grunted. "Where are the rest of the gods, this place is nearly empty."

Mercury spoke up loudly. "Ah, well, you're a bit early. The feast will happen when the rest arrive."

I nodded. "Then I'll see you then. My room key, now."

He slid it over and I turned to Anubis. "I'll see you in a while old friend. I'm bored and there appears to be a few gods I've actually heard of here."

I walked away and headed to the dining room. I made sure to toss a notice me not field up and walked right by Sam and Dean. I sat down at Kali's table and sighed. "So, do you happen to know why I was called here? Anubis says Baldur has something important to talk about."

I gave off the presence of a god of destruction. She looked over to me unamused. "You'll find out at the gathering, until then, I suggest you leave me be."

My eyes shifted and I snorted. "If I wasn't so curious, I'd eat you for your insolence."

That made her pause and grab my hand. I pulled away with a snort. "Weaklings. If it wasn't the Christian apocalypse, I'd have eaten you all by now. This had better be important."

Kali frowned and stood up. I could tell she was attracted to the power I was giving off and my blatant want for violence. It was like catnip to her. I stood and walked towards my room and for a second, she made to follow until Baldur stopped her by saying. "Who was that?"

I continued walking even when I heard her reply. "I don't know, but he's powerful and dangerous. His very presence was feeding me with destruction and wrath. I haven't felt this good since I was worshipped by millions."

I headed to my room and waited there. A couple hours later Mercury came to my door. "It's time for the gathering."

He handed me a name tag with Mikael written on it. I followed him to the gathering and took my place beside Anubis. I added a notice me not spell to him as well so the boys wouldn't cause trouble. Kali was staring at me while I sat in silence.

My fingers drummed on the table while Baldur spoke about the reasons we were here. Finally the boys arrived and it picked up speed. Or it did until Loki/Gabriel showed up. Kali who had been staring at me with blatant hunger finally looked away when he did.

Gabriel sent the boys away and told us we couldn't win this fight. Kali was more vocal about it, telling him we could so long as we killed one of them. We broke for recess and I went back to my room. Kali actually followed me this time. She stopped just inside and asked. "What is it about you that makes me feel so strong?"

I shrugged. "I'm a god of destruction, death, chaos and magic. My very presence fuels gods of similar alignments, like moths to a flame they gather to me. Why else do you think Anubis serves me? He grows stronger in my presence. You'd do the same given time."

She frowned for a second before walking over to me seductively. I shook my head. "Not interested, though I am flattered, I'm not going to be used by you."

She stopped before smiling. "We could used each other."

I chuckled and shook my head. "As fun as that would be, my wives, goddesses of death and magic in their own right, would tear you apart and feast on you. You're so weak and fragile compared to us. Obviously years of lean living has weakened you."

She didn't like that at all. Fire started to form on her arms and the room started to shake. I snorted and the flames were put out. I waved a hand and the room stopped shaking. "Go attend your lover, I've no need for petty tricks and while you're amusing, I'd rather not waste my time here. I'll be leaving before the next meeting. This group of failures is doomed to die at the feathered fucks hands."

She frowned and walked out. Anubis came in after she left and I told him. "Stick around and gather the bodies of those that die. Which means nearly everyone but Kali. The others will be a feast to you and Hades. God essence is no longer strong enough to help me further, not in this amount anyway."

He nodded. "Should I interfere?"

I shook my head. "Not unless Gabriel fails to get the boys and Kali out."

He nodded again. "What was she talking about?"

I released some essence of death and he took in a shuddering breath. "It's an ability I picked up from the demon kid. His powers fed off Lucifer's presence on earth. I can do much the same to gods with the same alignment. I've since deduced that my realms expand beyond just death and magic. Chaos and destruction is where my curse aligns. That and a hungering void of abyss, but I thing that's the true essence of destruction I feel. A never ending need for more."

He shuddered as more essence poured out of me. I stopped it and told him. "You have your meal waiting. Don't leave a spec of blood behind."

He bowed and left while I teleported away to the bunker. I payed back on my bed and watched as everything went down. Gabriel was caught and supposedly killed, Dean made his play to help the gods and told them of Gabriel's trick. Anubis stayed at the back and watched as Lucifer slaughtered the other gods.

When he went to kill Kali, Anubis stepped in and revealed himself after Baldur died. "I'm sorry, but I can't let her die. My lord says she must live."

Lucifer turned to him. "And whose your lord?"

Anubis smiled. "Child, my lord is the end of all things. A true god of the chaos and destruction. The god of death and magic, Mikael!"

He let his power shine through and Lucifer backed away. "Got it, she's untouchable, geez, no need to be a dick."

Anubis snorted and turned, catching the archangel blade in his hand. "Nice try for a pitiful archangel. My lord could wipe out your father with a thought, you aren't anything special to us."

He waved a hand and all the dead gods were stored away, even the blood on Lucifer's hands was taken. He released the blade and turned to Kali and the boys. "It's time for you to leave, Gabriel has something he'd like to say to his brother."

He turned to Lucifer. "Touch her and you'll pray your aunt was free to feed on your essence."

Lucifer paled as Anubis teleported away. I watched as Lucifer turned to Kali. "Well, it seems you get a free pass, piss off, the boys and I need to have a chat."

Gabriel came in. "Not happening buck-o. They're leaving now."

He sent them away and had his little faux showdown with Lucifer after telling Dean to guard a porno dvd with his life. Anubis was now with me watching as well. "My lord, I've done as you asked."

I waved him off. "Go, enjoy your meal, but send Kali an invite to join us. I've use for her, even with her disposition."

He bowed and left. I watched as he appeared in the back of the impala beside Kali. He handed her an invitation while telling the boys the gods of this world simply aren't on the level of archangels. They may have been at the height of their power, but now, regular angels could kill them.

Kali snorted but he told her. "My boss wants you to know he wishes you to join us. He's offering you the ability to ascend beyond a mere nature spirit that feeds on humans. If you're interested, simply come find a hunter and tell them Alex sent you an invitation. You're not to harm the hunters and they won't harm you if you decide to do so."

She nodded slowly and he teleported away. She vanished in a blur of speed as well, out of the back of the moving car. Sam and Dean spoke at the same time. "Holy crap!"

I ignored them and focused on what comes next. I took the scythe from the armory and teleported to a field in the middle of nowhere Pennsylvania. I summoned Crowley to me with a though. He wasn't a happy camper, but I don't really care about his feelings.

I looked at his quite and reserved posture. "As you've probably already figured out, I'm not a demon."

He snorted. "Damn right, a demon doesn't have the juice-"

I continued and he faded off. "I'm also not an angel. In a way, I'm a god. I've called you here to make a deal. I'll trade you this-"

I held up deaths scythe. "For a million souls when the Winchester boys seal up the devil. Take it or leave it."

He went quite and raised a hand. "May I?"

I I tossed it to him. "It's Death's scythe, with it, you could kill anything, even god himself if you have the balls to try. Death himself isn't immune to its power either. The only three beings in existence Thant it can't kill are me, Anubis, and the being known as the shadow. It resides in the place you demons and the angels go when you die. I'm sure you can tell by now I haven't lied."

He nodded. "A million souls you say?"

I nodded. "They can be demons, or souls sent to hell, but none of them can be innocent."

He nodded. "Very well, it seems we have a deal."

I chuckled and raised a hand. The contract burned itself into his soul and flesh. "I'm no mortal Crowley, tray and welch on this deal and you'll wish Lucifer wins."

I waved a hand and sent him back to where I summons him from. I went back to the bunker and waited for something to change. I continued to answer the boys basic prayers for strength but when it came down to the wire, I sent them a message saying I couldn't interfere any more.

The hunter association was running at full steam now. They were doing rapid jobs as shit got worse for the last few weeks. I pulled everyone back in for the showdown in case things went south.

We watched the final fight that Dean interrupted between Michael and Lucifer. I showed it to the other hunters as a way to show the sacrifices the brothers make. They saw a clearly possessed Sam beating Dean down.

When he stopped and Sam took control, they watched as he jumped into the pit with Michael. I came over at that time and raised a glass. "To Sam and Dean, the sorry sons of bitches that fought heaven and hell and won!"

Everyone cheered and drank. When we finished, I told them. "Drink and party tonight, tomorrow everyone's out in force. We have people to save and monsters to hunt. I'll be going on hunts of my own as well from now on."

They cheered and drank my stock dry of expensive alcohol. Keeping to my word, I began hunting as well. I received several prayers from Bobby and Dean to bring back Sam, that is until Bobby stopped praying. I knew a soulless Sam was back now.

Crowley visited new the next day while I was out on a Rugaru hunt. He came in the room with the monster in question's head. "Interesting hobby for something like you."

I shrugged. "It keeps me busy. I'd recommend you warm your demons to stay away from my hunters. You really don't want to war against me."

He raised an eyebrow. "I'll keep that in mind. I came here to pay my debt."

I walked over to the Rugaru head and took it. "I'm listening."

He pulled out a box and handed it to me. "One million souls, fresh from the pit. I had to raid the pit's supply of naughtiest idiots for those."

I shrugged and opened it. They tried to escape but my darkness permeated the room and devoured them all. Instantly I felt many times better. It would take time to process, but they would heal me by around ten percent. It only gets harder from there though as my soul will begin to condense again once I'm done processing them all.

The next batch I get ahold of will need to be a thousand times more to heal me the same percentage. I turned to Crowley once the box was empty. "What is it you want now?"

He smiled. "Well, I was thinking, we could team up, you and I. You have the hunters, I have the knowledge of a place with many more souls."

I shook my head. "I'm not helping you find purgatory. I know why you want it, but there's a reason monsters are sent there instead of hell as their punishment. It, like hell, was built to be a prison. Unlike hell though, you can't separate the inmates and pick and choose. It'd be suicide for the being dumb enough to try taking in what's trapped in there."

He frowned. "What is in there?"

I sighed. "Leviathans. God's first attempt at creation. While they're amusing to something like me, they'd eat the whole planet dry. They wouldn't even spare the demons in hell. I suggest you rethink it."

He shook his head. "I got no choice mate."

I chuckled. "Then I suggest you be careful when you do it. As for me, I don't really want souls that much, I mean, I won't interfere if you do it either way. Like I said, they're amusing."

He frowned. "In that case, it was a pleasure doing business with you."

I nodded and waved a hand, freeing him of the contract. "See you around, oh king of hell."

I gave a mock bow and he left in a huff. I cleaned up the Rugaru mess and left on my next hunt. Anubis showed up and started driving for me while I meditated to heal myself. We went all over on the hunt, and so long as he killed the creatures, or captured them, they stayed dead and gone.

Over the next year I spent most of my time in meditation or eating human food by the truck load. I didn't need to eat so much when I wasn't busy focusing my energies into healing, but while I was, it became necessary. My domain was now full to bursting and I finally decided to make a move. I expanded my territory in the domain of magic.

As it was, I was almost even on territory size for both domains. Since I couldn't expand into the speed force domain, as I had to be in a DC reality to do so, I focused on the domain I was closest to after death. I could now feel tethers to the darker domains of destruction and chaos in the pit of my soul.

As it was, I knew instinctively that I wasn't ready to go there yet. So, I stayed in the neutral domains for now. Over the year, a family of hunters tried to join our organization called the Campbell's. I had Victor share information with them, but refuse to work the same jobs. We'd still pay them for their captured or kills, but they had to supply the bodies or souls.

When Victor asked why, I told him they were working for Crowley and I wasn't going to risk our people getting mixed up in demon business. They gave us the cure to djinn poison and we shared spells and information on locations with them. The spells could be used on chains to bind even a god of this reality if necessary.

Speaking of which, Kali showed up a month after Sam took the swan dive into the pit. She asked questions about what I wanted from her and what I could offer her in exchange for her assistance. When she came onto me once more, I'm ashamed to admit it, but I gave in to temptation.

We made the sky's rain fire in my vault dimension, literally and figuratively. Afterwards, I helped her kick the habit of the human eating by supercharging her soul. I helped her build a link to that dark domain my soul is tethered to. She was enthusiastically grateful in many ways.

Afterwards, I told the girls of my indiscretion. I'm a married man after all and while I love my wives, I haven't seen or been with them in a very very long time. They understood as they'd felt my needs and the sheer time I'd spent without them when we first reconnected. Chloe was the one that took it the hardest, at least for a moment until she told me she slept with Prue Halliwell one night.

Laughing a little, I suggested we rebuild the link between us now that they were on the mend and I was healing nicely. They agreed since Chloe was now officially a goddess of magic in her own right. The reforming process was a pain in the ass from different realities away. But when it succeeded, Chloe and the girls got access to all I was and did over all that time.

I got the same access to them as well, though a lot less time had passed from their perspectives. Chloe created a tether to the death domain through me and they each agreed to stay away from the other two domains till I'd checked them out.

When I finished the connection, I went back to my body. I could still feel them now, and if I concentrated, I could speak with them easy enough. I rolled over and pulled Kali onto me and told her the good news of her acceptance, or at least trial run in becoming my woman.

She was enthusiastic enough that she caught fire as I entered her. I had my way with her even after she turned blue and sprouted many arms. She certainly knew how to use them properly from my experience. When my lust was burned of and I felt it was time to head out of the time room, she was swaggering our with that, I just had unbelievable sex, walk.

It seemed to appease the primal side of me and she knew it. She wore more revealing clothes now and a band had formed around her neck and my arm. It was her way of staking her claim on me and showing others we belonged to each other.

I exuded power from all my domains now as she walked beside me and had her arms wrapped around my left one. She presented herself like my equal even to Anubis, who was stronger than her. He bowed even to her now as he greeted her. "My lord, my lady, I've done as you asked. The Campbell's know the shifter alpha is about to make its move."

I nodded. "Very well, once they break open purgatory and Castiel plays his role, I'll crack it open and steal a few billion for us. I need a billion for myself, and each of you can have a billion to grow your own spirits. Hades will like this reward, unfortunately I've checked and the Hades of this reality was killed off sons ago by some angels."

Kali nodded. "Many of our-"

I shook my head. "You are no longer one of them Kali, you've risen above them. They are mere nature spirits compared to us, not our, their."

She nodded accepting that. "Many of their kind have been killed off by themselves, hunters, or angels. The rest stick to themselves or their own groups."

I chuckled. "There will be plenty for you both to feast on later, for now, we'll feast on the monsters of purgatory and demons of hell. Let the hunters earn their pay while we deal with the angels. I can gather the essence of the angels as they die and so far, I've gathered everything they've let out. It only gets better from there though. I'll bring back the angels that aren't for the apocalypse and the rest we'll consume. Once Rafael dies, I'll know how to turn angels into archangels. We can still consume him, but I'll need to turn Castiel into an archangel when he gets back from his trip to purgatory."

Anubis asked. "Are you sure it'll go as you've planned my lord?"

I grinned. "Positive."

I shared the angel energy with them and put some back for Hades. For Kali it was like adding a nuclear bomb to a stack of c-4. Her soul grew stronger rapidly, while her body was still a bit weak. The gods she'd eat later would strengthen her body better later on so she was fine for now.

For Anubis though, it wasn't as obvious. He'd been mostly making his body stronger to prepare for his ascension. Now his soul was growing stronger at an accelerated rate. I helped him compress it and walked him through what I did before to keep it under control. Hades took notice and asked about it while I was putting up the barrier over Anubis's territory.

I gave him his share and he thanked me profusely before inviting me to his reality when I decided to leave the one I was in. I told him of my plans to find a reality for the people of the stargate reality to inhabit, including my family and he volunteered his own.

I told him I'd think it over for now, but once I decided I'd let him know. He described his reality to me and I knew he was from the Percy Jackson universe. Chuckling to myself, I told him if I did go, I'd want to experience camp half-blood for myself.

He started suggesting I go as his son and promised to claim me. The other gods would shit themselves in fear when I decided to reveal myself. Chuckling to myself, I told him of my wives and now Kali, and what I'd do to the ones that disrespected them. He made it clear that as long as I was there, he'd fight by my side if necessary to guard their honor.

I gave him my thanks and promised I'd go one day, if only to experience it for myself. With that, I descended into my body. Anubis still had a long way to go before he was ready to ascend, both physically and spiritually. The barrier was just a precaution for later.

He had his own ideas on how he'd like to do it and what type of body he wanted. He mentioned being interested in Beerus and his body type along with Trigon's physical abilities from the memories I've shared with him.

I agreed to help him acquire the necessary materials to pull it off. Kali herself wasn't thinking on it even though it was a long way off for her. When I left him to his work, Kali decided she wanted to hunt some things herself now. I hesitated before sharing the fact that Gabriel was alive. She stopped for a minute and pulled me into a fiery kiss before saying. "What could an angel offer me compared to you? You are far more powerful and far better in bed than he ever was."

I sighed. "You still have feeling for him either way, I won't stop you if you decide to choose-"

She shoved me up against the wall and climbed me like a tree. She made her demand very clear to me as she rode me in the hallway. A fiery barrier popped up blocking anyone who cared to look's view. When we finished, she was completely blue and had her many hands gripping me as she rode out the last of her climax.

I slid out of her slowly and held her there for a moment. She shuddered before saying with her blood red lips. "Gabriel betrayed me many times long ago. He had his shot and blew it by not even telling me he was alive. I was on the run for that full two months from other gods and angels that wanted to finish me off. You gave me shelter and safety. You gave me power and security, and it was you that offered me a better life than fearing those angel pricks."

I smiled as I teleported us to our bedroom. I broke the barriers she put up and threw up my own around our room. I showed her how much I appreciated her words and left her in a moaning heap on my bed. There wasn't a muscle in her body we didn't use in our passion. Unfortunately she wasn't yet up to par with me physically yet and I still wasn't completely sure about her loyalty.

I wouldn't connect us though until the other girls checked her over. She had to get their approval as well before she was officially with us. I wouldn't tie my wives to someone they weren't ready for yet. As it was, they had Prue waiting to join us there if I approved of it. Prue herself as it turns out, had been sleeping with them since college. Each one on and off. She hadn't been told yet who or more specifically, what they were yet, and she barely just found out she was a witch.

It turns out that that one college night, was when Chloe turned her more towards woman. Since then she's been with Bonnie and Ayana separately and together with Chloe a few times. Bonnie, who knew me the longest, knew I'd approve so she let it happen.

Though she's still holding off on telling her everything for now. Luckily for me, time ran faster here then there by about one month to one year. So I had a while till I had to decide and hopefully I'd be there soon enough.

Two months later Bobby prayed for the for my help and I decided to show up. I teleported to his house and found him in a flummox. He turned to see me as I walked in. "You prayed?"

He nodded. "I need some help in getting my soul back from Crowley. He gave his word he'd return it-"

I waved him off. "Easy enough to accomplish."

I waved a hand and a pile of bones appeared. "His real name is Fergus Roderick MacLeod. I took a trip to Scotland when I heard the boys started dealing with him. I figured they'd be the ones needing leverage against him. Looks like I was wrong, they're all yours."

He looked relieved. "You're a lifesaver, you know that?"

I chuckled. "So, what are you working on?"

He sighed. "Some monster the boys ran into."

I turned to the direction they were in and felt out before saying. "It's a Lamia. Tell them to get a silver dagger blessed by a priest or mix salt and rosemary before heating and burn the thing alive. Remind them it's worth seven hundred if they bring the body back to sell to my people."

He wrote my words down and made the call to the boys. When he was cut off, I snorted and sent out a spell. A minute later Dean called back complaining about the word idiot being cursed to his forehead.

I smiled as Bobby looked to me and he handed me the phone. "Yeah, Dean, it's me Alex. Hang up on Bobby like that again and I'll turn those letters into something less flattering. He's not your maid boy, he's breaking his ass working several cases including his own. Now, you'll treat him with more respect then those loose woman you sleep with and hear him out or the next spell I send your way will be far less pleasant."

I handed the phone back to Bobby and he told Dean the rest of the information he had for him before hanging up and saying. "Thanks, I meant to say something."

I chuckled. "Don't mind it. I know how it feels. I'm helping run a much larger operation. Speaking of which, I'll connect you to my servers so you can look up the information easier than books. I've scanned every book in this world into my database for such a situation and my programs will do the sifting for you."

He waved me over to his computer. I logged him in and gave him a password to use of his own. "There's a section on spells and lore as well you can browse. So long as it's not immortality or something as equally dangerous, it's in the database. The really dangerous stuff is still in books you can come and browse when you visit some time."

He nodded. "Speaking of which, where is your headquarters located?"

I smiled. "Lebanon, Kansas. I'll give you the exact location when you decide to visit. For now though, why don't I stick around in case Crowley decides to be a dick."

He smiled. "In that case beers in the fridge, I'll call him up."

I shook my head. "No need."

I summoned Crowley to us there and then. I didn't give him the option of showing up. When he came out spluttering and pissed, I snorted and he paled. "Behave."

I turned to Bobby. "Where's your scotch. I need a real drink. You make the trade, he'll listen if he knows what's good for him."

Bobby pointed to the shelf before saying. "Pour me one too."

I poured all three of us some and handed them out. Crowley took his with a grumble but still drank it before asking. "So, what have I been summoned to this pig sty for?"

Bobby spoke up. "You're here because I now have the bargaining chips to trade back my soul and he's here to ensure you don't try and screw me."

I raised my glass in salute before sipping it. Crowley looked to me and I smiled. "Don't look at me, so long as you don't try anything stupid I won't do anything. I'm neutral here."

He turned back to Bobby. "Very well, what is it you have to trade for your soul back?"

Bobby kicked the pile of bones. "Yours, fresh from the Scottish highlands. I'm told it's true you can kill a demon just like a ghost if you burn their remains."

I spoke up. "Oh, it's true. Demons are just corrupted souls after all. The only real difference is when a spirit is killed, it's sent to heaven or hell depending on its nature. Demons on the other hand are sent somewhere far worse than both heaven or hell."

Crowley frowned and I confirmed. "They're yours FYI. I dug them up myself."

His frown deepened and he scowled. "Some neutral party you are."

I chuckled innocently and didn't comment. Crowley bent down and touched the skull. It caught fire and he screamed. I spoke up. "Ah ah, no slide of hand till you make the deal or not."

I put the fire out and he got off the floor as he healed. I may have helped him heal to speed up negotiations. When he was standing straight again he was fully healed. "Fine, you have a deal."

He removed his claim and took the bones. I sighed. "I'd watch out for your sons remains and artifacts that can be used to summon him if I were you."

He nodded. "Thanks for the advice. Are we done here?"

I nodded slowly. "Don't try screwing with Bobby again, he's been through enough shit."

He nodded and vanished. I turned to Bobby. "Next time you need something, all you got to do is ask Bobby. Ellen and Jo are both working with my people now. I'd offer the same, but the Campbell's aren't my favorite people and with you would come the boys and through them, the Campbell's."

He sighed. "Fair enough I guess."

I nodded. "If you do run into real legal trouble though, my people do have real contacts in the alphabet soup agencies. As for needing backup, you can always ask. The hunters I employ all respect you too Bobby. We have the same friends and they'd string me up if I didn't offer to help any time you needed it."

I held my hand out and he hugged me. "I owe you a hell of a lot more than a hand shake."

I snorted and gave him a family hug. "I'm your friend Bobby, I've always been so, even when you were a hotheaded green newbie. I may have distanced myself when you were hanging out with John, but that had nothing to do with you Bobby. I didn't like his head first reckless approach. I knew he was suicidal when he started and I didn't want to be there when he finally bit it."

He released me and I sighed as he rubbed his eyes. While he finished, I went to get some beers from the fridge. I stayed the night there talking about past hunts and the people we've both lost. Him more than me hunt wise. The next day I started warding his house from everything in creation. I spent most of the day doing that till Rufus showed up.

Bobby had spent the day watching me work and answering phones for the most part. Rufus brought a new challenge when he showed up with a body in the back of his truck. I joined them outside and saw it.

Chuckling I said. "An okame huh, that's not so rare. A couple weeks ago one of my people ran into an Aqrabuamelu. That son of a bitch was the last of its kind and it was up in Washington state."

Rufus bit out. "Damn, that's not even remotely where it's supposed to be."

I nodded. "Best I could figure without looking into the time stream, the damn thing crawled through the desert and hit a sewer system before continuing north. I can only guess at what chased it north."

Bobby asked. "Why don't you take a look at the time stream?"

I sighed. "It would expose me to everything from the angels to the higher beings. As it is, I'm still trying to lay low for now."

I turned to the okame. "This is still alive by the way. I'll give you ten grand for the capture."

Rufus looked confused but excited. "I'll take it. It's yours."

I put the okame in my prison vault and tossed the cash in its place. "I'd suggest you hit the road Rufus. FBI's chasing your tail. Head to the usual spot and tell Victor I said to take care of it."

He shook my hand and hopped in his truck in a hurry. Bobby seemed amused before asking. "Was it really alive still?"

I nodded. "He only stabbed it five times. As it is though, it's only worth three grand."

Bobby smiled. "Why the extra for it?"

I shrugged. "Rufus has grand kids he's helping to support. He, like you, is an old friend."

He nodded and we headed inside. I continued to ward his house and he told me. "You aren't like any higher being I've ever met you know that?"

I nodded. "Most of them have never known what it's like to be mortal, and the ones that do have been corrupted by the power. It's common for those that haven't earned their power. It's why I've not given Anubis any power he can't get himself except as a reward."

He nodded. "So, you give it to the deserving and only if they're ready for it?"

I nodded. "I try to at least. I earned my immortality and subsequent godhood the hard way. I've fought for all but my most basic core power i was born with. Even then, it was a long time before I was ready for more. Now that I've suffered my last set back, I'm still healing from it by the way, I'll eventually rise further. I still value a hard days work over instant gratification."

He nodded and watched me finish the wards in silence. When I finally stopped I told him. "It would take a nuke or a direct attack from an archangel to break the wards now. Otherwise, nothing harmful can enter this house without your permission and even then, you'll have full control of everything."

I tied him into the wards and gave him control. He seemed fascinated with it now. His own Alteran ability was telekinesis, and the wards boosted his mind's strength and control. Now, inside his own house only an archangel or stronger beings were more powerful than him.

I went to the nearest liquor store and bought some good stuff to replace the swill I'd drank of his. I left those as a parting present as I teleported back to the bunker. It didn't take Bobby long to catch on and inform the wonder twins to start sending the bodies back for extra cash because two weeks after I visited him, they sent the dead body of a goddess.

I had Anubis go in person to pick it up and deliver the twenty grand. I heard from Jo who'd been hanging around Nancy and Kali that Ellen and Bobby seemed to hit it off. It got serious pretty fast as they threw caution to the wind. Bobby shared a few years with her and a month later Jo told us over a few beers that Ellen had moved in with him.

I smiled when I heard that and made a set of a hundred enchanted poker chips before sending them to the happy couple as a house warming present. That same week Bobby sent intel that the skinwalkers were planning something with home invasions as pets.

I gave my hunters blessed silver necklaces that would let them see the skinwalkers, shapeshifters and all around monsters for what they really were. All across the US it was hunting season as my hunters started bagging serious numbers of kills.

I had to keep an eye on them to make sure they didn't get any bright ideas about letting the families get bit to turn in more bodies for cash. Luckily no one tried it so far as I could tell. The necklaces were truly put to the rest when demons tried to posses our people and it backfired.

They were captured and sold to me for healing myself. Kali and Anubis were busy constantly draining the essence out of the dead monster bodies to strengthen their own. I went on a few hunts with Jo and let her get the kills so they'd stay dead.

She seemed to enjoy it as I let her lead and fight to her hearts content. When Dean and Bobby started praying to me for help, I showed up ready for battle. I was then disappointed until I heard Sam say. "You show up for them? Seriously?"

I turned to him and frowned. "Sorry, I don't listen in to soulless prayers. If you've been praying to me, I haven't answered because I usually equate soulless people to demon. No real morals of right an wrong there, just want, take, have."

Dean spoke up. "He's got you there Sammy. Actually, that's the reason we called. We were hoping you could help get his soul back."

I turned to Dean and Bobby before sighing. "The cage is a no fly zone for me. While I have the power to do it easily, the other higher beings would know I'm here."

Dean snorted. "I don't give a crap-"

He lost his voice, or more accurately I took it. "Boy, you're playing with fire. If I'm caught, this world is immediately destroyed along with most of the galaxy in the first initial conflict with the other higher gods. Now, I said I couldn't do it without being caught. I didn't say I don't have a solution."

Ellen spoke up. "Well, what is it?"

I sighed. "If you're ballsy enough, you could always ask Death. Although he's not the strongest higher god there is, and technically equal doesn't consider himself a god, he can easily slip in and out with Sam's soul. God wouldn't care and the others watching would think it's business as usual."

Bobby asked. "How do you expect us to convince death to help us again?"

I shrugged. "I hear you have his ring. I suggest you give it back to him as a piece offering. Maybe sweeten the pot with some restaurant food only Dean would eat. He seems to enjoy it. Whatever you do, don't even think about binding him. You'd probably be killed before you could get the words out for the spell."

I turned to the collective group and asked. "Anything else?"

Dean was still trying to talk to Ellen's amusement. When no one answered, I gave Dean back his voice as I teleported away. When I caught wind of Bobby searching information on dragons, I sent Anubis with Excalibur and the sword of Saint George.

He delivered them to Bobby, who then sent him to the boys. After he delivered them, he came back to help out on some hunts. Jo was currently tracking some Arachne and Anubis decided to help out.

Anubis happened to tell me Sam got his soul back. As it was, they managed to slay two dragons, but a third one swooped in and took something from the body of one of the others and flew off.

Three weeks later I received a prayer from Dean for healing powers. I turned on my tv and watched as Dean used my healing powers on a woman that was clearly slated to die. Her kidney was possessed by the spirit of her sister and it was murdering people.

When Dean healed her, the spirit was purified and sent to hell. I watched him try to turn the healing onto Sam next and teleported to them. When it didn't do anything I told him. "It won't work. What was done to him can't be healed by that power."

Dean grunted. "Yeah then what power can?"

I sighed. "Time is the best healer for the soul. What Death and the angels don't know is the true strength that lay within each soul. They think of souls like miniature nuclear reactors when really souls are the contained essence of creation and the will of the God that formed them. In your case, the mind and soul are profoundly connected, while not so much to the body."

Sam asked. "So, what your saying is that I need to get over it?"

I snorted. "What I'm saying is you need to face it and move on. The easiest way to do that is to find peaceful serenity. Not charge at it and hope for the best. I recommend meditation and getting a puppy. Maybe a girlfriend and some Tylenol as well."

Dean snorted. "How is a dog and getting laid going to help him?"

I chuckled. "You're as ignorant of emotions that aren't for family as ever. Tell me Dean, even with all the crap you put Lisa and Ben through, were there not moments where you were truly happy? I'm not talking satisfied by sex, but almost at peace. Don't lie now."

He seemed at war with himself and I sighed. "That's what I thought. Well, let me let you in on another secret then, Ben really is your son. You see, Lisa was never truly sure so she didn't shove it all into you, but take it from someone who can see the very molecules your made of. He has your genetic material."

He looked but punched so I continued. "Does that not make you feel some inkling of happiness and peace knowing your kid has grown up healthy and safe."

Dean muttered. "It's a lot to take in."

I shrugged. "If it makes you feel better, I'll ensure they both get away from this hunter mess and have a safe and happy life."

He smiled a little at that and I caught him there. "That feeling you just felt, that's what Sam needs to heal. Enough of it and even demons would bee healed and sent to heaven. Peace and real happiness not only heals the soul, it makes it ever so slightly stronger. Why do you think the angels are so damn strong compared to humans? They may not have souls, but they're connected to heaven where billions of souls are at peace."

I'd actually discovered that while reviving angels for Castiel's side. The war had actually started to take a turn for the better when Rafael's side found out Castiel's people were being revived. Unfortunately dark dimension I'd absorbed wasn't taking in any new angels or demons. Another had formed where I'd found mine.

I left them to contemplate on my words for a while and went home to meditate myself. It was time I truly absorbed the energy of the empty and everything in it. I had Anubis take over the prayer helping and he siphoned off a bit of my power to do so. I told Nancy and Victor to have the hunters prepare borax cleaner for a new beastie that would be showing sooner or later. They started steeping gloves in it for good measure.

I'd taken blood from Crowley and Castiel a while back in secret and even acquired the bone of a saint when Anubis dig up Saint George for his sword.

Anubis had acquired the alpha shifter's body when Crowley got fed up and killed it so we had the ingredients for our Leviathan killing weapons. Unfortunately, I didn't save any of Landon's ashes and he was with the girls in their vault worlds. As it was, their vault was decently packed with trillions of lives. Worlds had been formed inside to house all the beings from the stargate reality. Other vaults were set aside for their ships.
