Bloodstained Ella

"No one's going anywhere! Ivory Vines!"

Aurelia and Ella's acana flared to life as they leaped off the ground into the air at a blinding speed when they sensed something beneath their feet. Landing on the rooftop of a home, Aurelia stared at the ivory vines that smelt a little sweet, with long razor-sharp stems protruding from every crevice of the vine.

Piercing up through the streets, Ella glared at the vine and frowned. Her eyes and the rapier slowly turned a blood-red as she rested her gaze upon the dozen warriors below. "Aurelia, go!" She shouted as her Arcana flowed into her core, fueling the imperial sutra. Her muscles tightened, and the sounds of her bones began to pop one after another. She rocketed off the building, shattering the ceiling with the power of a tier-one monster.

Arrows whipped towards her with deadly precision, but Ella was like a graceful dancer, weaving through the incoming arrows with effortless ease. Everything seemed to have slowed considerably within her eyes, leaving her to process the world at a snail's pace. Cutting away the arrows she couldn't dodge, she landed square into the middle of the crowd.

And did something unimaginable as she uttered the words that entered her mind towards the first assassin to enter her sight. " Ivory Vines," she sang, and from the depths of the ground, vines shot up, tearing through flesh like butter, bathing the schene a scarlet red. The Vines twisted through his skin, organs, and eyes till the assassin's body contorted into an unrecognizable mesh of gore that spilled over the ground.

"How dare someone use a druid spell against me." Ella scolded, a little grateful that some assassin had unintentionally awakened a zero spell.

Her eyes glowed a majestic red, as did her rapier that called for blood. Eyeing the startled group that had only seen such a sight against a demonic beast, terror skimmed over their hearts, and before they could recover, the glint of a sword pierced through the starstruck assassins before they could grasp what happened.

A geyser of blood erupted from their necks, bathing Ella in warm nectar that filled her with a sense of delight, her sword pulsed, and her blood began to race.

"GET HER!!!!" Zelder, the leader of his squad and imperial knight, who was said to have faced an ogre on his own and lived, bellowed. Darting from the back of his people, he rushed towards Ella, who had just felled two of his men, and cleaved his greatsword down at her, empowering himself with Arcana, with his great ape sutra. He met the burning gaze of the young woman WHo met his blade head-on.

DING!!!!!!

"Impossible!' Zelder cried with ringing ears watching as Ella took his blade head-on.

"Force Blast," The Young Druid chanted with the whisper of the reaper beneath her breath. The sword within Ella's hand glowed, and before Zelder could retreat, a vicious wave came rushing out, striking him across the face, blasting him off his feet; he skimmed over the ground like a rock on water.

Sweat dotted Ella's brow as she felt almost half her Qi gone. Knowing her rapier required more Arcana to chant spells while the Imperial Sutra devoured even more Arcana, to sustain her powerful physique, she decided to keep the spell casting to a minimum and clear out the remaining assassins with her rapier alone.

"She's a bloody monster! Get in the Flying Lotus formation! Let's kill her!" Second, in command, Salven cried, stepping up to the plate.

Finding it a bit hot, despite sweat slipping down her skin, Ella left hand moved to unbutton the top two buttons of her uniform, feeling her very being burning up.

Taking their position around her in a timeless manner, the assassins formed a triangle blocking her every retreat while also positioning themselves in her blind spot.

Sir Salven roared, " Attack!'

While surveying her surroundings, Ella minced, "This is going to hurt," She casually mentioned, but there was a smile on her lips. " oh well, bring it, bitches! Let me show you what I can do."

Excitement racing, the glint of swords and spears came like flashes from her rear, front, and the corner of her eye.

Attacked on three sides, a valuable lesson Ella would never forget branded its way into her mind.

Never show your back to your enemy.

Listening to the weapons' flow to determine the weapon's nature and where it would land, Ella's body and sword danced, bringing about the ringing of steel and blood.

Nicks and bruises began to trickle their way over her body as the young druid was placed on the defensive when suddenly, a furious roar came from the skies.

"DIE!!!!!" Imperial officer Zelder bellowed with a disfigured face.

Heart racing, with the reapers, blade now around her neck, Ella couldn't help but smile as Zelder came crashing down with his greatsword.

Pressure like no other loomed over her neck, but the druid could not help but laugh as her left hand, carrying the power of a tier-one demonic monster, slapped the blade of Zelder, whose blade was a hairs width from her brow. Missing his mark, Ella pivoted over her feet, twisting her petite frame over Zelders back with such speed that no one could track her movement as she pored even more Arcana into the Imperial Sutra to make her stronger and faster.

She stood up on Zelders shoulders and away from the blades that encircled her that didn't allow her time even to jump, and lept away but not before her rapier flickered through Zelders spine near the base of his neck, crippling him where he stood.

Paling at the massive drain, Ella landed a few meters away after breaking out of the formation and readied her blade.

Pulling Arcana from the air instead of using her own, as it was too taxing, Ella fired off another spell, "Ivory Vine!"

Catching another assassin who was far slower than the other assassins to move, the druid counted the nine assassins left and sighed.

"I need more training." She muttered and positioned herself behind a door, making sure she would not be caught in another formation again.

"May the Goddess grant us strength to fell the Fiend!" Second, in command, Salven coldly said, when all of a sudden an azure acana pure and luscious as the ocean rippled off his body.

"Eh?"

"This is where you perish, Godless!"
