Mino Corex sighed in boredom as the examiners checked the status of the students on the screens in front of them. Jessica Hill, standing next to him, glanced sideways at his yawn.
"What?"
"You look bored?"
"Can't you tell?" Mino Corex shrugged his shoulders. "Are these the predators of our future? I've never seen a worse group of students than them," he grumbled.
"There are some hopeful ones among them," she said, keeping an eye on Dante Hatt.
"If we're going to rely on just a few of them, the human race is doomed," he said, rolling his eyes.
"You're too pessimistic. Why don't you go and check the others, maybe you'll find a student who catches your eye."
Mino Corex reluctantly agreed and made his way to the screens on the other side. No one in the large room paid him any attention, and Mino grew more and more frustrated with each screen he caught his eye.
"Huh? What the hell is he doing?"
