The sea breeze blew away Hester's low voice, sending it right into Farley's ears gently.
Farley stayed silent for a moment. He reached out to hold Hester in his arms and kissed the tip of her ear. "That is not your fault. You have done very well. If someone must be blamed, it would be me."
"Of course not!" Hester looked up at him, paused, and lowered her eyes, "It was me who couldn't do anything to save you. I just... want to give you a fair apology."

Farley frowned and cupped Hester's jaw, guiding her eyes to meet his. "What do you want to do, Hester?"
