He now regretted opening up the [Shop].

Lucien was about to recover from his shock when he suddenly looked back at the screen again.

'Wait... Sacred Gears?! That means... I'm in Highschool DXD... During the Devil Civil War... 500 years before the canon start' Lucien thought with a nervous smile in his face.

Having realized this information, Lucien realized that he needed to get exponentially stronger to survive until the canon start.

Wasting no time, He prepared himself to use what he got from the [Novice Gift Pack].

Having been a avid reader of novels, especially those with a system element, he knew that improving his bloodline would hurt like a mf.

After getting a piece of cloth, he placed it in his mouth before using the first item [Bloodline Fusion Card].

Knowing what was the best fusion, Lucien picked his two most powerful bloodlines.

Lucien suddenly felt his entire body compressing and changing which he describes as 'Getting crushed by a truck continually over and over again'.

"Arghhh!!!!!...Fuckkkk!!!!!" Lucien screamed from the top of his lungs, with his entire body turning red and all his veins showing.

A Red and Gold aura suddenly enveloped his entire body, changing the entire structure of it.

The two aura's clashed 

Thankfully, Lucien placed a piece of cloth in his mouth, preventing his screams from getting heard.

Due to the agonizing pain all over his body, Lucien fell back while scratching his back.

A few moments later, a pair of wings sprung out of Lucien's back, one red with a black aura and one white with a gold aura.

Fortunately, Lucien didn't wear any clothes when he started the fusion or else, the wings on his back would utterly destroy his clothes, leaving him with nothing to wear.

Lucien then looked at the mirror and saw two magnificent wings on his back.

'I think... I'm even more handsome HAHAHAH' Lucien thought with a smirk on his face.

'And i feel... Stronger' Lucien thought while moving his body.

Trying to test his strength, Lucien repeatedly punched the air.

With every punch, the air produced a sound similar to when you swing a badminton racket, while also leaving a trail of smoke.

'It's amazing but... It's still not enough...' Lucien thought with a frown, clenching his fists.

Lucien realized that, he was still too weak...

Shaking away that thought, Lucien proceeded to look at his [Status Screen].

A mysterious card suddenly appeared in front of him, before it drilled itself into his body.

Lucien once again experienced excruciating pain a second time.

Though, it seemed like the pain was reduced, probably due to his newly gained strength.

After a few more seconds, the pain finally stopped.

A massive aura suddenly enveloped the earth alerting all the powerful beings in the world.

[Underworld]

As the aura enveloped the world, all the devils in the underworld felt a massive threat hovering over them.

'What type of aura is this...' All the devils thought.

Meanwhile, the more powerful devils started to worry, as they felt an Angelic presence in the aura.

The 72 Pillars and the Anti-Satan faction, started emergency plans encase the angels attack.

[Heaven]

The same thing happened to the angels, except they felt a demonic presence in the aura.

Thankfully, Michael calmed down the situation and started emergency plans.

'What a strong aura...' Michael thought while looking at the sky.

[Earth]

All the Gods and Dragons also felt the aura but ignored it,

They were too lazy to care.

Meanwhile, the one who caused all this was currently debating whether what bloodline would he use the [Bloodline Tier Improvement Card].
