With Ray being an S- rank hero, it was quite hard for me not to feel pressured, and thankfully Ray had a smart brain as at least he wasn't releasing his mana.

You see, high-ranked heroes have this kind of aura around them and they can also pressure others just by staring at them, at least the lower-ranked ones.

But when they release their mana, it will fill the room and become harder to breathe and stay standing if the mana is released against low-ranking players but if you have enough magic stats or endurance you can easily resist this.

"Hmm, no need to look at me like that, as this is a trade, we both give and receive isn't that right?"

"Yes, now spit it out"

"Okay, okay, no need to use such an aggressive tone", After saying that I stared at ray right in the eyes and continued, "Rank 78, S- ranked hero, Dark".

Ray's eyes widened and the room became silent, only after 5 minutes or so did Ray finally speak.

"Explain"

"Hmm, well you see the 78 ranked hero Dark is the one that attacked you that night, you might think that with his stats and skills it should be impossible for him to be there as he was reported to be at his mansion with other heroes, that would be if he didn't have a unique skill called [Shadow Step] that allowed him to teleport at long distances"

"What?"

"It's just as you heard, he has a skill for long-distance teleportation, didn't you feel that the fighting style he showed was quite similar to someone?"

A face of realization soon appeared on Ray's face.

"How do you know this, kid?", But before I could answer.

"Ah, nevermind, that's my bad, kid, I was just too excited", Well I was gonna tell him that he just needed to look at Dark's traveling times from one city to another and it should be quite easy to spot, but he should know to never ask someone for their source of information.

"It's ok"

Ray let out a sigh and asked me for contact information which I did.

"Oh, so you really are a student of the academy, huh?"

"Well, of course, it should be easy to tell just by looking at my watch isn't that right", I said that but I knew he probably thought I stoled it.

"Hahaha, I like you kid, you kid, how about a give you something to celebrate our successful deal, just tell me anything you want."

And that was exactly what I came for. You see in the novel Ray was someone who could get his hands on many things quite easily and when he found someone interesting he would tell them to tell him anything they wanted and he would give it to them to create an artificial relationship.

And I wouldn't miss this chance.

"I would like for you to get me a grimoire if you don't mind"

Ray was smiling brightly but I knew he was probably irritated as grimoires weren't easy to spot as they don't release any mana and they also just look like normal books, and not only that but after opening it once the reader would get whatever the grimoire offered and then it would disappear.

The only way to know it was a grimoire was to take it to an appraiser.

Raising one of his eyebrows, he then asked, "W-what type of grimoire, kid?"

"One that will give me something similar to your skill"

"Come back in a week I should be able to get it by then," He said after clicking his tongue.

As expected of Ray, getting a grimoire in less than a week considering he doesn't even have a skill like [Truth Eyes], but I wasn't someone to reject.

"Thank you then, I will be taking my leave"

I went downstairs once again and it would seem that going to the second floor was something huge in this branch as everyone here including the receptionist was looking at me in awe.

But thinking about it, it would make sense as the only way Arthur was able to find Ray was because he could see that Ray in disguise, wanted to hire him into his branch. So similar to me, he had the help of a skill to find him.

After leaving I decided to head to a cafe just around the corner and relax.

But after looking at the price of everything I decided to head out. While I did just receive 50 million RP, I still have the mind of a poor man and would prefer not to spend it. After all, this money might come in useful later on.

With this much money, someone would probably spend it on stocks or investing in research but I don't know anything regarding stocks so most of all I don't really understand them quite well.

I do know that you can buy them and sell them later on but I'm not really sure about it.

But even so, I will do it, as I know that 3 guilds are gonna rise to the top 20 guilds in the near future, they would be the Black Horse Guild which would rise from rank 150s to rank 12 in the guild rankings, Skysword Guild that would go from a rank in the 50s to rank 19 and the Bright Guild that will rise from the 500s to rank 17.

The reason why these guilds are important and were mentioned in the novel quite early was because Arthur will be joining the Skysword Guild after ending the school arc and he would compete with the Black Horse and Bright Guild, which were actually infested with demon contractors for the top spot in the guild rankings.

But using this information I could get a large amount of RP.

If my memory is not wrong the rankings should be updated at the start of September.

So I decided to invest right now.

I went to the stock app in the smartwatch and search for the bright guild and bought 150,000 stocks for 100 RP each, totaling 15 million, then I went to the Black horse guild and spent 5 million buying 20,000 for 250 RP each. I decided not to buy from the Skysword Guild as I wouldn't be able to buy much as the stock value was already in the thousands and I didn't know if it would increase all that much.

Or I might just be inexperienced and not know anything about stocks.

After spending 20 million on buying stocks I had 30 million left and decided that I would be sending some back to mom but I wasn't too sure what excuse to use.

'Maybe the lottery, but she might think of her son as a gambler or maybe...'

I thought to myself and before I knew it I was already back at the academy entrance. I decided to head in and went straight to my room.

After lying down on my bed I decided to check out all that the watch offered as I hadn't done it before because I thought it was unneeded.

Everything is organized by apps meaning there is an app for everything.

I currently have 10 apps on my watch.

one for my ID, one for calls, one for texts, one for the bank, and one for stocks that were pretty much self-explanatory.

But there was also one for an online shop where you could find anything like herbs, potions, weapons, and more, that will be delivered to you.

There was the auction app, where people could auction stuff and of course, you can bid for the items or buy them instantly with the instant buy option for a high price.

Then there is the mercenary app, that allows me to check missions, assign them, hire people, and more.

There is also a book app with works similar to a library with books for entertainment or research.

And finally, there is a VIP app, that you can buy to enter and it gives you access to many other apps. It is a one-time buy and it also gives you access to one of the black market apps where you can find many things like information workers, living monsters, and more.

The black market is also quite mysterious, as no one knows who runs the place and there are also multiple S rank bodyguards all around the area. Demon contractors frequent this place but since high-level demons want to keep a close relationship with the black market, demon contractors are not really able to do anything to the humans inside and vice versa.

There is no need for a membership if you just want to enter the black market and see everything around but there is a need for the membership if you want to have more access to information and other services only available on the app but since it cost just 500 million for a normal membership it will probably be a while before I can access it.

After having gone to the Round Table branch there was nothing special about the weekend as I just spent it going to the library and talking with Alicia and Angelica.

While I was doing this I could already guess that Arthur, Noel, and Ciel, would all be receiving private lessons from Monica as this was also something that happened in the novel.
