CHAPTER 30

Dae Hyun was perplexed to see Min Hye angry enough to want someone dead or for him to kill that someone for her. He abruptly got up from his seat and closed the door shut to prevent their conversation from leaking out to the ears of those gossip hungry monsters. He grabbed her arm gently and pulled her close to him as a sadistic smirk kissed his lips.

"What did you say?" He asked again with squinted eyes as he looked at her.

"I..I want you to get rid of So Ra." She said, slightly regretting blurting out her wicked thoughts in the moment of anger. She had one or two moments in the past when she wanted some annoying people dead but she never really took her thoughts to action since she was straight headed but now, she was blurting out her thoughts to a dangerous man that would carry it out with pleasure.

"You don't look so sure anymore." Dae Hyun said as he noticed her unsure reaction.

"I said it in a moment of anger without thinking straight but now, I think it'll be a bad idea to get rid of her since some of the workers are now suspecting that one of the them is the anonymous gift killer..So it'll be a good idea if you lay low for awhile." Min Hye said and he found her words quite thoughtful.

"I know, I wasn't going to kill her yet, besides I'm still looking for a creative method." He said with a dark glint in his grey eyes as he stared at her and a wicked grin was visible on his face. She found herself getting lost in his dark world that fascinated her, she got drawn to both his dark side and charming side, she couldn't help but get more attracted to him.

"Alright then, I should get to work." She said and was about to pull herself from his addictive embrace but his arm covered her waist as he pulled her close to himself, making their bodies press against each other.

"W..What are you doing? W..We are in the office. Let's not do this here." She said as he drew his face closer to hers.

"There's no rule that states we can't fuck in the office." He said with a deep, husky voice.

"Fuck? Is that all I am to you? Someone you can fuck whenever you want?" Min Hye said as she scoffed angrily, obviously upset at him as she pulled herself violently from his hold and stomped out of the office. Dae Hyun ran his fingers through his hair in exasperation as she walked out. 'Shit! Of course, she hates that word.' He thought inwardly.

Yoo Na and her mother were summoned to the disciplinary school committee board along with Jisoo, Da Yeon and her mother.

"So why would you hit her when you weren't the one who got hit, huh?" One of the board members said to Yoo Na who gave them all a stoic expression.

"It's okay if you want to punish me but you should punish Da Yeon also because she hit Jisoo first." Yoo Na said, ignoring their questions and the board members exchanged glances while her mother nudged at her slightly to prevent her from offending them.

"You little wench! My Da Yeon has every right to hit pieces of trash like the both of you!" Mrs Jin yelled angrily at Yoo Na.

"Mrs Jin please watch your language and your tune, you're in a school and your daughter seems to be at fault here too, so she's right, the only way to settle this is if they both get punished since this school is a school of equality. All the kids are given the same treatment irrespective of your background status." A female board member said and Mrs Jin's eyes widened in disbelief.

"My Da Yeon can't be punished, she has never worked a day in her life." Mrs Jin said but the board members ignored her and continued with their statement.

"Da Yeon and Yoo Na will be given the punishment of one hour a day of cleaning duty for a week and Da Yeon is required to write an apology statement to Jisoo for physical assault." The female board member declared and Mrs Jin couldn't believe her ears.

"Do you know who I am? I'm Chairman Jin's wife!" She yelled as she rearranged her expensive fur she wore to show off their wealth but they ignored her.

"Like I said earlier, no matter your background status, no one is given special treatment." The lady reported and Mrs Jin could only scoff in anger as she glared at Yoo Na and she gladly returned the look which made her even more furious.

Yoo Na, Jisoo and her mother were walking through the hall when Da Yeon and her crazy mother abruptly blocked their way.

"How dare you lowlifes hit my Dae Hyun and as if that's not enough, she gets punished!" Mrs Jin yelled at them and both Jisoo and her mother lowered their heads in fear but Yoo Na kept staring straight at her in the eyes with no hint of emotion on her face.

"I..I'm sorry madam. It won't happen again, so sorry...." Yoo Na's mother apologised and Yoo Na whipped her head towards her.

"Don't apologise. You know how much I hate seeing people look so pathetic." Yoo Na said with a flat tone and Mrs Jin scoffed.

"What? Acting cool is only for the rich, but beggars like you should lie on the floor to plead for mercy or I'll make your lives even more miserable than it already is!" Mrs Jin threatened and Yoo Na smirked.

"Mercy is the last thing I need from anyone, especially you." Yoo Na said coldly and Mrs Jin felt intimidated for a second by the fearless girl.

"Hey! Watch your mouth, you're talking to my mom you bitch!" Da Yeon yelled agressively at Yoo Na.

"Watch your mouth or you'll be getting a harder slap from me." Yoo Na retorted and both Jisoo and her mom had started panicking because she was clearly offending them.

"What?!" Mrs Jin was perplexed at the girl's rudeness in front of her, the wife of a chairman of one of the biggest companies in South Korea was being talked down by a lowlife.

"I was loud and clear, how could you not hear me?" Yoo Na asked with obvious mockery in her voice which made Mrs Jin more furious and her palm was about to go across her cheek but Yoo Na effortlessly caught it and shoved it away which only made her mouth part in utter disbelief and they all looked at her with the same expression. Mrs Jin was about to yell again but she was interrupted by a familiar voice.

"Don't waste your breath, she'll only make you feel worse." Cha Eun said rudely as he came to their sight but she obviously couldn't speak a word to him because his parents were one of the most powerful people in the country.

"What?" Was the only word Mrs Jin could say.

"She has a knack for making people feel inferior and making them lose their temper." He said with a serious expression and a wicked grin almost cut through her lips because she succeeded in having a powerful ally but she prevented the grin from slipping out. "And she loves playing mind games so I'll advice you to stay away from her instead because you'll lose if you play her games." Cha Eun said.

"Do you know her?" Mrs Jin asked in a surprised tone.

"She's my friend, why?" He said with a serious expression and a wicked grin became visible on Yoo Na's face.
