Runic Force Training

After checking how strong his runic force is, Zeon urged Li and Toast to check their runic force. The first one to come and stand before the ball is Li, his eyes shining when looking at the advanced ball that can calculate how much runic force that someone can exert to enforce something. Li put his hands on the ball and started using his runic force to enforce the ball with it, then the number behind the ball started to go up slowly until it stopped at 330. The next one to check his runic force is Toast. Toast put his hands on the ball and used his runic force to enforce it until the number stopped at 350.

After checking their initial runic force, Zeon, Li, and Toast walk to the deeper training room to enhance runic force. Followed by Li and Toast, Zeon entered the first version of the runic force training room.Inside the first training room, there's a huge boxing gloves that can be seen by the three of them. They come in and walk into the device beside the huge boxing gloves, there's a manual or tutorial of how to use the training devices.

The first step that they need to do is putting their hands at the ball to check their runic force, after that they can adjust the runic force power of the huge boxing gloves. The next step is to stand at the marked position in front of the huge boxing gloves. Finally, they need to enforce themselves with runic force and being hit by the huge boxing gloves. If they can stay their ground, it means that their runic force is stable enough to receive that damage, sometimes when someone uses their runic force it will fluctuate depending on their physical and mental condition.

Coming forward, Zeon once again inputting his runic force power, this is the safety measure for the training device, if they enter a wrong number you can imagine what will happen to the person getting punched by the huge boxing gloves. Zeon adjusting the power to 240, a little higher than his current runic force. Zeon standing at the marked position in front of the gloves. He prepared himself by enhancing his body with his runic force, then waiting until the device was starting.

A beeping alarm sounded, then the huge boxing gloves started to move. A huge punching power is launched from the gloves. Some wind can be felt beside the trajectory of the huge boxing gloves. It finally hits Zeon who has been enforced with runic force. Zeon didn't budge and continued the training for five minutes. He stopped and started to readjust the power and increase it to 300.

Taking another hit that should have breached a normal person's defense, Zeon takes it with confidence and only gets pushed a little from the marked position. Zeon readjusted his state and strengthened his runic force, this time after taking the hit, he didn't move from his spot and continued the training for five minutes. Zeon does another power readjusting and increases the huge boxing gloves power to 500.

This is a lot higher than the current Zeon runic force power. A normal person getting hit with that difference of power can fly away and faint, the worse one will even get some fractured bones. Li and Toast looked at how crazy Zeon can be and prepared themselves to catch him from his back if he suddenly flew away.

More power coming in front of Zeon, the huge boxing gloves punched Zeon harder until he really flew away toward the back. Li and Toast, who are already prepared, try to catch Zeon and help him get up. After checking his condition, Zeon found that his body hurt a little bit. The momentum of the gloves increased many folds, but looking at Zeon's condition he should be fine to take more hits with that kind of power front he gloves.

The training room feels a lot advanced but the training method is a lot more barbaric than they thought. Becoming a punching bag for the huge boxing gloves and they need to defend against it again and again until their body gets stronger and their runic force adapted to take the hits. Zeon, Li, and Toast feel that their view about technology is getting challenged. Maybe more advanced technology won't make life always easier, sometimes it can make your body hurt all over and worse than a normal sparring with your friends, but Zeon, who already felt some difference, knows that this punching bag method is more effective than they thought.

'Maybe the principle is similar to the smithing that he knows. A blacksmith needs to hammer the metal many times until it's good enough to be made into something good. Except, in this case, he's the metal that gets hammered many times.'

Although Zeon already knows that you can reinforce weapons and armor with runic force, he never really takes damage with his own body reinforced with his runic force. After being punched multiple times, he thinks that maybe his body is a lot stronger than the shield that he used previously.

'Maybe if I take the hit directly with myself reinforced by runic force, I can take the hit by the murloc mace and other blunt weapon. But, I'm pretty sure that a hit similar to the murloc magic bullet that can penetrate me easily needs another measure of defense.'

Zeon standing and readjusting his position to take another hit. He put all his strength to receive the hit. This time, he only got pushed slowly by the momentum and didn't fly away like before. Zeon slowly adapted to the rhythm of the attack and always put all his power to receive another hit. After five minute his body drenched with sweat and hurt all over. Zeon takes a rest and let's Li and Toast do their training.

Taking a rest Zeon thinks a lot about the runic force training method. His body can take a hit with that much power shouldn't contribute to the runic force that he can exert from his body but also his own strength. Strength is his primary attribute that gets enhanced by the system everyday. Everytime he successfully makes a selected choice, he'll gain a little bit of additional strength.

So, next year the federation will generalize the power level with an alphabetical rank system. Maybe runic force will be one of those methods that they will use to calculate the INT stat, maybe it will be similar to the ball whose role is to check how much power I can enforce the ball with.

Waiting for Li and Toast to finish their training, Zeon taking a rest on the side. After all of them completed their training in this room, they move on to the next training room.

Getting inside the second version runic force training room, they can see a lot of weapons from shield, sword, spear, gun, and many more. Reading the tutorial they understand how the training equipment works. Similar to the training room before, in this one they prepared a lot of training robots.

The first thing to do is similar as before, getting your runic force checked to add some safety measure. The next one is to choose any weapon we want the robot to hold. The next thing is to stand in front of the robot. The automatic runic engraving inside the robot will automatically enforce the weapon they hold. Finally we can receive the robot attack or attack while the robot is defending. There are many variations of attack patterns from horizontal slash, diagonal slash, stabbing, and many more. The robot didn't move and only stayed at their place, so it's easy for every beginner to train in this room.

The only difference between the first and second version is only the medium to enforce with runic force. The first one is we need to use our body as a medium. The second one we need to channel our runic force into a weapon to strengthen it. It sounds simple but the principle behind it was different.

Runic force is generated by the human body from inside, so it should be easier to enforce your body with it. Strengthening weapons or things with runic force means that you need strong enough runic force to channel inside those things, sometimes you need even more stamina and energy to do that thing. Even though many know that it wasn't that effective, a human body can only take so much. Humans are fragile, if their bones get fractured they can't even lift that part of their body for many days. That's why many people prefer to use weapons as a catalyst to attack or defend depending on their specialty.

Zeon chose a sword for the robot to hold and then he held the shield to defend with. Li chose a gun and put a shield on the robot. Li took a sword and gave a shield to the robot. The three of them continued their training.
