20. Achievements

While I was riding the horse I saw my helmet on the ground I picked it up and put it on now I had no shield my sword was lost, and I only had a part of my armor most of it was broken, I didn't know what to do then I got a message from the system.

[Mana Shield] This skill makes your shield have a layer of mana. The durability, strength and protection of the mana shield depends on how much mana you have spent on this skill.

[Leader] Activating this skill makes people more likely to listen to you or follow your orders more easily.

[Attention Center] When you use this skill, human monsters or other human species have more attention on you.

[Mana Armor] surrounds all your armor with mana that acts as protection, this layer of mana protection increases the durability and protection of the mana armor, the mana armor can be stronger and give you more protection, but it depends on how much mana you have spent, and also this ability spends mana quickly.

When you wear heavy armor or heavy weapon, the defense will increase by 10%, but the weight will increase by 5% with each heavy class item you wear.

[Hard to kill] 

You heal automatically in the middle of the combat, and you don't get tired easily, the effect can be quite painful.

I read all that with a small smile, I had definitely become stronger, although I felt a little worried, I didn't think much about it and I went to look for the guards who had retired following my order.

Several hours passed until I got a clue, a body of a guard with whom I had spoken was already dead on the ground with several bites, I made my horse go faster much faster, although I had some hope it was not much.

After some time searching for them, I found them unfortunately in the way I did not want absolutely all were dead I inspected the scene carefully it seemed that they had been attacked by a large pack of wolves there were many corpses of these after all I looked at their expressions they did not seem terrified or afraid they seemed to have hope.

I felt like a great weight was accumulating invisibly in me, then I heard several laughs in this forest there is no one but me, then I went to look for Jax.

When the animals and scavenger monsters heard us they hid in the deepest part of these woods, although the crows were still there staring at us, I smiled at them and contemplated the scene in front of me. I got off my horse, analyzed the whole scene, the best way to describe it was that there was a pitched battle, and they ambushed our side that with inferior numbers surprisingly had "won" if you could say so, since probably everyone had died.

Walking all over this bloody scene I found several interesting things a shield with a big hole in it a sword that had been embedded in a tree probably flew out from a big impact parts of a large armor all over the place "Check the caravans and keep this for me" I said sheepishly though they only nodded "There is nothing here, Lin" I nodded shakily after inspecting more we found nothing on this road "Search the surroundings" I ordered in a low voice, everyone dispersed.

I waited a few minutes for everyone to return and listen to their reports when they came back I listened to their reports carefully and patiently the most interesting one was that they found another group of slavers, but all dead although the informant told me there were horse tracks, but he told me it was too hard to track because of the weather and all the blood around "Most likely Jax and the sacrifices have been captured let's go back and the lord's progenitor too ah, the lord is going to be very angry" I sighed as I spoke in a frail voice.
