Save the Village

Grognus was standing there looking at Giulius and at Victor as they were holding the 4 bodies of his subordinates. Then, Giulius and Victor threw the bodies at Grognus' feet, as if they wanted to make him angry or anyway feel something for the death of his subordinates, but Grognus' reaction was just an annoyed sigh as he then aimed the palm of his hand at the 4 bodies at his feet and he reduced them to ashes with a Dark-red light beam.

Grognus:<<You were useless and weak anyway, always standing behind me as if I was your babysitter. Die scums>>. Then he glanced up at Giulius and Victor as he then said:<<And you two are supposed to be who? some sort of guardians this Village? A human and an Ugly ass Ogre?>>

Giulius:<<Oi >>

Grognus:<<Seems 4 like a joke anyway, You don't even look too much different from normal adventurers. I mean, have managed to kill demons but they were rankless so be con...>>

Victor:<<Can You shut the fuck up?>>

Grognus:<>

Giulius:<<We both think that your voice is annoying, so shut the fuck up>>

Grognus:<<Probably It's because you don't know it, but I will tell anyway, You are insulting a C-rank Demon...>>

Giulius:<<So what? Shut the fuck up anyway, we do not care whoever you are>>

A vein who was swollen a little could be seen on Grognus' forehead.

Grognus:<<well, suit yourselves then. Ak, Uk, take care of them quickly, I find annoying>> Then Grognus turned to the other side as the two Giants nodded.

Ak:<<Yes Boss>>

The 2 giant demons slowly approached Giulius and Victor as they both raised their arms ready to strike them.

A wet and loud sound, like an explosion, could be heard as Grognus quickly turned back immediately and widened his eyes as he witnessed something of uncommon in front of him.

The upper half of Ak's body was obliterated by one of Giulius' kicks while The upper half of Uk's body was obliterated by one of Victor's punches. 

Grognus took a defensive stance as he started to think how it was possible.

Grognus' mind:"That's actually quite strange and unexpected, Ak and Uk were both D-rank demons, almost C. If we follow the ranking of this world a D-rank Demon who is almost a C-rank is capable of destroying a city which at least has the size of 785 km². They are stronger than they look, but how much? Are they D-rank as well? No, they are too strong to be 2 normal D-rank or even to be 2 D-ranks who are going to turn into C-ranks. Maybe they are C-ranks, But are they stronger than me? what is the limit of their strenght? what if they are B-ranks or even A-ranks? No, being a B-rank is already rare, imagine an A-rank. I don't have anymuch to chose what to do if not to fight them to find out how much they are actually strong".

Grognus then took a deep breath as he then said:<<Come at me>> But he istantly regret that.

In a fraction of second so little that it was almost istant Giulius appeared and punched with a right jab Grognus' cheek as he then stumbled back by the force. Grognus felt like his jaw was almost broken as he then quickly tried to attack Giulius back, but Victor appeared next to Grognus as he then kicked him straight in the center of the ribcage sending him flying away to then land like a meteor in a place of the forest 3 kilometers away from the village with a loud Boom.

Grognus coughed some blood as he then slowly stood up, one of his hand was placed on his jaw and the other one was placed in the center of his chest as he was breathing heavily.

Grognus' mind:"How can they go toe-toe so easily against a C-rank demon like me? who the hell are they?" but his thinking was quickly stopped by another kick to his head this time by Giulius as both he and Victor appeared next him again, Then, Giulius and Victor started to Jump him.

The attacks were quick and powerful as Grognus couldn't do more than try to defend himself from the flurry, but still, it wasn't helping at all. Grognus received a quick elbow to the mouth as he spit out a lot of blood before being then knee-striked in the abdomen followed by a punch to the face, a kick in the calf, an uppercut in the pit of the stomach and a roundhouse kick right in the kidney. Grognus spit other blood as he then used his power to create an explosive barrier around him that completely destroyed a whole forest-block.

Grognus' mind:"Dammit, DAMMIT, if they keep with this It won't be long before I die. I must win with everything I have, even if I have to use THAT to kill them."

Grognus then quickly dashed at Giulius as he started to attack him relentlessly trying to deal some damage to him even if Giulius managed to block every attack of his, still Giulius could sense and also feel that Grognus' strenght and speed was gradually becoming more and more. Victor then punched Grognus as he blocked it and he was just sent away from the attack without receving too much damage from it, The flowers and the plants around the 3 of them started to die as Grognus was increasingly becoming stronger. Victor Noticed it as he then turned to Giulius

Victor:<<He has an Assorbing magic, look at the plant and tree around us, he is assorbing their life essence>>

Giulius:<<I see, anyway, It's not such a treat even with that po->> But Giulius was cut off mid-sentence as an incredible aura emanation suddendly hit both of them as they turned towards Grognus, Grognus was now growed immensenly and his muscles were 20 times bigger than before, his veins where shining of a red light as he was laughing now.

Grognus:<<AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH...NOW I HAVE STUFFED ENOUGH ENERGY TO USE MY STRONGEST ATTACK! BE FEARFUL NOW, BECAUSE THIS ATTACK CAN DESTROY A WHOLE ISLAND!!!>> Then Grognus aimed both his hands towards them as a dark-red orb of energy appeared between them <<PIERCING BLAST>>. A massive Beam of dark-red energy was quickly shot before him as it destroyed several forest-blocks and pierced a whole mountain ranged that was near there. The Ground trembled with a powerful earthquake and the animals quickly started to run aimlessly away from the place where Grognus, Giulius and Victor were. When the smoke finally dissipated Grognus was standing there, In front of him there was only dirt dug up by the blast, and he was also breathing heavily.

Grognus:<<Everytime that I use this attack it's like you are using parts of your body to reload a weapon and shot them enemy, but anyway, It was worthy because defeated the...>>

But he stopped talking when he looked up and saw Giulius and Victor above him, both of them ready to strike him with the attack who usually are used to hit the head of the enemy and that requires to intervine your own fingers.

Grognus:<<WHAT?! >>. This was the last thing that Grognus said before Giulius and Victor rained down on him and struck him hard in the head. The blow was so strong that it made the whole forest tremble with an earthquake really similar to a level 7.9 of the richter scale. After the earthquake ended then in the rubbles and in the smoke 2 figures stood tall and victorious, and those Figures were Giulius and Victor.

A little raindrop fell on the ground next to the body of Grognus as he was in the center of a huge crater. Then it started to rain as Giulius and Victor stood there looking down at Grognus, he was still barely alive as he coughed some blood.

Grognus:<<Damn. You. Cough Cough>> he stopped to take some heavy breaths chocked with his blood before speaking again. <<What ranks are you two? B-ranks? A ranks? or, maybe S-ranks?>>

Victor sighed:<<Dude, You would be really pitiful if you didn't do all those things to the Village of Ortensia, even are barely alive your still think something as stupid "what our ranks". Sorry dude but I just wasted life, don't want end I'm feeling guilty beating you.>>

Grognus:<<what? >>

Giulius:<<Yeah dude, The emo guy is right, you are pretty much sad to see. You should try live more carefreely and also in a little happy way. I'm not trying insult or judge you, give tip, learn how>>

Victor:<<It doesn't make sense>>

Giulius:<<I never did a speech to make someone go through the right path so I'm trying my best>>

Victor:<<You are doing bad>>

Giulius:<<Thanks of nothing you stupid emo guy>>

Victor:<<Giant Pickle>>

Giulius:<<Pear head>>

And so Giulius and Victor slowly walked back to the Village as they kept insulting each other. Meanwhile Grognus' physical body slowly started to deteriorate itself as his soul returned in the demon realm so that there he could go into one of the recreators (kind of Capsules that are in every realms and that their purpose is to create a body when a soul leaves the still alive but severly injured body of the owner) and surviving that defeat.

The raindrops were falling fast and in a little amount of time everything was completely wet. All the Villagers were looking down at the body of the elder of the village as all of them were crying, some more, some less, but every single one of the villagers were crying for the elder. Giulius and Victor slowly approached the body of the Elder as they reached and then Knelt near him. Giulius softly grabbed the Bolt Rabbit from his pocket as It placed it in front of them.

Giulius:<<We did it old man, we managed to accomplish the challenge>>

Victor:<<Also, we are sorry for what did to the Village, were more than idiots>>

A short silence followed those words. They knew that the elder was dead and that they were talking to nobody, but they didn't care.

Giulius:<<We will help the rebuilding of village to make you forgive us>>

Victor and Giulius:<<. . .We are sorry>>.
