Fredrich sat cross-legged on the floor with the chaos stone. Cale sat behind him and put his hands on his back to help him.

"This is the first time you will take chaos energy into your body. As I told you before, chaos energy is a force that attacks your mind and will. It will try to control you, so try to follow the path I have shown you and channel the chaos energy through your mana meridians."

"Understood," Fredrich replied calmly and Cale sighed.

"Honestly, even though I said I would use the chaos stones to get stronger, I don't have much faith that it will work. So don't push yourself."

"I don't expect much either, it's just... it's an experiment where we check if anything bad happens when other people use chaos energy," he said and Cale frowned.

"Anyway, let's get started."
